Chapter 1: First Arrival on the Origin Continent
Within the dark, profound Passage of Reincarnation.
“Finally, I see the end.” Inside the Star Tower, Luo Feng gazed far off at the luminous end of the Passage of Reincarnation; with his Eternal True God-level power, he could already see that vast, thriving world.
“Master, we’ve finally arrived at the Origin Continent.” The Jie Shou Mo Luo Sa was also excited.
“Mm, we’re finally here.” Luo Feng smiled.
In that region of the Primordial Universe, the two of them had long been utterly invincible, and had grown too lonely for too long.
Luo Feng looked at Mo Luo Sa and said solemnly: “Once we enter the Origin Continent, you must not reveal any information about being a Jie Shou. There are countless beings stronger than us here. If you expose it, we won’t be able to escape.”
“Rest assured, Master—I’d rather die than reveal any Jie Shou information!” Mo Luo Sa said.
Luo Feng nodded: “Both you and I have Perfect Divine Bodies. Even if we die, a single drop of blood can restore us. But if our Jie Shou identity is exposed and targeted by some terrifying beings of the Origin Continent, they’ll track down every drop of our blood and annihilate us completely.”
Mo Luo Sa nodded.
One of the Three Inheritances of the Duan Dong River Line, the “Immortal River,” if mastered, allows one to resurrect from a single drop of blood.
Both Luo Feng and the Jie Shou Mo Luo Sa possess Perfect Divine Bodies, reaching the 100,000-fold life tier; their lives possess countless astonishing qualities—they can sever their life aura, rendering aura-locking ineffective; they can obscure fate’s threads and even transform endlessly without flaw.
They need not cultivate the “Immortal River”—a single hair or drop of blood alone can allow them to resurrect.
“The waters of the Origin Continent are unfathomably deep,” Luo Feng said solemnly. “Over countless eons, only one Jie Shou has survived—the one in Tianmu Kingdom. All others are dead.”
Luo Feng was full of anticipation for the Origin Continent, yet he also knew it was extremely dangerous.
His Master, Mountain Master, and the Third Generation Patriarch of the Duan Dong River Line were both Divine King-level beings—but the Third Generation Patriarch was utterly dead! Even his Master, Mountain Master, was hunted into the Sea of Universes!
“All the other Jie Shou are dead?” Mo Luo Sa was startled. “They all had Perfect Divine Bodies—extremely strong survival abilities.”
He himself was a Jie Shou and knew well how many survival techniques existed.
“All dead,” Luo Feng nodded. Freed from the Supreme Rule’s restrictions, he had already absorbed vast amounts of inheritance knowledge from the Duan Dong River Line and the Jin World Line within the Passage of Reincarnation—and thus learned some hidden truths of the Origin Continent.
Mountain Master feared Luo Feng would die before growing strong, so he had revealed all forbidden knowledge.
The Duan Dong River Line passes its teachings to only one successor, and always warns them of the Origin Continent’s dangers.
“Jie Shou are born with mastery over the Path of Destruction. When they grow, they become a cataclysm. Any faction on the Origin Continent that discovers one will eliminate it immediately,” Luo Feng said. “The Jie Shou in Tianmu Kingdom survives partly because it was already at its peak when exposed, making it hard to deal with. And partly because it has a master who controls it, preventing wanton destruction—so the various factions tolerate its existence.”
“I have a master too,” Mo Luo Sa quickly said.
Luo Feng smiled: “Having a master isn’t enough—you must be strong enough. Otherwise, those ancient beings won’t mind crushing you like an insect.”
“Whether you or I, we’re still very weak,” Luo Feng gazed far out at the outside world. “We’re only Eternal True Gods. We must hold reverence.”
“Yes,” Mo Luo Sa immediately replied.
Under soul enslavement, Mo Luo Sa would never defy Luo Feng’s orders, even if it meant death.
As a Jie Shou, destruction and consumption were their greatest pleasures—and fastest path to growth.
