……

The staff officers nodded repeatedly, responding with enthusiastic applause.

Even Stanley, who had previously expressed concern, was now infected by the optimistic mood, believing that Long Country truly had no way out.

However, the catastrophe was quietly descending.

First was the air.

The fighter jet piloted by Lieutenant Jackson had just entered the Black Fog area when the originally clear radio communication suddenly turned into harsh static.

"Headquarters, this is 'Eagle One', communication seems to be experiencing interference, please switch to the backup channel, over."

Jackson didn't take it to heart and tried to adjust the communication equipment.

But bizarre things happened one after another—the indicator lights on the dashboard began to flicker, turning red one by one, and then all went out.

The aircraft's control system became sluggish, and finally, it was completely unresponsive.

"What's going on?" Jackson felt a trace of panic and pulled hard on the control stick, only to find the aircraft completely out of control.

"Damn it! The electrical system is having problems!"

He tried to start the backup power, only to find that all electrical systems had failed.

The aircraft began to fall uncontrollably, as if a slab of iron were dropping straight down from the sky.

"Emergency! Emergency! This is 'Eagle One', the aircraft's electrical system has completely failed, unable to control! Calling headquarters! Calling anyone!"

Jackson shouted until his voice was hoarse, but the communication system had long since malfunctioned, and no one could hear his plea for help.

It wasn't just Jackson; the entire formation of aircraft met the same fate.

One fighter jet after another fell from the sky like flies swatted by an invisible hand.

The enemy soldiers on the ground watched this scene in a daze—dozens of advanced fighter jets lost control without warning and fell straight down from the sky, slamming into the earth like dumplings being dropped into a pot, erupting in a series of loud bangs and flashes of fire.

"My God! What happened?" an infantryman shouted in terror, "How come all our planes are falling down?"

The tank units also met the same misfortune.

Captain Graham, who had been full of confidence just a moment ago, suddenly discovered that his tank's engine began to make abnormal noises, and then it completely stalled.

He slapped the control panel, but there was no response at all.

"Damn it! What's going on?" he shouted into the communicator, but only received static noise.

What was even more terrifying was that tiny electric sparks began to emerge from inside the tank's control panel, and then the entire circuit system began to short-circuit, emitting a pungent, burnt smell.

"Retreat quickly! The tank is going to catch fire!" the co-pilot shouted in terror, and several tankers hurriedly opened the hatch and scrambled out of the tank in a panic.

The tank group, which had been imposing just a moment ago, now all stopped in place, turning into piles of cold metal shells.

Some even caught fire due to short-circuits, emitting billowing black smoke.

At the Ground Radar Station and the interception system command center, the situation was even more chaotic.

"What's going on? The system has completely crashed!" the Radar Operator slapped the black-screen monitor in a panic.

"The backup generator has also failed!" another technician ran in to report, "All electronic equipment is short-circuiting!"

The commander picked up the communicator, trying to contact headquarters:

"Headquarters! Headquarters! This is the frontline Radar Station, we are experiencing unknown electronic interference, all systems are paralyzed! Headquarters, please answer if you hear me!"

But only deathly Silence responded to him.

In the blink of an eye, the enemy's proud modern equipment—tanks, aircraft, Radar, communication equipment, and interception systems—all turned into a pile of scrap metal in this mysterious Black Fog.

Major General Maikeersi stood at the entrance of the temporary command post, watching helplessly as an aircraft drew an arc in the air, then fell straight down, exploding into a fireball not far away.

His complexion turned from red to white, his legs went weak, and he could barely stand steady.

"This... this is impossible..." he muttered to himself, his voice filled with unbelievable fear, "What on earth happened..."

Just at this moment, rumbling artillery fire came from afar—Long Country's counterattack had begun.

……

When the Black Fog had shrouded the enemy positions for half an hour, inside the Long Country Frontline Command, Li Yunlong was observing the situation in the distance through binoculars.

"Is it thundering?" he looked suspiciously at the enemy planes constantly falling from the sky, "No, that is..."

Suddenly, he widened his eyes, so excited he almost jumped up:

"Holy shit! The enemy's planes are falling! They're all falling, damn it!"

Li Mingyuan stood to the side and said calmly:

"The conductive powder released by the Graphite Bomb has already seeped into all of the enemy's electronic equipment.

Their communication systems, Radar networks, fire control devices, and interception systems—all equipment relying on electricity has completely failed."

"This is the moment we've been waiting for!" Li Yunlong slapped the table excitedly, "Pass on my order, the whole army attacks!

The tank units advance toward the enemy positions, artillery fires in continuous volleys, bombarding their assembly areas!"

Soon, the entire Long Country frontline was boiling over.

Rocket launchers, howitzers, and Mortar opened fire simultaneously, pouring down dense firepower.

The "Ferocious Dragon" tank engines roared, forming a Steel Torrent, and pounced toward the enemy positions.

Even those soldiers who had previously looked skeptical about the Graphite Bomb were now full of fanaticism, scrambling to rush to the frontline.

"Look! The enemy's tanks are all stalled!" a Long Country Scout reported excitedly, "Their tankers are abandoning their vehicles and fleeing one after another!"

Li Yunlong couldn't help but laugh up at the sky: "Damn it, this time they really lifted a rock only to drop it on their own feet! The enemy's proud electronic systems have now become their greatest weakness!"

Li Mingyuan, however, remained calm: "The effect of the graphite cloud will last for several hours; taking this opportunity, we must break through the enemy's defense line with all our might."

Long Country's artillery shells fell on the enemy positions like raindrops; without the protection of the interception system, every shell could accurately hit its target.

The armored units drove straight in, violently assaulting the enemy's retreating troops.

For a time, the sounds of explosions, collisions, and screams intertwined, and the entire battlefield turned into a chaotic hell.

On the enemy's position, the situation was even worse than anyone had imagined.

"Retreat! Everyone retreat!"

Major General Maikeersi waved his arms frantically, attempting to organize an orderly retreat, but without communication equipment, his orders could not be transmitted at all.

Everywhere there were panicked soldiers, running, shoving, and shouting.

Those advanced pieces of equipment they had once been so proud of had now turned into scrap metal and burdens.

"The tank is on fire! Run!" A tanker crawled out of the smoking tank, his face covered in blood.

Due to a short circuit, a small explosion occurred inside the entire tank, wounding several tankers.

"The interception system is completely paralyzed!" the commander of the interception position reported in despair, "Long Country's artillery shells hit our ammunition depot directly!"

A loud boom came from the distance, followed by flames shooting into the sky—the ammunition depot had been hit, and the shockwave from the explosion knocked the surrounding soldiers to the ground.
