Chapter 221: Kaitou Kid is a hen that lays golden eggs

"Kaitou Kid sent another card to your house?"

The next morning, Akaso Kaze received a call from Sonoko.

Sonoko was nodding on the other end of the phone.

"That's right, this card appeared in our living room just now. Dad has already faxed the content to your house, and he asked me to tell you."

"Akaso-san, you don't know, Inspector Nakamori and Inspector Ginzo were almost driven crazy when they saw this notice letter."

"I heard they waited for Kaitou Kid on the rooftop of the Haido City Hotel for a whole night."

"Is that so?" Akaso Kaze smiled slightly, told you not to ignore me.

"By the way, do Mr. Mouri and the others know about this notice letter?"

Yesterday, Conan was determined to lie in wait to catch Kid; that triumphant look he had was really asking for a beating.

Now it's fine, being stood up by Kaitou Kid, he must feel great, right?

"Not yet."

Sonoko shook her head, "I originally planned to tell Ran in person after coming to school today, but I didn't expect Ran not to come to school, which is really strange."

Akaso Kaze was a bit worried: "Did something happen? I'll go over and take a look right away."

He arrived at the Mouri Detective Agency.

Conan and Uncle Mouri were sick.

Seeing Akaso Kaze come to visit the sick, Ran was very grateful, and the two snuggled together and had a good time.

Since watching the fireworks on the rooftop of the skyscraper, Ran's heart had opened up.

Of course, only half of her heart.

Akaso Kaze liked this opened half very much.

After snuggling for a while, Akaso Kaze went into the room to see the patients.

Inside the room, Uncle Mouri was lying on the bed, sleeping with his mouth wide open, snoring like thunder.

Conan, who had no human rights, was lying on the floor, looking depressed.

His nose was red like a clown's.

The most interesting thing was that there was actually a large snot bubble on his nose, which kept expanding and shrinking with his breathing, which was extremely strange.

Akaso Kaze stayed far away from him, afraid that the snot bubble would pop and land on him.

Conan also saw Akaso Kaze, and couldn't help but feel a little moved.

"Akaso-niisan, thank you for coming to see me."

Seeing Akaso Kaze, Conan remembered what he had said before about Kaitou Kid having gone far away.

He couldn't help but feel a bit frustrated.

If he had believed Akaso Kaze's words at the time, he wouldn't have frozen on the rooftop for several hours and gained nothing, and ended up with a bad cold.

"You're welcome."

Akaso Kaze shook the paper in his hand, which was the fax of the notice letter Kaitou Kid sent to the Suzuki family.

"Conan, the Suzuki family received another card from Kaitou Kid this morning, do you want to see it?"

"What? I want to see! I want to see!" Conan sat up immediately.

As soon as he encountered a puzzle, Conan's illness was cured a bit.

Akaso Kaze smiled and handed the notice letter to Conan.

"Yesterday was April 1st, April Fool's Day, so I played a little joke on everyone. If it caused any inconvenience to you all, please forgive me."

"However, the Dark Star is indeed my target. On April 19th, the Sally Beth will set sail from Yokohama Port, and I am determined to take that genuine Dark Star on the ship. Kaitou Kid."

This notice letter was as pretentious as ever.

Conan scanned the content of the notice letter at a glance and felt very depressed.

Damn it!

It was just as I thought.

Just because it was April Fool's Day, I was stood up.

Kid, oh Kid, you are really not very professional.

However, fortunately, Kaitou Kid hasn't given up on the Dark Star. On April 19th, I must catch him!

Conan turned his head to look at Akaso Kaze.

"Akaso-niisan, you're also going to attend the Suzuki family's yacht party on April 19th, right? Let's join forces then, we must catch Kaitou Kid!"

Akaso Kaze rolled his eyes at him disdainfully.

If I wanted to catch him, I could chase him to his school right now.

But there's no need at all.

Without such a phantom thief who specializes in stealing from the rich, where would the high-priced commissions come from?

You know, yesterday I just watched an exhibition for an hour or two and earned 20 million.

In a few days, there's another 20 million waiting for me to take.

Once I have the title of Phantom Thief Nemesis, won't the commissions be endless?

Kaitou Kid is simply a hen that lays golden eggs.

How can I kill the hen to get the eggs? ===== CHAPTER 223 =====
