Chapter 659: Salvation, Testing (4K)

"Sun Goddess Yanjun!"

Zhang Jian's expression was calm, and he held in his hand this broken golden body dharma form.

His vast and eternal will permeated the depths of the sun star, following this ruin deep within, and in an instant, fragments of golden body flew out from his eternal will's control, instantly sinking into the broken golden body in his hand.

As the broken golden body gradually reassembled, a beautiful goddess with a lovely face and graceful figure appeared in Zhang Jian's palm.

As it reassembled, the boundless killing intent wandering in the depths of the sun star seemed to have found an entrance, instantly transforming into a heavenly flood that merged into it; only then did one see the goddess golden body in his hand emitting layer upon layer of faint divine light, and also a vast and mighty divine power, with authority following, pouring into it, instantly blazing like a scorching sun.

The golden body gradually weighed down Zhang Jian's palm, turning in the void into a wheel of golden scorching sun.

At the same time, a cold voice sounded from within.

"Who are you, and why do you wield the authority of the great sun?"

Upon hearing this, Zhang Jian glanced at his own resplendent golden-red robe, and a hint of calm appeared on his face.

"Fellow Daoist Yanjun, wielding the authority of the great sun is not unusual; what is unusual is why, after the deity who held the authority of the great sun fell, there would be such resentment?"

With a wave of Zhang Jian's hand, the surrounding layer of intense golden-red divine light faded away, and a layer of azure divine light, pure and holy, burst forth from within.

He manifested within it the form of the Qinglian Salvation Heavenly Venerable Daoist Monarch, and simultaneously, a pure and holy purifying power merged into the depths of the void, into that sun-like goddess golden body, causing it to continuously expand, and the gradually demonized soul to awaken anew.

The azure divine light cleansed the mud-palace of this sun goddess, helping her temporarily seal and suppress the resentment and killing intent all over her body.

Zhang Jian simultaneously softly recited the Qinglian Salvation Precious Scripture, aiding her in stabilizing her Dao heart.

The azure divine light protected, and the black killing intent entwined upon the golden-red sun gradually dispersed.

At this moment, within the sun, a beautiful goddess clad in a golden long skirt gradually manifested part of her divine form, and she slightly bowed, saying.

"This humble deity thanks the Qinglian Salvation Heavenly Venerable Daoist Monarch!"

At this time, a azure precious lotus gradually appeared atop her head, the precious lotus hanging down myriad strands of pure, purifying immortal light, shielding her from the terrifying killing intent and resentment still sweeping around her.

Seeing this, Zhang Jian instantly knew that this ruler of the sun probably truly had a great injustice that could not be spoken of.

The knot in the heart unresolved, the killing intent would not easily dissipate.

At this moment, in the depths of his brow, the Boundless Great Brightness Cloud Cavern shone, and he had already vaguely seen some fragments, whereupon he said.

"Fellow Daoist Yanjun, you need not thank this deity; your existence now already affects the survival of all beings in heaven and earth. According to this deity's thought, directly delivering you to salvation might perhaps be the best way to redeem all beings in heaven and earth!"

Zhang Jian raised one hand, and in the depths of his palm, the vast azure divine light surged as if into the depths of the sun star, cleansing all the boundless sun killing intent.

With the innate spiritual treasure he held in his hand, the third-grade innate creation Qinglian, purifying the sun killing intent in the depths of the sun star, and the will of Yanjun, is not difficult.

Zhang Jian's gaze fell upon her, and Yanjun also felt that terrifying pressure entering deep into her primordial spirit, as if a azure lotus was faintly sprouting in the depths of her primordial spirit and spiritual awareness, within which a mighty divine tone of purifying heaven and earth was born; even her full heart of obsession, resentment, and unwillingness seemed to have an omen of turning into nothingness and complete liberation.

Yanjun heard the words, yet her expression showed no fear at all, for she knew that with this Daoist Monarch's methods, he could probably truly deliver her to salvation.

She pondered and said.

