Chapter 109: The Strengthened Pikachu, an Overwhelming Victory!

Such a test was easily completed by Ash, with no pressure at all.

"Then come with me now; I'll take you to the battlefield!"

Ayi decided to see just how strong Ash was.

Seeing the interaction between Ash and Xiaoxia, he felt displeased; after finally meeting such a pretty girl, she outright rejected him, and even his sister stepping in to persuade her did no good.

Then let's prove ourselves on the field; this time I must defeat this challenger, with an unprecedented intensity.

The Yuzu Gym and the battlefield are separate; the battlefield stands on a rock, surrounded by stone pillars, and the challenge rule here is to battle using Pokémon of the same type.

The only way in and out is by riding that gently drifting hot air balloon, adding a touch of mystery and anticipation to each battle.

Xiaoxia was currently on the hot air balloon, her gaze locked onto the battlefield below, her eyes always on Ash.

The first battle saw Pikachu take the field voluntarily; after fighting Kenan's Dragonair, it gained new insight and was in a fiery state.

Now it goes out to set an example for the partners behind it.

"My first Pokémon is Pikachu."

Ash followed Pikachu's lead.

Ayi smiled slightly, but couldn't let himself be too happy.

The opponent actually sent out a Pikachu; he happened to have an Electabuzz that specializes against Electric-type Pokémon.

"Come out, Electabuzz!"

A sturdy Electabuzz appeared on the battlefield, its eyes full of fighting desire.

Seeing Ayi's uncontainable smile, Ash instantly understood that he couldn't use Electric-type moves against this Electabuzz.

"Pikachu, return!"

He returned without even fighting; does he know this battle is a sure loss?

Ayi watched the returning Pikachu.

All the spectators watched the returning Pikachu; it turned out Ash had Pikachu retreat not to switch Pokémon, but to have it take off the Weight Ring it was wearing.

【Xiba: It's over, Pikachu is getting serious!】

【Ma Zhishi: A Pikachu without the Weight Ring is terrifying; this battle needs no further comment!】

"Even with those things, it's......"

Before he could finish speaking, Ayi heard the sound of Pikachu shedding its Weight Ring and dropping it to the ground.

Boom!

One could even feel the vibration.

Ayi's face instantly turned grave, and he felt a bad omen.

Pikachu returned to the battlefield, its body now lighter.

"Match start!"

With the referee's command, the battle officially began.

"Flash!"

Ash looked at Pikachu and shouted loudly.

"We'll use Flash too."

As soon as Ayi finished speaking, Pikachu shot out like a fired cannonball, with a whoosh; its speed was such that only a fleeting shadow of its launch could be seen.

The next instant, Pikachu appeared before Electabuzz.

Electabuzz clearly hadn't had time to react before it faced Pikachu's fierce impact.

With a booming crash, Pikachu, like a ferocious beast, slammed Electabuzz away; it rolled across the ground for a distance before barely stopping at the cliff's edge, not falling off.

Electabuzz lost its ability to battle.

Everyone watching this scene was instantly stunned.

No one expected Pikachu to defeat Electabuzz in one hit with the plain Flash move.

Ayi stared blankly at the fallen Electabuzz, dumbfounded; he had thought his Electabuzz could easily handle Pikachu's attack, but now it was the reverse—Pikachu handled Electabuzz with ease.

Is Pikachu's Flash really that strong?

Not only is it fast, but the damage it deals is also high.

Everyone looked at the Weight Ring Pikachu had taken off; it seemed they should give their own Pokémon a few Weight Rings, since Pikachu trained so hard with it, this thing must be very useful.

【Kenan: Pikachu's speed has increased again!】

【Xiba: After battling Kenan from the Black World, Pikachu seems to have grown stronger; even without Wave Guidance, it reaches this speed—Pikachu's potential is truly high.】

【Xiaomao: Black Ash was still holding back, controlling his force; otherwise Electabuzz would have been blown away.】

【Ash: I feel it's hard to pull off such a fighting style.】

【Da Ye: Of course it's hard; Black Ash has been training Pikachu from the start, possibly practicing that Flash many times over.】

Given Black Ash's personality, that's indeed the case; he himself endures the Water Gun of mosquito-incense tadpoles.

Therefore Black Ash and Pikachu have become this strong; everyone thinks it's deserved, because both Black Ash and Pikachu train very hard and in a targeted way.

Immediately the second match began, with Ash sending out Squirtle.

Ayi then sent out Starmie; likewise, his Starmie has a counter, having learned Thunderbolt specifically to deal with Water-type Pokémon.

I don't believe Squirtle can fight as fiercely as Pikachu; just look at its build—you can tell it lacks that speed.

It looks certain...... Xiaoxia still understands Squirtle's strength; after training together with her own Pokémon, although it doesn't attack as aggressively as during the Wartortle era, its move accuracy is exceptionally high.

Moreover, Squirtle will use Hydro Pump on its own initiative.

"Squirtle, use Water Gun!"

"Thunderbolt!"

Squirtle raised its cannon, two turbulent streams of water converged at the muzzle, and a surging water column blasted out from the barrel with a boom!

Bang!

The Gem Star was mercilessly blown back by the Water Gun.

Facing Wartortle's water column like a bursting flood, the Gem Star appeared powerless, continually retreating, completely unable to resist, let alone using 100,000 Volts to counter.

The surging water flow knocked the Gem Star down.

What kind of Poké Balls does this guy have?

All so perverted!

The spectators thought, or maybe the Gym Leader is too weak?

Wartortle secured this victory.

Xiaoxia looked at Ash with a bright smile, not really worried about Ash's battles; even the Elite Four Kenan could not easily defeat Ash, let alone the Gym Leader of the Orange Islands.

As the referee announced the result, Ash obtained the Wheel Badge.

Ah Yi sighed, nowhere near Ash's level; in battle, he was even brutally beaten by Ash, having no power to fight back.
