Chapter 668: A Heart-Pounding Scene
Han Li let out a cold laugh. He no longer held back his strength and launched into a fierce battle with Li An and Guo Yao. The three figures darted swiftly through the ruins, fists, palms, and blades of light weaving together into a heart-pounding scene.
The battle wore on, and Li An and Guo Yao gradually found the openings in Han Li's defense. Working in perfect sync, one attacking while the other defended, they drove Han Li into a steady retreat.
"Damn it! How dare you!" Han Li roared, his eyes brimming with unwillingness and fury. But he knew there was no turning things around.
Just then, Li An noticed a rune on the stone stele begin to flicker. His heart stirred; he knew this was the key to breaking the deadlock. He hurriedly shouted to Guo Yao: "Yao'er, quick! Strike that rune!"
Guo Yao heard him and immediately shifted her attack, charging toward the rune on the stone stele. Her short blade traced a brilliant arc through the air, slashing straight at the rune.
"Bang!" The short blade struck the rune, producing a deafening roar. Immediately after, the ruins began to tremble, as though something was about to awaken.
Han Li's face changed drastically; he hadn't expected Li An and Guo Yao to truly find a way to break the deadlock. He wanted to flee, but it was already too late.
The center of the ruins suddenly split open with a massive fissure, and a powerful suction force poured out from within, drawing Han Li in whole. His figure twisted and warped within the pull, until at last he vanished.
"Han Li!" Li An shouted, but his voice was quickly swallowed by the trembling of the ruins.
Just then, the trembling of the ruins suddenly ceased, and everything returned to calm. Li An and Guo Yao exchanged a smile; they knew they had finally won.
Amid dim and oppressive ruins, the life-and-death showdown between Li An and Han Li was about to begin. Silver Moon watched quietly from the side, a mysterious gleam flickering in its eyes, as if it knew everything that was about to happen.
Li An gripped the weapon in his hand tightly, his gaze steady and cold. He drew a deep breath, then slowly exhaled, as though steadying himself. He knew this battle would decide the fate of both him and Guo Yao, and he had to give it everything he had.
Han Li, on the other hand, looked supremely confident. He stared coldly at Li An, a contemptuous smile curling at the corner of his mouth. He seemed to have seen right through Li An's thoughts, ready to teach him a painful lesson.

"Li An, you think you alone have the strength to defeat me? Absolutely laughable!" Han Li's voice was icy and mocking, his words cutting like a bitter winter wind.
Hearing this, Li An's gaze grew even more resolute. He said nothing more, simply fixing his eyes on Han Li as though gathering his strength. He knew Han Li had already descended into madness, and no words could shake his resolve. He could only prove his strength through action.
Just then, Silver Moon suddenly spoke: "Li An, don't forget the secret information about the ancient ruins I gave you. That is the key to defeating Han Li."
Hearing this, Li An's heart stirred. He recalled the secrets of the ancient ruins Silver Moon had told him before, and how to use them to defeat Han Li. He drew a deep breath, then nodded, as though expressing his gratitude to Silver Moon.
Han Li watched the exchange between Li An and Silver Moon, and an ominous premonition welled up inside him. He frowned, then said coldly: "What tricks are you two playing? Don't think you'll fool me with your little tricks."
