Chapter 143: Rune Danger

The intense light slammed into Ji Chen, the feeling like being electrocuted by ten thousand volts, his entire person instantly losing control, flying backward like a kite with a broken string.

Ji Chen stood steadily in place, his entire body radiating an awe-inspiring aura.

"Is it over..." a slight voice came from not far away.

Ceng Yue's tense pretty face finally had a hint of loosening. She looked at Ji Chen, the worry in her eyes fading, replaced by a hint of hard-to-detect charm and worship.

Her cold lips curled slightly, although the amplitude was small, it was enough for Ji Chen to feel the excitement in her heart.
