Chapter 272: Volume Six: Departure, Beyond the Origin World (End of This Volume)
The Silver Galaxy Divine Nation, capital city.
“Come on, pour the wine! Gui Xu, where’s the wine gone?” Heihuo Mo Zhu shouted.
“I barely earned these three jugs of fine wine after a major achievement. You all drank an entire jug in one sitting.” Gui Xu Di Jun sighed, “This is wine brewed from rare treasures of the Dream Realm.”
“Don’t be stingy, bring it out,” Wu Xin Shen Wang urged from beside him.
Yun Tian Shen Wang watched the scene with a smile.
“The wine is excellent,” Da Zizai Zun Zhu also sighed contentedly.
“Fine, fine, fine—I’ll just drink them all today.” Gui Xu Di Jun reluctantly pulled out another jug of wine; Wu Xin Shen Wang snatched it first and began pouring.
The members of the Reincarnation Pavilion had always remained low-key, but since the founding of the Silver Galaxy Divine Nation, they had all come to join—especially after Luo Feng’s identity was officially revealed, even Heihuo Mo Zhu came of his own accord.
Who doesn’t wish to live openly and freely in the light, rather than hiding in darkness?
In the capital of the Silver Galaxy Divine Nation, even if the Di Jun and Jun Zhu had ten times the courage, they wouldn’t dare act recklessly.
“Tell me, how did Feng Du have such sharp eyesight? He invited us into the Reincarnation Pavilion when the State Lord was still in the Chaos Realm.” Heihuo Mo Zhu sighed.
“The State Lord’s rise has been astonishing—he was still in the Chaos Realm back then, and now he’s one of the peak beings of the Origin Continent.” Wu Xin Shen Wang also sighed; now they dared not even call him by name, but addressed him as “State Lord.”
When the gap in status becomes too great, reverence naturally arises.
“The State Lord avenged me—Di Wu and Di Xi are dead, and Di Yan fled beyond the Origin Continent; he won’t live long.” Gui Xu Di Jun drank his wine, “I never dreamed I’d kill a Di Jun.”
“The days when the two imperial clans held all power are over,” Wu Xin Shen Wang also felt relieved.
Even the two imperial clans now dare not act too tyrannically! The scattered Shen Wangs across the Origin Continent all felt things had improved greatly.
…
The deaths of Di Yuan, Bai Mo, Lan Duo, Di Wu, and Di Xi—five Di Jun and Jun Zhu in succession—had deeply shaken the Origin Continent. At least the two imperial clans had been frightened, and now acted with greater caution.
“When Luo He killed me, it took two or three breaths—I still had time to activate my reincarnation secret technique,” Di Yuan said in a tavern, “But the later Di Jun and Jun Zhu reportedly didn’t even have time to reincarnate.”
“So I, the Origin Continent’s greatest sinner, actually got lucky?” Di Yuan smiled.
“Fine. Though I can’t return to the imperial clan or cultivate the Ultimate-Level Life Form again,” Di Yuan thought, “I’ve shed countless karmic ties. I can now focus more deeply on cultivation. Perhaps I’ll even awaken the Great Dao.”
Di Yuan had once been the most reckless among all Di Jun and Jun Zhu, his sins immense—but since Luo Feng’s rise, Di Yuan dared not act so boldly anymore.
“Di Wu and Di Xi are dead. Di Yan has no reason to still be alive,” Di Yuan thought. “Unless he escaped.”
“Di Yan has always been slippery.”
Di Yuan shook his head lightly.
Having lived alongside Di Yan for countless eons, he had always looked down on him—lived long, amassed resources, yet his realm remained stagnant.
But he had to admit one thing—Di Yan’s instincts were razor-sharp, and his tactics were formidable. Among the Di Jun of the Yan Feng Ancient Nation, Di Yan wasn’t the strongest, yet he was the only one who could unite other Di Jun, gaining more resources and benefits than Di Fu or Di Ming.
Now that Di Wu and Di Xi were dead, Di Yan still lived.
…
In a common large city, a regular Eternal True God was reviewing intelligence from the Yan Feng Guild.
“Luo He is the Silver Galaxy State Lord?”
The Eternal True God couldn’t believe it. “When I first noticed him, he was just an Eternal True God. Now, this Eternal True God from Hu Yang City stands on equal footing with the Founders of two nations?”
“Thank goodness, thank goodness I reincarnated quickly,” Liu Yin Hou felt relieved.
He hadn’t even rushed to breakthrough; after reincarnation, he remained at the Eternal True God stage. At his realm, even as an Eternal True God in a common large city, he had no rivals.
