Li An gave a slight nod. "I understand—this is an extremely complex process. But we have no retreat; we have to succeed." A look of resolve and determination shone in his eyes.

Just then, the laboratory door was suddenly flung open and Amane Suzuha hurried in. Her face was a little pale, and a hint of urgency flickered in her eyes. "This is bad—the SERN people are already closing in. We have to get ready to defend ourselves."

Hearing the news, everyone's expression became grave. "Dammit, these guys just won't stay dead!" Okabe Rintaro said angrily, his fists clenched tight, his body trembling slightly.

"Everyone, don't panic. Let's set up our defenses first." Li An said calmly, and he immediately began directing the others into action.

Makise Kurisu also joined the defensive preparations, a look of calm and focus in her eyes. "Li An, you keep researching the method to repair the world line. Leave this place to us." Her voice was firm and strong.

Amane Suzuha, Itaru, and the others fought with all their might, their figures darting through the smoke as they engaged the enemy in fierce combat. Makise Kurisu, meanwhile, used her wits to cleverly exploit the surroundings of the laboratory, setting traps that caused the enemy no small amount of trouble.
