Chapter 578: Plunging the whole world into panic

~5 min read 965 words

The surface of the Spree River shimmered, reflecting the glow of the sunset as a cruise ship slowly sailed by. Passing through the bridge arch ahead, the Berlin Cathedral appeared on the left-hand side.

On the small island within the cathedral area, there are five museums and art galleries.

One of them, the Pergamon Museum, looks like a Greek temple, and a woman was running behind this museum.

A suppressed pistol made a faint sound, and the ground in front of the woman was struck by a bullet, forcing her to stop in her tracks.

"Hey, hey, where are you planning to go? Didn't I say I'd give you a one-minute reprieve?"

Vodka, holding a gun, said.

The woman glared at him fiercely: "I've already said it, I'm not a spy!"

"Are you saying that we can no longer tell black from white?"

Hearing the voice from behind, the woman turned her head abruptly.

Gin walked slowly out of the building's shadow.

"Right, Riesling?"

The eyes revealed within her long bangs flashed with a fierce light, and the woman's body stiffened instantly.

Gin looked toward the Spree River flowing past the three of them.

"The opposite bank and this bank—the positions are already very clear."

Gin pointed his muzzle at Riesling.

"Besides you, who else is the mole mixed in with us? Spit out their names quickly!"

Vodka also looked at Riesling and said: "Confess quickly. You don't want to suffer, do you?"

"No matter how many times you ask, I won't say it! I'm not a spy at all. Even if you threaten me, it's useless, Gin!"

Looking at Riesling, who was facing him again, a smile appeared at the corner of Gin's mouth.

"Threaten? Do you think I would do something so cute?"

His cruel and cold gaze, along with his icy tone, made Riesling's hair stand on end.

"Five more seconds."

Just as Vodka began the countdown, Riesling's left foot stepped back, and then she turned quickly to the left, sprinting toward the riverbank.

"Four, three, two, one."

Gin did not chase; instead, he moved his muzzle while counting down calmly.

"Zero!"

Just as Riesling was about to jump into the river, the bullet Gin fired struck her head.

The sound of falling into the water rang out, and a patch of blood spread across the river surface.

As Riesling's body floated to the surface, a cruise ship sailed past her.

The waves created by the ship's hull covered the blood and the corpse. The tourists on the cruise ship were engrossed in admiring the sights on the riverbank; no one noticed the corpse of the woman who had been shot in the head.

After the cruise ship passed, Vodka walked to the bank, confirmed the corpse floating on the water, and turned to nod at Gin.

"Let's go. Move quickly."

Gin said as he walked away, and Vodka asked from behind: "Where to?"

"Japan."

"Could it be?!"

"We are finally going back."

Gin whispered, the corners of his mouth lifting slightly, "Master Onmyoji, please wait for me..."

"Hey, Vermouth, has Curaçao still not been found?"

Rum's gloomy voice came over the phone.

"Not yet. Why? Are you in a hurry?" Vermouth's mouth curled slightly.

"Hmph, Gin and Vodka have already taken out the moles abroad. I've had them rush back to Tokyo now, along with Chianti and Korn; they'll be there soon."

"Are you crazy? Sending so many people over." Vermouth's eyes widened. "Tokyo is my turf!"

"Not anymore!" A cold laugh came from the phone. "I've already reported to the BOSS. Curaçao must not be lost; we must get our hands on the FBI's mole list."

"Hehe." Vermouth laughed. "Have you forgotten? That Master Onmyoji is in Tokyo. He won't sit idly by."

"Onmyoji? Hmph, I've long wanted to meet him. This time, I've had Gin bring the organization's latest research results. I want to see whether high-tech weapons are stronger, or that Master Onmyoji's magic power is."

Hanging up the phone, Vermouth's expression turned cold.

"Bastard, to actually use that kind of weapon. Once the Onmyoji is angered, I'm afraid the Black Organization will suffer a heavy blow again."

"No, I must make preparations early."

Jodie's car was parked in the parking lot, and she was looking at the photo James had given her.

In the photo were two foreign men and one foreign woman.

"Britain's MI6, Canada's CSIS, Germany's BND... Intelligence agents from various countries have been assassinated one after another."

"Could it be?"

Jodie moved her gaze away from the photo, and James nodded affirmatively: "Their commonality is that they all infiltrated that organization."

"Was it really those guys from the Black Organization who did it?" Jodie gritted her teeth.

Camel, in the passenger seat, also turned around: "According to the report sent by Akai, it was the Black Organization's agent Curaçao who infiltrated the National Police Agency to steal the data."

Jodie, in the driver's seat, said "Hmm" and frowned.

"Two days ago, Vermouth infiltrated the Metropolitan Police Department. I gathered a large number of people to lie in ambush, but who knew we would come up empty-handed."

"I felt something was wrong at the time, so I immediately notified the National Police Agency and sent Akai over, but I didn't expect Curaçao to get away. However, I heard that the woman has gone missing, and the Black Organization is currently searching for her."

James said coldly: "We must find Curaçao before suffering greater losses and grasp exactly how much information has been leaked. Now, the whole world has been plunged into panic."

James's gloomy expression was reflected in the rear window.

Intelligence that could plunge the whole world into panic?

"What exactly was the data that was stolen?" Jodie asked, frowning. ===== CHAPTER 580 =====