“I must be careful. Once I become Chaos Realm, the entire Origin Continent has so few Chaos Realm beings—I’d easily catch the Silver Galaxy State Lord’s attention.”
“Eternal True Gods are countless on the Origin Continent. Much safer.” Liu Yin Hou feared Luo He deeply.
That rise was too terrifying.
He didn’t want the Silver Galaxy State Lord to notice him—he feared accidentally revealing a flaw! If suspected, with the Silver Galaxy State Lord’s current methods, he might forcibly read his memories.
The best method was to make the Silver Galaxy State Lord never notice him.
“I’m quite impressive—I managed to provoke the Silver Galaxy State Lord in his weak days,” Liu Yin Hou thought, then stopped pondering and continued living his carefree Eternal True God life in this ordinary large city.
…
“In my homeland, the famed Silver Galaxy Founder. Now, on the Origin Continent, he stands equal to the Founders of the two nations.”
Dong Di, gathering intelligence, sighed, “I, this so-called Dong Di Founder, only crossed the critical threshold to Eternal True God because Luo Feng gifted me a legacy and resources.”
Becoming an Eternal True God without resources was far too difficult.
Among the human race, many who entered the Origin Continent through the Reincarnation Cycle—even with top-tier cultivation resources—mostly remained stuck at the Void True God stage.
“According to Luo Feng, Zi Yue must have died long ago.”
Dong Di also sighed.
He believed it—given the Silver Galaxy Founder’s judgment of karmic ties, if he confirmed Zi Yue was dead, then she was truly dead.
In the blink of an eye, three more cycles passed.
“The Nine Extinction Realms is too extreme, too mad. But it does aid in comprehending the ‘Destruction Primordial Dao.’” Luo Feng hadn’t gone mad during his cultivation.
He had already accumulated profound mastery on the Destruction path, had unlocked multiple Ultimate-Level secret arts, and possessed a Destruction Demon clone.
He had even fused the ‘Life-Death Dao,’ making it easy to navigate the dangers of practicing the Nine Extinction Realms.
“Though I dislike such madness, it helped me understand what the ‘Destruction Path’ at the Hunyuan level truly is.”
As a Perfect-Level legacy, it offered no explanations for foundational Dao insights, assuming these were easily understood.
The First Realm, ‘The Realm of Glimpsing the Dao,’ involves perceiving the memories imprinted upon the Origin World’s ‘Destruction Dao.’ These imprinted memories… were in fact the most intense destruction memories accumulated over the Origin World’s long history.
They included the Origin World’s own repeated great destructions, the annihilation scenes of the Jie Shou, the self-inflicted world-ending acts of cultivators, and even higher-level destruction scenes recorded by the Origin World from within the Hunyuan space…
The imprinted memories varied in depth—the deeper the memory, the more terrifying.
Some destruction memories carried extreme contamination, twisting the spirit; Luo Feng trembled inwardly upon witnessing certain higher-level destruction scenes.
“From the first realm, the practitioner gains a vague impression of the ‘Hunyuan-level Destruction Path.’ The ‘Realm of Glimpsing the Dao’ means glimpsing the ‘Hunyuan-level Dao.’” Luo Feng understood—the creator’s ambition was immense, clearly hoping future generations could use the Nine Extinction Realms to break free from their cage, at least becoming a World-Level Hunyuan Life.
Of course, the outcome proved otherwise.
Such a terrifying legacy had instead hindered successors from forging their own paths. Thus, the Infinite Space now retained only the first five realms for exchange.
“My progress has been slow, and I have no resources left—I must leave the Origin World.” Luo Feng gazed outward. Even the ordinary auxiliary item he’d long consumed—Hunyuan Crystals—he could no longer afford.
Since his life force reached the Divine Emperor Early Stage, he had consumed three hundred Hunyuan Crystals per cycle. Such expenditure was beyond his means. Recently, he had stopped using any treasures in cultivation—efficiency had dropped sharply.
“Huh.”
Luo Feng took a step and left Hu Yang City, arriving at the Di Chu Palace in Chu Du.
Inside the Di Chu Palace.
“Master.” Luo Feng saw his master, Di Chu.
“Luo Feng?” Di Chu smiled at his disciple. “You’re preparing to leave?”
“Yes.”
Luo Feng nodded. “Beyond the Origin World, I’ll encounter countless world-class experts, exchange wisdom with other cultivators, and access far greater resources—all of which will greatly aid my cultivation. Master, are you certain you won’t come with me?”
“I won’t go,” Di Chu shook his head. “Beyond the Origin World, my strength is bottom-tier—I’d only hold you back.”
“I plan to cultivate until the Origin World nears its end, then venture out,” Di Chu laughed. “Then, even if I die out there, I won’t regret it.”
