Chapter 62: Reunion

Seeing her reaction so big, Xin and the others were stunned.

"A Li, what's wrong?"

Xin asked, puzzled.

"I'm fine."

Yun Li shook her head, then hurriedly asked Xin and A Yu, "You said those beastmen—are they from Heifeng Ya?"

Xin thought, brows slightly furrowed, "How would we know?"

A Yu beside her suddenly recalled something, "A Li, do you know those two Qing Rank beastmen? After all, you're the only new female in our tribe, and one of those males is a Snake Beastman."

Because he was a Snake Beastman, that Qing Rank beastman was initially mistaken by the Young Master and his group as a Youbuluo beastman.

Yun Li now was even more certain that Mu Qing and the others had come to find her.

"Do you know where they are now?"

Seeing Xin and the others exchanging puzzled looks, Yun Li hurriedly explained, "A Yu was right—I know them; if I'm not mistaken, they should be my other two beast husbands who came looking for me."

Xin showed a surprised expression, while A Yu gave a few nearby females a smug look saying, "See, I told you."

Before she could finish, a voice Yun Li knew all too well came from behind.

She rose, turned her head, and her eye sockets instantly reddened.

Mu Qing and Leng Xiu, whom she hadn't seen in a long time, stood not far away—one looked at her with guilt, the other with gentle eyes.

Yun Li couldn't hold back the sourness in her heart, she ran over and flung herself into their arms.

She had wanted to scold them both as lying deceivers, but when tears fell, the first words she spoke were her grievance and fear.

"Why did you only come now? Do you know I was terrified something would happen to you?"

The female in their arms cried into a tearful mess; Mu Qing and Leng Xiu, ignoring Ji Xuan and the others nearby, hurried to comfort their own female.

"A Li, it's our fault; we made you worry."

"It's your fault to begin with," Yun Li cried, "We agreed you'd go and return quickly, yet you all vanished without a trace."

Especially Leng Xiu—he left knowing she was pregnant, yet he stayed away so long.

Thinking of the fear and dread when she gave birth, Yun Li fiercely bit Leng Xiu's shoulder.

Mu Qing looked pained at the aggrieved Yun Li, "A Li, sorry I'm late coming back. I wasn't by your side during your pregnancy."

"I told you not to go, but you insisted. What's the use of saying this now? Do you know I even thought you died in the beast tide?"

But then, reminded by someone else about the offspring, he immediately turned his gaze to Yun Li.

"They're four wolf pups, the sole female pup looks just like you."

She said this, then glanced toward Xin and the others.

Xin and the others had already risen, seeing Yun Li finally recall her young.

Xin carried a wooden basin, leading several females over.

"Seeing your beast husbands, you forgot your young—luckily we didn't just scoop up those cute wolf pups and take them home to raise."

A Yu teased Yun Li.

Then, her gaze somewhat shy, she swept over Ji Chen and greeted Ji Xuan and Ji Chen, "Young Master, A Chen~"

That final "A Chen" carried a hint of affection, but Ji Chen just smiled, looking at the four pups in the wooden basin, "They really change day by day—A Li, you've raised them well!"

Yun Li, as if she hadn't heard Ji Chen's words, turned to Ji Xuan, "Thank you, Young Master, for bringing Mu Qing and the others over. We've just reunited as a family, with much to say at home—so we won't linger here."

Seeing Ji Xuan nod calmly, she then told Xin and the others, "Xin, I'll thank you later for looking after my young."

Xin gazed at her two beast husbands behind her; she actually had many more questions, but seeing Yun Li eager to go home, she could only give up on asking about the other two beast husbands.

After all, she also has a younger brother she wants to introduce to A Li.

"It's fine, just bring your little ones over to our place to hang out."

A Yu also quickly said, "And us, don't forget to come chat with us when you're free!"

Yun Li nodded at them, then led her two beast husbands and little ones, whom she hadn't seen in a long time, back home.

She had just gotten home when she saw Leng Xiao rushing back after hearing the news.

"A Xiao!"

Yun Li panicked, but Leng Xiu held her back, saying, "He's angry; let them fight."

He threw the pregnant A Li to a beastman; if anything really happened along the way, none of them could afford to compensate.
