This book started in mid-July, and it's been less than 7 months since it started. I've written 1.74 million words, averaging about 240,000 words a month, which is about 8K a day. This update volume isn't exaggerated, just barely okay.

And the recent updates have been unstable, mainly because there won't be much length left for the novel. If there's no fountain-like burst of inspiration later, I'll probably write to about 2.5 million words and let the novel land and wrap up smoothly.
