Chapter 183: Xiaomao: So I only surpass Ash in this aspect?

Dragonite, use Thunder Punch!

Xiaomao looked at Charizard and saw the Mega Evolution stone on Charizard's neck.

Recalling what Jike had told her about Charizard's strength after Mega Evolution, she jumped a level or two and directly defeated the strongest Charizard in Charizard Valley.

Its type also became Dragon plus Fire.

Now Charizard's type is only Fire and Flying, so Thunder Punch is effective against it; wait for Charizard to Mega Evolve, then use a Dragon-type move.

Dragonite has many advantages against Charizard, whether or not it Mega Evolves.

Blue electric currents crackled over Dragonite's fists like two bolts of lightning tearing the sky; its small wings on its back flapped rapidly, kicking up gusts, a small whirlwind swirling outward from its body, violently stirring the surrounding air.

With a whoosh, Dragonite shot like a blue bolt of lightning, tearing through the sky and swooping toward Charizard; its eyes burned with fighting spirit, as if it wanted to defeat its opponent in one strike.

"Dragon Claw!" Ash stretched out his hand, firmly pointing at Dragonite.

Seeing Dragonite's swift charge, Charizard showed no fear, merely letting out a soft snort; a faint tremor in its breath, a massive Dragon-type energy surged from its body and attached to its claws.

That energy seemed alive, condensing on Charizard's claws into larger, pale green talons that gleamed with a chilling light.

Charizard stood firm as a mountain, the Dragon-type energy-formed claws colliding violently with Dragonite's Thunder Punch.

The crackling electric fist wind intertwined with the icy Dragon Claw, emitting sharp tearing sounds as if trying to rip the air apart.

"Boom!"

From the point where Dragonite's and Charizard's moves collided, a tremendously strong burst of air erupted.

A flicker of ruthlessness flashed in Charizard's eyes; it suddenly increased its force, the Dragon Claw crushing Dragonite's Thunder Punch. Then, exerting strength, it slammed Dragonite back.

Dragonite traced a parabola in the air and flew out; the electricity on its fists vanished like a dying flame. Charizard remained steady in place.

From the first move, the advantage showed: Dragonite could not block Charizard's Dragon Claw with its Thunder Punch at all.

"Again Dragonite, Ash's Charizard specializes in beating Dragonite!"

Xiaomao recalled Ash from the Orange Islands, when he battled Yuki; his Charizard had defeated Yuki's Dragonite.

"We're going to lose!"

Jike knew Xiaomao's strength well and also knew Ash's strength; looking at this, even in this form Charizard's Dragon-type move is very powerful.

Xiaomao felt immense pressure; for the first time she felt pressure from a challenger Trainer.

Afterward, Dragonite and Charizard continued to clash; Charizard completely held the upper hand, overwhelming Dragonite with absolute advantage.

It has learned many moves; now it not only has mastered its Fire-type moves to perfection, but also learned some moves from Pikachu and friends to broaden its attack range.

As for its own-type moves, Charizard trains diligently, daily clashing Water Gun with Squirtle, so it can defeat Squirtle with a type disadvantage.

Now fighting Dragonite, it's using the newly learned moves to practice a combo.

Even if Dragonite used Iron Tail against Charizard, Charizard stood its ground, letting the tail hit it without flinching, and retaliated with a deadly Dragon Pulse.

The gap was too great; even a normal Charizard could beat Dragonite... Jike gained a new understanding of Charizard's strength.

"Just as Jike said, Charizard is truly strong, but being able to fight this long is still not bad."

Xiaomao wasn't overly surprised by her loss, accepting it naturally; it's a pity Ash used Mega Evolution, so she couldn't battle Mega Charizard.

Hit squarely by Dragon Pulse, Dragonite was blasted backward, slammed into the rear wall.

With a boom, spiderweb-like cracks spread across the wall.

"Dragonite is unable to battle; Charizard wins!"

Staff announced the match result.

"The match was fantastic; this Rising Dragon Badge belongs to you!"

Xiaomao took out the badge shaped like a dragon's head, indigo in color, and gave it to Ash.

"Thanks!" Ash obtained the Rising Dragon Badge; he now has eight badges.

"Ash, now that you have eight badges, you can enter the Silver Conference!"

Xiaomao saw Ash display his badge case; this is the final badge he needed to qualify for the Silver Conference.

Those badges shouldn't be too difficult for him, right?

"I'll cheer for you!"

Xiaomao reached out her hand, eyes sparkling as she looked at Ash, her expression a little odd, seeming a bit shy.

"Hmm, thanks!" Ash shook Xiaomao's hand, smiling gently as he spoke.

Xiaomao leaned slightly toward Ash and whispered, "I'll come to the Silver Conference venue to cheer you on, go for it!"

Seeing Xiaomao's action, Xiaoxia let out a cute huff.

"Go for it!"

Jike looked at Ash; she probably should go watch the match.

Not only to accompany Xiaomao, but also her Lisa; she definitely wants to see Charizard.

【Peony: Xiaoxia has another rival!】

【Iris: Your brother-in-law is so popular with girls, Xiaoxia, hurry up!!!】

【Xiaoxia:......】

Xiaoxia didn't know what to say; back when she traveled with Ash, he was a blockhead, completely clueless.

【Cherry Blossom: Xiaoxia, don't complain about his honesty; your brother-in-law is so good, you need to seize him!】

【Xiaomao: Uh, the Black World is different.....】

【Jike: In the Black World, you and Black Satoshi should have fallen in love at first sight, and seeing Black Satoshi help drive off Team Rocket, your fondness for Black Satoshi has greatly increased; I think you in the White World feel the same way!】

【Xiaomao:.......】

【Xiaosheng: Don't learn from Brock, go learn from Xiaomao!】

Everyone looked for a moment; some hadn't reacted yet, but combining the earlier White Light Curtain scene where Brock taught Sawshark to bravely pursue Marill, they understood the meaning of that comment.

It's likely Ash is learning from the unreliable Brock.

After all, in their view, Brock isn't very reliable in this aspect.

【Ma Zhishi: Eh, you don't say, you still don't say, Black Xiaomao really surpasses Black Ash by a lot in this aspect!】

【Xiaomao: So...... I only have this aspect to show?】