But after the Jie Shou cataclysm in the Primordial Universe region, under Luo Feng’s orders, Mo Luo Sa had not consumed a single small universe again, relying only on absorbing chaotic energy to grow slowly, enduring countless eons to reach the Eternal True God tier.
Even though Luo Feng could already see the end of the Passage of Reincarnation from afar, the Star Tower still flew for a long while before truly arriving.
Whoosh!
The Star Tower burst out of the Passage of Reincarnation and entered a dark, boundless land. Vast energy condensed into faint mist, shrouding heaven and earth in obscurity.
The Passage of Reincarnation behind them had vanished. Luo Feng immediately recalled the Star Tower, and together with Mo Luo Sa, appeared upon the boundless land.
At this moment, Luo Feng’s hair had grown much longer, and a pair of dark-golden horns had sprouted on his forehead; his appearance had subtly changed. Mo Luo Sa still looked like a simple, loyal guardian—his skin silver-gray, slightly ugly but earnest.
“Though I destroyed the Small Universe of Zi Yue Ancestor, he still lives. He knows well that when I first became a True God, my Small Universe already had a diameter of one billion light-years,” Luo Feng thought silently. “To have such a vast Small Universe at the moment of becoming a True God—that’s inconceivable. It could easily draw the attention of powerful beings.”
“Zi Yue Ancestor is only a Void True God—insignificant. He probably can’t contact any powerful beings. But I’ll still be cautious,” Luo Feng knew well: one moment of carelessness could become an eternal regret.
Give no enemy any chance.
With his Perfect Divine Body, he could alter his aura and appearance—Zi Yue Ancestor himself couldn’t recognize him. How much less could other elites on the Origin Continent, who had never seen him before?
“Master, look!” Mo Luo Sa stared in shock at the night sky.
Luo Feng also looked up at the night sky.
The night sky of the Origin Continent was vast and profound, glittering with countless stars.
Countless stars in the sky were incredibly distant from the earth, some large, some small. Among them, certain colossal stars—even across countless layers of spacetime—still radiated an aura that made Luo Feng’s heart tremble.
“Life born on the Origin Continent usually becomes a True God,” Luo Feng gazed upward. “Their Small Universes manifest deep within the night sky—each star is a Small Universe!”
“True Gods, Void True Gods, Eternal True Gods, Chaos Dominators, Divine Kings—all their Small Universes reside in the starry sky, hence the brilliance of the stars,” Luo Feng pointed to several stars radiating terrifying auras. “The stars with the most terrifying auras belong to the Divine Kings.”
“So all those countless Small Universes are in the night sky?” Mo Luo Sa stared, his mouth watering. If he could devour them all, his growth rate would skyrocket. Luo Feng glanced at him.
Mo Luo Sa immediately grinned with innocent simplicity.
“Look at these countless Small Universes—you understand just how deep the waters of the Origin Continent are. We’re just two tiny fish.” Luo Feng gazed at the starry sky. “If one day a massive star falls, it means a powerful being has died.”
Mo Luo Sa understood: “Watching the stars in the night sky, one can tell which elites are alive and which are dead.”
“But you don’t even know which stars correspond to which beings,” Luo Feng said, no longer gazing at the stars, but instead calming his mind to carefully sense the Origin Continent’s space, time, and all manner of law fluctuations.
“The stability of space is terrifying!” Luo Feng extended his right hand; a dark vortex appeared in his palm, tearing and destroying, causing faint ripples in space. “Space is like an endless ocean—my power can only stir a few ripples.”
Luo Feng sensed the flow of time, comparing it with the time flow sensed by his Divine Power avatar back home.
“Here, time flows slowly—one second here equals 10,081 seconds in the Primordial Universe,” Luo Feng surveyed the surroundings. The land was boundless, yet he could sense the fluctuations of heaven and earth’s laws.
“The Chaotic Laws feel incredibly clear!” Luo Feng’s eyes sparkled with delight. “So clear!”
Back home, perceiving the laws was like gazing through layers of mist—vague and indistinct.
!.
