Chapter 498

Why bother?

Could it be a scrapped draft for "Honkai Impact 4"? Adapted and then added into Honkai Impact 3rd?

Mo Li shook his head.

Regardless of the reason, as long as it doesn't affect him, it's fine.

However, Aunt Jizi's question still needed an answer:

"Consider it... adding a new gameplay mode..."

"Although the story and the Elysian Realm are already very replayable, having more gameplay can also increase the game's daily activity, right?"

Aunt Jizi: "..."

"Really... sometimes I wonder if you are smart or stupid..."

"Post-Honkai Odyssey could have been released as a new game mode entirely..."

"If it were the Penguin company, they would definitely rename it 'Honkai Impact 4', polish the story, and finally change the skills of the Valkyries from 'Honkai Impact 3rd' and throw them into the gacha pool."

"That way, they could rake in another wave of money in 3.5."

Mo Li smiled: "How come I didn't notice before that you have the mind of a profiteer?"

Aunt Jizi was quite happy to be praised like that:

"That's for sure~ Now you know, right? Using my business acumen on games is a bit of a waste of talent."

Mo Li reminded her seriously: "I said 【profiteer】, not 【business acumen】!"

"Heh~" Aunt Jizi gave a disdainful smile:

"Even if one wants to be a profiteer, one must have a mind like mine, right?"

Mo Li laughed and shook his head.

"It's a pity, this is Mihuyou, not the Penguin company."

Aunt Jizi: "..."

"That's true..."

"It's precisely because of your management style that our games can have such a good reputation and such a highly cohesive player base."

Mo Li shook his head: "It's not just my credit alone."

"You and Sister Yidian both deserve a lot of credit."

If it weren't for Sister Yidian, I'm afraid that from the story of "The Last Lesson," "Honkai Impact 3rd" would have been influenced by the negative sentiment stirred up by the Penguin company, fermenting a batch of haters.

"Heh~ As long as you know~"