"Heavenly Venerable's compassion, this humble deity also knows that her existence has already affected the yin-yang balance of heaven and earth, but this humble deity's heart truly cannot bear it; in the past, she was wrongfully killed, died due to others' schemes, and now the other party does not die, but instead resides in the supreme position of heaven and earth—is this not the injustice of heaven and earth!"

"This humble deity dares to ask, please grant this humble deity a chance to settle grudges from the Heavenly Venerable!"

Saying this, she quietly bowed down.

Zhang Jian, upon hearing this, fell into slight silence, then immediately said.

"The person you refer to, this deity naturally knows; that person acts against reason, steals the heavenly Dao, slaughters living beings, damages the heavenly Dao to enrich himself, and will surely face retribution in the future!"

After a slight pause, Zhang Jian's gaze fell upon Yanjun, seeing that resentment still lingered deep in her eyes, whereupon he said.

"Fellow Daoist Yanjun, since your resentment is hard to dispel, why not let this monarch personally perform a Dharma rite for you? Perhaps you will still have a chance in the future to return to the divine path and settle this karma yourself!"

Yanjun, however, suddenly shook her head, and deep in her eyes, a thread of black-red light faintly blossomed forth.

"No, I do not want reincarnation; no one can stop me from demanding his life!"

At this moment, a thread of pure black flame suddenly appeared deep in Yanjun's brow.

In an instant, that pure black flame actually wrapped around the azure precious lotus deep in her brow, causing that azure lotus precious lotus to shine brightly.

Zhang Jian saw this strange pure black flame, and his eyes showed some surprise.

That thread of pure black flame was extraordinarily terrifying.

The state of this former sun goddess was somewhat strange; a trace of her primordial spirit indestructible, having endured countless resentments and torments, had already transformed into an innate evil god.

Moreover, she was a rather special innate evil god.

She took the sun star as her origin, and even while gradually polluting the origin of the sun star, thus giving rise to such overwhelming sun killing intent.

At this time, her innate evil god true form had not yet been nurtured into shape; it could only be said that she had just recently fallen, and if she were to nurture her innate evil god true form, she feared her foundation would still be in the realm of calamity, and above the two innate demon gods, Wuji and Tianzui, she would become the nightmare of the countless immortals and gods of the celestial courts.

At this time, the six great Daoist Monarchs were entangled by the calamity of the boundless eons, suffering heavenly Dao backlash, and in fact, were fundamentally unable to free their hands to deal with her.

Moreover, she hid herself very well; a trace of innate will and sun will perfectly merged, and if not for Zhang Jian possessing the Yuanshi Jade Pearl, the Boundless Brightness Cloud support, and illuminating all voids, he probably could not have forced out her innate will.

If given time, she might not be unable to emerge in the boundless eons.

But now, having encountered Zhang Jian, it is evidently impossible for her to nurture into form.

Zhang Jian also did not care about this goddess's 'unwillingness'; he sat cross-legged, and beneath his feet, a azure precious lotus blossomed; he silently recited the Qinglian Salvation Precious Scripture in his mouth, yet saw the void produce light, one after another azure lotus appearing out of nowhere, and behind him, a magnificent azure lotus pure land manifested.

Within the pure land, the evolution of myriad living beings enjoying great freedom and great ease appeared.

Within, there were also various vajras, heavenly kings, and jade maidens condensed, and furthermore, there were deities whose bodies were entwined with boundless divine light, each silently reciting the Qinglian Salvation Precious Scripture in their mouths.

These were all living beings that Zhang Jian had previously delivered to salvation.

Over these years, he wandered the heavens and voids in dreams, and through the dream transmigration method, delivered countless living beings to salvation, among whom were also some cultivators who had achieved success.

After these living beings were delivered to salvation, they would leave behind a portion of their soul imprints merging into the Qinglian Soul Purification Dharma Formula above; within it lay a thread of utmost goodness and purity, sufficient to wear away all foolishness and liberate the obsessions of all gods.

The azure light shone upon this trace of innate will of Yanjun, and through this trace of innate will gradually penetrating deep into the dark void, Zhang Jian saw a magnificent purple-gold ocean.

