Running Tests
Another One? - Increases Affinity With Undead And Related Creatures. Increases Compatibility With Techniques Related To Death And Undeath. Improves Resistance To Attacks And Environments Associated With Undeath
‘Mmh… I was hoping for something a bit more grandiose... Akin to what I got from Fanqia and Luxuli, but I suppose I must blame my lack of knowledge for this reaction of mine. I assume that anything relating to death and undeath like this is highly prized, right?’
Very much so, indeed. Also, although the language used in the description isn’t very telling of it, this boon is a rather potent one. The boosts it describes are not negligible in the least
‘I see… I was wondering about something, though. These boons that I received, I get them because I am using Five-Legged Devil Goat Physique during intercourse, yes?’
Yep, why do you ask?
‘I was just wondering what would happen if I were to master it, turn it into a physique, or even acquire the associated bloodline… Would I be getting boons faster, or would anything else happen because of it?’
Unfortunately, the boon-granting effect is completely set in stone. Actually allowing it to get stronger isn’t something I can do. THE System would zap the hell out of me if I tried to make something this powerful. I’m already surprised it allowed me to get away with even creating this technique in its current state, to be honest…
Anoteros nodded his head, taking a glance at the slumbering Jingyi, who was currently resting her head against his chest as she and her beloved master were inside a hot bath. The room was completely overtaken by steam as though it were a sauna. It was a rather odd choice, considering that the summer heat had recently begun to settle in properly.
However, following her full awakening, Jingyi’s body had grown abnormally cold–Like that of a corpse. This was obviously an effect of her awakened physique. No one with a good head on their shoulders wouldn’t be able to figure that out… But, since she seemed to be struggling to properly control it and was having trouble dealing with the situation, Edrick had brought her here.
His Headmaid had successfully adapted to her awakened self, and rather than being cold like a block of ice, her body had taken on room temperature. It was still corpse-like, but she was operating just fine despite it... So clearly, this was just a feature of her awakened traits.
She was now bearing similarities to a cadaver. She definitely wasn’t one, though. Her heart was still beating, she still breathed, and her blood flowed like normal. Her unusual body temperature did not seem to reflect on her health as it should for pretty much anyone else.
Eventually, Anoteros brought her to bed–Not hers, since it was still very much broken, and her entire room needed to be looked at due to her unconscious release of inner energies, but there were plenty of unoccupied maid rooms she could use.
This event invigorated something within Edrick. He felt like trying especially hard to acquire boons from the people of his residence, from which he hadn’t gotten any yet.
He had received a boon from Fanqia, Linmin, Hui, Luxuli, and now Jingyi. This spoke to just how much he needed to pound to receive individual-type boons. He had played with pretty much everyone inside the residence hundreds of times.
It seemed like not only did individual-type boons require a whole lot of commitment, but it was likely that the amount required per person was different…
Regardless, his attention fell on his fifth wife. Yin was the only readily available wife with whom he had already played a lot, but who hadn’t yet yielded a boon. Thus, the patriarch decided to focus on her at the moment.
Yin was very happy about that. After all, for her, it wasn’t just pleasure–It was training with how hard Anoteros went on her during the lovemaking.
One of such instances of rough affection left Yin quite worn out, as it had involved some especially rough activities that even her tough and durable body wasn’t capable of enduring in full.
Since Edrick came out of it brimming with excess energy due to his usage of Five-Legged Devil Goat Physique, he decided to head to a training room, where he tested the transformations he had acquired from assimilating the True Champion Of Eltysia Bloodline. It wasn’t his first time doing so, but he wasn’t anywhere near as proficient at using them as he was with his sasquatch transformation.
First, he began with the Underwood Elf Champion form. This was the one he was most familiar with out of the bunch. He had even used it during his fight against the Blutgar.
Overall, the forms didn’t really have downsides. They maintained his strong points and only brought about improvements to some specific physical capabilities, alongside empowering the special abilities he had acquired in relation to these forms.
What little they took away or ‘downgraded’ wasn’t noticeable enough to be worth mentioning. The biggest change was the body type modifications.
Anoteros remained somewhat recognisable, although to varying extents depending on the form… But with the elven forms, for example, he gained a leaner build, and grew in height, making him look much more slender overall compared to normal.
Ever since his size growth, the Underwood Elf Champion form no longer just bumped his height to two meters and twenty-five centimeters, but two meters and thirty centimeters.
Apart from this, this particular form remained much the same as when he had first used it back then…
The truly interesting stuff lay in the other forms.
The Underblood Elf Champion form gave him the same height boost, but it didn’t truly improve anything in particular about his body, or ‘stats’ as the system would put it…
Edrick’s body turned red, similar to that of Crimonia, but a darker hue of crimson. His hair remained dark, but became longer, and he felt strangely… Aware of the blood flowing throughout his veins.
He hadn’t yet figured out what the so-called blood rituals and body marks were all about, though. So the true extent of this form was not yet known to him.
Of course, like with his sasquatch transformation, he could only change his form partially, allowing him to take on the red skin and such, but not shift his actual body, retaining his typical body type.
His wives weren’t the biggest fans of him using another form during marital activities, as they were more used to his normal looks. It also made his other form feel more foreign, but in this way, he could more easily introduce some novelty without actually modifying his looks too much.
It also helped figure out how to use the special abilities whilst not transformed at all, as it was sort of a middle-ground.
‘Let’s switch to the next one…’
