"Huh?" Mu Yi stopped flipping through, and he really found an activity suited to him.

【Infinite Trial Challenge】

Event location: Fate Simulation Universe

"The rules for this Infinite Trial Challenge are:"

Participating profession: Unlimited

Participating rank: Limited to Legendary Rank and Below

Detailed introduction:

The Infinite Trial Challenge is a simulated universe project jointly developed by the Tech Deity of the Science System led by the God of Ten Thousand Machines and the Wisdom Deity of the Wisdom System led by the God of Wisdom, aiming to simulate the development of each profession growing through different choices and to find the most correct path of growth.

Anyone can sign up for the challenge and experience in advance the powerful strength they might possess in the future.

After a character dies, they will not enter a state of soul weakness, and cannot continue the challenge after dying that day.

After entering the simulated universe, the dungeon will continuously refresh various types of monsters recorded per round, with fixed time per round; killing all monsters will open the next round early.

The number of monsters will be tied to the trial difficulty.

Few (Normal Difficulty), more (Hard Difficulty), large amount (Purgatory Difficulty), huge amount (Epic Difficulty); one can freely choose according to their profession's characteristics.

In different difficulties, elite monsters of varying numbers will appear, gaining extra skill specialties and attribute bonuses.

As the trial round number increases, every ten rounds an aura-enabled boss monster will randomly appear.

When monsters die, they do not drop treasure chests but produce trial currency (which cannot be taken out of the dungeon).

For each round cleared, a character can spend trial currency to purchase randomly appearing skills, specialties, and equipment in the shop, or spend trial currency to raise attributes.

A character can choose to settle at any time; after settlement, they will receive rich rewards based on dungeon kills and round number (Zongwang Disaster Coin, Universal Experience, Magic Item, Magic Equipment).

For every round beyond ten, the probability of obtaining rare item rewards upon settlement increases additionally."

Looking at the information floating on his retina, Mu Yi fell into thought……

He couldn't help but turn his gaze to his Elite Talent Iron-blooded Slaughter; frankly, this talent seems born specifically for this Infinite Trial Challenge.

Moreover, perhaps through this simulation he could find the correct way to unleash his talent; as long as he resolves the talent's hidden flaw, he won't just take off from the spot.

Done!

"Do you want to sign up for the Infinite Trial Challenge event?"

"Yes!"

"Checking whether the character meets the conditions……"

"Review passed, character conditions met, registration successful!"

"You have obtained the Simulation Universe Participation Certificate."

"Test subject, welcome to the test! — Greetings from the God of Ten Thousand Machines!"

Registration successful, Mu Yi let out a breath.

Before facing the new challenge, he first wanted to have a big meal to celebrate officially entering the Apprentice Rank Supernormal World.

Scanning the familiar yet unfamiliar streets, Mu Yi's feelings were completely different from before; the steel-and-concrete jungle was no longer prosperous, making him feel oppressed.

Passing by an alley, Mu Yi saw several flamboyant youths with cigarettes, blocking two beautiful young girls in the middle.

Mu Yi scratched his head; in broad daylight, would such a melodramatic scene really happen? Should he call the police or rush in to play hero and save the beauty?

He wasn't worried he couldn't beat these subhealthy youths; even saying his overall quality is two to three times that of a normal person, bullying these subhealthy Killer Youths is still no problem.

He reckoned they weren't much stronger than goblins.

He was worried that if he struck out without restraint and killed these youths, though it would be a crime, it wouldn't deserve death.

Just as Mu Yi was hesitating.

A youth with a red Killer Youth hairstyle obviously noticed Mu Yi's loitering, cigarette in mouth, glaring ferociously as he shouted at Mu Yi.

"What are you looking at! Get lost!"

"What's it to you!" Mu Yi, still hesitating, replied instinctively.

"Oh ho ho! Today I'll show you how many eyes the Horse King brings!" The red-haired Killer Youth, provoked by Mu Yi's taunt, smashed his cigarette on the ground and walked toward Mu Yi.

"You say you, the world is so beautiful, yet you're so violent; this is no good, no good!" Mu Yi sighed and walked toward the Killer Youth.

As the Killer Youth swung his slap, Mu Yi grabbed his wrist and then threw him over his shoulder, slamming him to the ground.

Looking at the red-haired youth groaning in pain on the ground, Mu Yi nodded satisfied; his force control was just right—neither causing serious injury nor leaving the opponent able to resist, simply perfect.

Then, facing the shocked gazes of the other Killer Youths, he charged straight into the flock like a tiger among sheep, knocking all of them down.

Seeing the Killer Youths lying on the ground groaning in pain, Mu Yi sighed; if only this were in a dungeon, he could directly settle the trouble once and for all.

"Don't let me see you around here again, got it?" Mu Yi faced the Killer Youths and subtly released a Killing Intent Field.

Seeing the cowering Killer Youths, Mu Yi sighed again; if only this were in a dungeon, he could just hack them all to pieces and not worry about future trouble.

The moment this thought arose, Mu Yi startled, wondering when he had come to regard killing as a convenient way to solve problems.

Ordinary life really is drifting away from him, isn't it?

With his interest waning, Mu Yi turned his head to the two girls; neither was tall, about 1.67 meters, with glossy black hair, revealing delicate faces, their eyes showing a pure foolishness, exuding a youthful vitality.

They seemed to be college students returning home for vacation? Or perhaps something else.

"Don't take these side streets; head home early!"

Mu Yi escorted the two girls out of the alley; seeing their sincere thanks, he watched them take a taxi away.

The heroic rescue he once fantasized about was accomplished, but sadly he had lost that youthful, restless heart of that moment.

For him now, women only affect his sword-drawing speed, so he ruthlessly refused their contact information.

Of course, it could also be that the two girls simply aren't his type, and he passed the charm check?

He always feels the disconnect from reality growing stronger; perhaps this is the price of walking the supernormal path.

Carrying complex feelings, Mu Yi entered the self-serve restaurant he had reserved; with his purse feeling tight, he could only choose this way to satisfy his ever-growing appetite day and night.

"Congratulations! You are our store's ten‑thousandth customer; we will waive the bill for this purchase!"

When Mu Yi was happily feasting, the waiter brought him some good news.

"How could I be so embarrassed!" Mu Yi glanced at the messy table and showed a smile that came from the heart.

【Wealth Luck】 truly is a divine skill!

As Mu Yi stepped lightly out of the Self-Serve Restaurant, everyone looked at him with admiring eyes.

Perhaps the big‑eater Mu Yi will become today's after‑dinner talk, leaving behind a little tale of a fortunate big‑eater.