Zhang Jian knew that this must be the ocean of the utmost yang origin deep in the core of the sun star.

And within the depths of this utmost yang origin ocean, at this moment, a terrifying evil embryo was born, resembling a great vortex devouring the utmost yang origin qi, faintly resonating with the sun will.

It seemed heaven-born to be the master of the sun star.

This was Yanjun's innate evil god embryo.

At this time, the azure divine light penetrated the purple-gold ocean, and in an instant fell upon the terrifying evil embryo, transforming into a azure imprint merging into it.

A green precious lotus slowly formed within, deep in the innate demonic fetus, an infant let out mournful, piercing cries, and his cries resonated with a portion of the solar will.

Layer upon layer of magnificent purple-gold divine light followed the vortex, entering the infant's body, transforming into a terrifying purple-gold blaze, attempting to refine the green mark.

This was the power of the solar will.

This power was extraordinarily magnificent.

Yet in essence, it did not match the layers of immortal light bursting forth from within the green mark.

The green lotus immortal light burst forth from within, directly causing the overwhelming purple-gold flames to stagnate, instantly dissipating bit by bit; that green purifying light, as if capable of purifying everything and relieving boundless obsessions.

The resentment and murderous aura nurtured within the innate demonic fetus gradually dissolved, leaving only a thread of pure and pristine innate yang origin, which reformed into a golden embryo slowly inhaling and exhaling purple-gold solar true fire, restoring its origin.

Outside, as the boundless murderous aura and resentment dissolved, the innate will deep within the shattered golden idol gradually sank into decline.

Zhang Jian gazed upon this scene, a hint of satisfaction appearing in his eyes.

Although it was a forced conversion, at least for a short time, the terrifying solar star calamity would dissipate.

As for the obsession in Yan Jun's heart, he would find an opportunity to completely unravel it.

"From now on, you will follow this deity, wandering between heaven and earth with this deity; perhaps one day you will realize that everything between heaven and earth is more wonderful than you imagined!"

Within the golden idol, Yan Jun's will merely fluctuated slightly.

This fluctuation carried no emotion, as if he had completely let go of the past.

But Zhang Jian knew that although using a special liberation method had resolved Yan Jun's obsession, if other powerful beings attempted to interfere, there would still be aftereffects.

Therefore, he should subsequently resolve it through the method of teaching and transformation.

But at least for now, the yin-yang imbalance calamity had been temporarily resolved.

At this moment, Zhang Jian felt that as he liberated this solar goddess, within the Emperor's Dao Fruit Auspicious Clouds, a great vow transformed into flowing light and merged into the depths of the auspicious clouds, and furthermore, a magnificent heavenly scroll merged into his position as the Green Lotus Savior Heavenly Venerable Dao Monarch, causing this second-transformation Dao Monarch position to radiate like vast purple light, within which layers of innate runes evolved and emerged, perfecting this Dao Monarch position.

In the depths of the void, furthermore, a magnificent flow of fortune descended into it, and in almost an instant, it directly surged past the limit of the second-transformation Dao Monarch realm, directly stepping into the third-transformation Dao Monarch realm.

After stepping into the third-transformation Dao Monarch realm, the green fortune within the purple-green Dao Monarch position was gradually transforming into pure purple, leaving only a thread of green fortune within.

Zhang Jian further felt, from the position of the third-transformation Green Lotus Savior Heavenly Venerable Dao Monarch, a magnificent and vast divine energy, as if it could easily pierce through the defensive immortal light formed by third- and fourth-rank eternal Dao laws.

Divine energy surged.

At the same time, streams of magnificent divine power flowed out from within, merging into his Emperor's Dao Fruit Auspicious Clouds, causing various omens to arise within the auspicious clouds, and furthermore, purple-gold great Dao dragon patterns continuously condensed within.

These were omens of increasing Dao cultivation.

Merely being a second-transformation Dao Monarch, yet already possessing two great third-transformation Dao Monarch positions, Zhang Jian could be said to have astonishing fortune.

But for him, to overturn the great situation of the celestial courts and heavenly realms, it was still probably insufficient.