No error in any single word or line!
Luo Feng didn’t press further.
He himself was only at the Divine Emperor Early Stage, and even his weapons and secret treasures were inferior to many outside. At this point, he couldn’t help his master at all.
“Go forth and thrive. When the time comes, I’ll likely need your protection,” Di Chu smiled.
“Yes,” Luo Feng nodded. “Then I take my leave.”
“Go. Focus on cultivation. Don’t overthink,” Di Chu encouraged.
…
Luo Feng met Yuan Zu, the Chaos City Master, and Mo Luo Sa.
“I’m leaving for beyond the Origin World, though I’ll keep a clone behind on the Origin Continent,” Luo Feng said. “But while I’m out, I must focus entirely—my clone here will mostly be in seclusion.”
“If anything important happens, the three of you can send me a message.”
“I’ll receive all your messages. But during seclusion, I won’t respond to anything else,” Luo Feng said.
“Yuan Zu, Master—I entrust the Silver Galaxy Divine Nation and the Dao River Sect to you. Mo Luo Sa’s nature is unruly—you two must keep him in check.”
“I’m very well-behaved,” Mo Luo Sa glared.
“Rest assured, leave it to us,” Yuan Zu and the Chaos City Master nodded.
Luo Feng gave Mo Luo Sa a wry smile.
If he went into seclusion and left no oversight, who knew how much trouble Mo Luo Sa would cause?
“I’m going into seclusion,” Luo Feng’s clone turned and walked into the inner chamber of his cave, entering the Star Tower.
This was the norm for the Four Founders—Di Chu, Dong Ji Yu, and Di Qing!
Most of the time, they remained in seclusion.
Occasionally, they emerged to relax.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
Luo Feng and Di Qing’s figures streaked across the sky, flying toward a remote region of the Tianji Ice Plain, where a valley carved from ice held a dark, deep pool.
This dark pool was the Origin Continent’s teleportation gateway.
“Luo He, Di Qing,” a figure sat cross-legged beside the pool—Di Fu. Now he rose, smiling at the two.
“Di Fu,” Luo Feng nodded with a smile.
He held affection for Di Fu—whenever Di Yan tried to suppress him, Di Fu had always stood by his side.
“Di Fu, you’ve been staying here all this time?” Di Qing guessed his clansman’s intent.
“Beyond the Origin World, dangers abound—I wish to join you two in exploring,” Di Fu said.
Di Qing slightly frowned.
Di Fu’s strength is still too weak; even if we take him along, he’s only fit for running errands.
“If you want to come, I have no objection,” Di Qing said, for they were of the same clan, and over long ages some bond had formed. He turned to Luo Feng: “But we should still ask Young Master Luo He’s opinion.”
Di Fu looked at Luo Feng—he had stood by Luo Feng, openly and covertly, all these years, all for this moment.
“If Brother Di Qing has no objection, I certainly don’t either,” Luo Feng smiled.
Di Fu’s face lit up with joy.
Di Qing nodded, thoughtful. “Since we’re taking Di Fu, let’s bring Di Ming along too. Among our Yan Feng Ancient Kingdom’s imperial clan, only these two are worth cultivating.”
“Di Ming’s strength surpasses mine. On the path of Hunsuan bloodline, he has already touched the threshold of Divine Emperor,” Di Fu added.
“If Di Ming is willing, then let him come too,” Luo Feng said, for he held goodwill toward Di Ming and had no objection.
Hearing Luo Feng’s approval, Di Qing sent a mental message to Di Ming.
Soon—
A flash of light appeared in the valley: it was Di Ming.
“I’ve discussed it with Young Master Luo He—we’re taking both you and Di Fu,” Di Qing said.
“Thank you, Young Master Luo He,” Di Ming replied with deep gratitude. Though proud and solitary, he knew well that his strength was utterly ordinary beyond the Source World.
“When Di Ming once gifted me the painting ‘Map of Catastrophe Beasts,’ it greatly aided my cultivation. I have yet to thank him,” Luo Feng smiled and nodded.
Di Fu, standing nearby, was also in high spirits.
At least he wasn’t the only weak one—now Di Ming had come too.
Di Qing nodded: “Then let’s depart now.”
An invisible force enveloped the four of them, and they flew together into the dark pool. Di Qing had long possessed the Hunsuan space imprint of the Jiuhe Sacred Realm and instantly locked onto its distant location.
Whoosh!
The dark pool shimmered with shifting light—the four of them, Di Qing, Luo Feng, Di Fu, and Di Ming, were instantly transported beyond the Source World, heading straight for the Jiuhe Sacred Realm.