On the Origin Continent, the mist had vanished—it was like observing up close! This greatly reduced the difficulty of comprehending the laws. The Origin Continent also produced stronger beings more easily.
“If I had come to the Origin Continent as a True God, I would have reached Eternal True God much faster,” Luo Feng thought.
Below True God, the Primordial Universe region is better for cultivation.
Above True God, the Origin Continent is far superior.
Even with Luo Feng’s talent, he had to remain in his home realm until the Primordial Universe’s great destruction, studying the Jie Shou’s Path of Destruction, the Primordial Universe’s destruction and rebirth, before finally comprehending the Origin of Birth and Death and ascending to Eternal True God.
Of course, Luo Feng spent so long not only because the laws were too vague in the Primordial Universe region, making cultivation inefficient, but also because comprehending the Origin of the Laws is extremely difficult!
Like the Primordial Ancestor, or the Eastern Emperor Ancestor and Zi Yue Ancestor, who cultivated for countless eons—all remained Void True Gods.
“Master, where do we go next?” Mo Luo Sa looked around. “Also, I’ve carefully sensed the surroundings—I didn’t detect the Primordial Ancestor.”
“After passing through the Passage of Reincarnation to reach the Origin Continent, you may appear anywhere on the continent,” Luo Feng said.
Luo Feng carefully scanned the surroundings; his gaze pierced through layers of space, reaching far into the distance.
On this boundless land, there were giant worm-like beasts lurking deep underground, divine birds soaring high in the night sky, a cautious team of True Gods exploring, and a stealthy flying vessel gliding away.
Luo Feng observed: “Within my observation range, I’ve detected roughly thousands of beasts, a team of twelve True Gods, and one lone Void True God.”
“That one—this is the first native cultivator I’ll contact upon arriving on the Origin Continent,” Luo Feng gazed far off at the flying vessel.
……
The flying vessel concealed its presence, gliding silently through the air.
Inside stood a tall man with a sharp tail, clad in dark green armor, his eyes glowing with You light as he observed the outside.
“I almost lost my life this time!” Mo Yu Hu piloted the vessel, concealing his aura, yet a gleam of excitement shone on his brow. “But the intel was right—I finally found the treasure! Mo Yu Hu has made a fortune! With this treasure, my three children can receive excellent cultivation guidance.”
“Perhaps… I can even get my eldest, the most talented, to become a disciple of an Eternal True God?” Mo Yu Hu’s heart burned with longing.
On the Origin Continent, elites are countless and hierarchy is rigid. The master-disciple bond surpasses even blood ties—children may be born from fleeting passion, but when a master accepts a disciple here, he usually trains them, provides resources, and secures their future…
The importance of a master to a disciple is unimaginable!
“Even if I can’t make them disciples of an Eternal True God, at least my three children can learn powerful inheritances,” Mo Yu Hu thought. His wife had died long ago; his three children were all he cared about in this world.
The Origin Continent gathered countless races of cultivators; many didn’t care about their offspring’s fate—but Mo Yu Hu cared deeply!
As a Void True God, his lifespan was infinite. Aside from his own cultivation, his only concern was his three children.
“Soon—we’ll reach Huyang City in ten days,” Mo Yu Hu thought, carefully piloting the vessel, avoiding dangerous zones.
Suddenly—
Mo Yu Hu felt an irresistible force envelop him. The flying vessel became like a leaf in a cosmic whirlpool, sinking into it, shrinking smaller and smaller!
“No!” Mo Yu Hu’s heart turned cold. His vessel couldn’t escape the terrifying spatial vortex—it could only sink deeper.
Finally, the vessel fell into the deepest core of the vortex—inside a colossal palm, its lines resembling rivers and ravines.
Luo Feng hadn’t moved from his spot—he merely controlled space, shrinking the space around the distant vessel and gently drawing it into his palm. Mo Luo Sa watched curiously: “Master, you caught that vessel?”
“First, ask for directions,” Luo Feng observed the lifeforms within the vessel.