"However, next I should truly test the situation of that one!"

Zhang Jian secretly thought in his heart.

Regarding the conditions of the six great Dao Monarchs, he had a vague sense, but he did not yet know to what extent they were restricted.

However, if he could probe the true and false state of the Purple Origin Heavenly Emperor, he would not mind joining forces with the Jade Carving Dao Monarch a day earlier to directly eliminate him.

Passive waiting is not his style.

As for how to probe the Purple Origin Heavenly Emperor, he already had a mature idea.

……

Nine Seas Holy Realm, this place is located in the Source Sea region among the Ten Lands, this place is a rare land of abundant water element within the Ten Heavens and Ten Lands realm, because this place is where the water element of the celestial courts and heavenly realms converges.

Jade Carving Dao Monarch had infiltrated this place hundreds of years ago, continuously supplementing and perfecting the water eyes and water veins within the Nine Seas Holy Realm.

With the aid of this water-element origin and water-element fortune, the Water Mother Dao Monarch position nurtured within her Boundless Gate could form at any time, and once formed, it would certainly not be as simple as a first- or second-transformation Dao Monarch; it might even begin at the third-transformation Dao Monarch realm.

However, Jade Carving Dao Monarch did not choose to condense the Water Mother Dao Monarch position at this time, to bring forth the position, but instead chose to continue enduring in silence.

Within a magnificent water vein, Jade Carving Dao Monarch disguised herself as an innate deity, explaining cultivation methods to some aquatic beings, transmitting the water-element divine path; suddenly her expression moved, yet she casually reached out, and behold, a golden light flew from the void, landing deep in her brow.

"Probe?"

Her pupils flickered slightly, she pondered briefly, and she also approved of Zhang Jian's plan.

……

Celestial Courts and Heavenly Realms, Nine Underworld Netherworld Palace.

The Celestial Courts and Heavenly Realms are magnificent and vast, with celestial palaces standing above the ten heavens, overseeing all immortals and gods, ruling the immortals and gods of the heavenly realm; in between are the ten lands, nurturing countless billions of living beings; and in the netherworld region of the Celestial Courts and Heavenly Realms, there is a region known as the Nine Underworld Netherworld Palace, the destination for countless billions of beings of the Ten Heavens and Ten Lands.

The Nine Underworld Netherworld Palace is magnificent and vast.

Within it lies another vast netherworld sea, this is the place of rebirth for countless billions of ghosts.

However, to undergo rebirth in this netherworld sea is not simple; within it flows the weak water of the netherworld, and even a slight touch will cause the soul's body to be riddled with a thousand holes; therefore, one must have netherworld ghosts and gods to guide them before they can enter the depths of the central netherworld passage and then be reborn.

And now, the netherworld sea is held by a Netherworld Emperor of the Nine Underworld Netherworld Palace, who commands countless millions of ghost gods, ruling the countless millions of ghost souls within the Nine Underworld Netherworld Palace through cruel means, for this he has created myriad harsh rules and terrifying punishments.

For this reason, within the Nine Underworld Netherworld Palace, at times ghost kings rise in rebellion, but under the iron hoof rule of the Netherworld Emperor, such chaos is quickly quelled.

But this day, the entire netherworld sea suddenly surged, and behold, a piece of compassionate, holy green divine light, carrying the boundless heavenly sound, suddenly shone down upon the netherworld sea from above.

The compassionate, holy, vast divine light fell into the netherworld ocean, and moments later, a vast and magnificent pure land rapidly condensed from within, furthermore, the heavenly Dao sound appeared.

"I am the Green Lotus Savior Heavenly Venerable; when the Green Lotus Pure Land is born, I will save all beings of the world, so that all people dwell in blessings, forever free from sorrow and grief, only joy to be cherished. Born in this place, life suffers no harm, heart knows no worry, body knows no affliction, acting as the heart desires, life ends and immediately attains rebirth in Zhuling!"

But as the words fell, from the depths of the vast netherworld sea, suddenly surged forth magnificent divine light, and a voice of angry rebuke came.

"Demon Monarch, how bold you are!"
