Based on the battlefield reality of failure, it couldn’t stop that immensely powerful electromagnetic main gun from firing.

Ultron suddenly thought: Would it be great if it had more powerful weapons...

Like nuclear weapons.

Unfortunately, the Middle East doesn’t possess nuclear-armed countries (note that this differs from reality, please do not correlate with reality). The refined high energy concentrated oil was used for production raw materials and energy, the bombs and missiles manufactured weren’t large enough and even insufficient to break through the King’s Throne’s interception systems.
