Chapter 130: Exploring the Strange Light

Ji Chen looked at the strange light in the sky, his eyes firm, a fearless smile on his lips.

The chattering advice of the surrounding Ability Users was like the buzzing of annoying flies, but he remained completely unmoved.

However, as he searched, he discovered that things were not simple.

Just then, he saw a black shadow flash by in the corner of the library.

He immediately became alert, chasing in that direction, shouting, "Who is it? Stop right there!" Ji Chen narrowed his eyes; the quiet of the library made him feel uneasy, like the calm before a storm.

Those damn documents had vanished into thin air, not even leaving a shadow.

A nameless fire burned in his heart; this feeling was as frustrating as someone using cheats in a game.

"Messing with me? I refuse to believe in this evil!" Ji Chen sneered, a powerful wave of Supernatural Ability erupting from him, causing the entire library to tremble slightly.

The books on the shelves rustled, as if afraid of his power.

The surrounding air became heavy, an invisible pressure enveloping the entire space.

"Boom!" With a loud noise, an energy barrier deep in the library flashed with dazzling light, as if guarding some secret.

This barrier was clearly set up by someone on purpose to hide the information about the strange light.

"Heh, minor tricks, daring to show off!" Ji Chen curled his lips in disdain, his hands beginning to form seals rapidly.

Following his movements, the surrounding Supernatural energy surged crazily, forming a massive energy vortex.

This vortex radiated a suffocating pressure, as if it were about to swallow everything.

"Break!" Ji Chen roared, the energy vortex slamming fiercely into the barrier.

The barrier trembled violently, its light flickering uncertainly, as if it would shatter at any moment.

"Crack... crack..." Cracks appeared on the barrier, spreading like a spiderweb.

"Break for me!" Ji Chen exerted more force, the energy vortex spinning even more crazily.

"Boom!" With a loud noise, the barrier finally couldn't withstand the powerful pressure and shattered with a crash.

Ji Chen's lips curled slightly, revealing a triumphant smile.

He strode through the shattered barrier and walked toward the depths of the library, like a king who had conquered everything.

Deep in the library, it was pitch black, one couldn't see their own fingers.

Ji Chen advanced cautiously, strange sounds reaching his ears, like the sound of machinery operating.

Footsteps echoed in the silent library, getting closer and closer.

He rushed toward the bookshelf and grabbed a book from the very top.

The pages turned into flying ash, drifting in the air.
