Chapter 81: Becoming Kakashi's Team-Leading Jonin

At Training Ground 13 in Konoha Village, Kakashi, Uchiha Obito, and Nohara Rin were standing there, waiting for their new team-leading Jonin.

"Kakashi, do you know who our new team-leading Jonin is? It's really strange, why are they assigning us a team-leading Jonin now!"

Obito kept chattering away on the side, yet Kakashi, leaning against a wooden post, squinted his eyes and didn't even listen carefully, just responding with vague grunts.

"Kakashi, are you even listening to me at all!"

"Instead of nagging here, you'd be better off practicing your taijutsu more. As for why there's a team-leading Jonin, even if you thought about it with your toes, it should be quite clear."

"We are about to—go to the battlefield!"

A faint voice sounded behind Uchiha Obito. He felt a chill on the back of his neck and hurriedly turned his head, only to see Uchiha Feiyu squatting on the tree behind him.

"Ha... haha..., it's Brother Feiyu! Why are you so elusive? What do you want by suddenly running over here?"

"Hehehe..."

A light chuckle sounded in his ear. Obito turned his head to look and happened to see the masked Kakashi, his eyes curved into crescents, wearing a look of schadenfreude.

"Still haven't figured it out? Obito, who are we waiting for here?"

"Waiting for who? Isn't it our team-leading Jonin?"

Obito looked at Kakashi with a strange expression, as if asking how he could ask such a stupid question.

Kakashi twitched the corner of his mouth and decided to stop paying attention to this fool Obito. Rin, standing to the side, couldn't bear it and whispered a reminder to Obito:

"Obito, Feiyu is already a Jonin now!"

"I know Feiyu is already a Jonin... uh..., wait, no way?"

Uchiha Obito, who had just reacted, had an expression of disbelief. He turned his head to look at Uchiha Feiyu. Uchiha Feiyu shrugged slightly, nodded, and gave him a big smile:

"That's right... I am your team-leading Jonin now!"

Hearing this, Uchiha Obito's shoulders shook, and his face showed a smile uglier than crying:

In the training ground, Uchiha Feiyu looked at Uchiha Obito, who was being chased around by several large snakes, with a smile on his face.

Kakashi, standing beside him, had an indifferent expression, while only Nohara Rin showed a bit of unbearable pity, though she didn't say anything more.

After all, Uchiha Feiyu was using the excuse of a test to mess with Obito. Besides, even if he messed with him severely, Uchiha Feiyu couldn't possibly cripple or ruin Obito; at most, it would just make him suffer a little and learn a lesson.

Seeing Uchiha Obito return to the ranks, Orochimaru gave him a sinister look, which scared the fool into shutting his mouth. With a wave of his hand, the ninja force set out immediately.
