Chapter 1422

This news, describing it as "sudden" is not an exaggeration at all.

The previous second, there was no news on the internet at all.

But the next second, there was discussion about the mascot everywhere.

The reason was simple.

Naturally, the official took action.

Added to that, this was a mascot selection related to the Olympic Games, and it was by way of folk collection and online voting...

Truly belonging to 【Universal Participation】.

It would be hard not to be popular.

Immediately, the website for submission and voting became the hottest website at the moment.

Right... besides voting, netizens could also "submit".

Design their own image, send it to the voting website, and let netizens vote.

Although most people didn't hold hope, everyone was still incredibly enthusiastic about participating in it.

Immediately "967", countless good or bad suggestions appeared on the website.

And just as netizens were mocking each other, an account with Paimon as the avatar and named 【Damn Mihuyou-Genshin】 caught the eyes of countless people.

And an original painting submitted by this account was actually—Qilin Sister Ganyu.

At first, players only thought this was some Genshin player coming up to mess around.

But when they clicked on that avatar, they found... this was actually an officially certified big V account!!

That is to say, this was indeed a submission from Damn Mihuyou!!

"Holy crap!!" After discovering this fact, countless people subconsciously blurted out swear words.

Then... silently cast their only vote for 【Qilin Sister Ganyu】.

This... was simply too interesting, wasn't it?

Turned around and told everyone.

And this also made countless game players' brains open up, either submitting Zhong Li's portrait.

Or voting for Q-version Keqing, Q-version Eden, Q-version Elysia, Paimon...

Even Cloud Retainer, Azhdaha...

Of course, these submissions didn't pass the review.

After all, it was netizens spontaneously joking, if Damn Mihuyou sent it, maybe there would be a chance to pass the review, get on the list and show their face.

Therefore, on the current list, besides 【Qilin Sister Ganyu】, the others were all very serious candidate works.

For example, pandas, crested ibises, and other animals.

Or some original works with cute images.

But these works received too little attention compared to 【Qilin Sister Ganyu】.

Damn Mihuyou fans were already numerous.

And the selection of the Olympic mascot was an incredibly formal thing.

Who would have thought that Damn Mihuyou, this old 6, would secretly cast their own virtual character, and the key was... it passed the review, do you dare to believe it?!

Such an interesting thing, as believers of joy, how could netizens not participate in it.

Under the mutual telling, everyone ran to cast their only vote for 【Qilin Sister Ganyu】.

And the most popular comment below also made people laugh and cry—

【You vote once, I vote once, next year we can buy genuine Sister Ganyu figures~】

Once this comment came out, it immediately awakened countless game players.

Right!!!

Damn Mihuyou had never sold figures.

Not even pirated ones.

What could be called peripheral products might only be the co-branded fashion from Qiancheng Fashion, as well as Valkyrie armor, and the Yujing Company co-branded mobile phone.

As for figures and such, they had never been released.

And now, if 【Qilin Sister Ganyu】 was selected as the mascot... wouldn't we be able to buy Qilin Sister Ganyu dolls then?!

Now, netizens had one more reason to vote for 【Qilin Sister Ganyu】.

From 【Qilin Sister Ganyu】 passing the review and getting on the list, to climbing to the first place in votes, it only took half a day.

Even many people who hadn't played "Genshin Impact" and didn't know Sister Ganyu, when seeing this cute and elegant Qilin, couldn't help but click in to take a look.

【Auspicious Beast Qilin—Sister Ganyu】

【Gentle wind brushes the forest, sweet rain moistens things】

【Meaning: Auspiciousness and peace, diligence and happiness】

Olympic mascots would have specific meanings, and Qilin indeed matched the four words 【Auspiciousness and peace】.

As for the diligence and happiness behind, it was very consistent with Sister Ganyu's character setting.

Even the name of this Qilin 【Sister Ganyu】 was taken so well.

These various reasons added together made countless people who didn't even know Sister Ganyu cast their only vote without hesitation.

As time passed, Sister Ganyu's votes were getting further and further away from the second place.....

This situation left countless game players dumbfounded.
