Chapter 310: Give Black Satoshi a power‑up, the Brock‑copy Big Mouth!

【A Si: This punch can't be blocked!】

【Ash: This punch is so cool!】

【Brock: Don't let my Mudkip watch sci-fi...】

【Teng Shu: Able to both fight and cooperate, this double battle makes perfect sense!】

【Cai Dou: It's just a strength gap—its own strength can beat Sun Rock and Moon Stone, and they've even trained a combined move.】

It turns out they were practicing True Qi Fist on the Giant Swamp Monster.

The long wind‑up move pairs perfectly with Great King Swallow, letting it provide cover, then using its body to leap up—so the move isn't wasted and also nullifies the floating edge of Sun Rock and Moon Stone.

Really impressive—they even thought of this!

Everyone was convinced, even thinking Black Satoshi would buff Great King Swallow like White Ash did, but it turned out their strength needs no buff.

As Black Satoshi earned the Soul Badge, the White Light Curtain shone forth.

On the road to Liuli City, Ash and friends stopped at an island, were eating at a restaurant, got into a battle with a Trainer, and happened to meet Yuan Zhi, one of the Elite Four, who invited them to his ship for a bit of fun.

Yuan Zhi invited Ash to a Pokémon battle, won easily, and after his loss Ash began to reflect.

The Team Rocket Trio turned up again to stir trouble, but Yuan Zhi's Violent Flying Dragon blasted them away.

Later Yuan Zhi told Ash that his past losses were due to overconfidence.

【Furong: The lecturing was great; I wonder if I could also lecture Black Satoshi.】

【Bo Ni: This is great—I've never seen Black Satoshi lose, and I hope Yuan Zhi of the Black World can give him a lecture.】

【Yuan Zhi: No need, really!】

【Huayue: Yuan Zhi, you're too modest—you're clearly strong, so believe in yourself!】

I almost bought it!

Yuan Zhi was speechless—these guys are terrible!

On the way to their next stop, Liuli City, Ash and friends passed through Wissel Island, planning to train there, and found what was believed extinct—cradle lilies—growing on the island.

They then learned this was the lab of Professor Zhuxing, who researches fossil Pokémon, and his lab also contained many tentacle lilies and cradle lilies.

Ash's group also witnessed an ancient feathered worm evolve into ancient armor, while the Team Rocket Trio turned up again to cause chaos, unsettling the armor's mood—yet because of them, the armor regained trust in Ash's party and the professor, and even found its favorite fruit.

In Pritsa City on Izabe Island, Misty met a formidable Trainer named Harry, whose Pokémon is the Dream Song Cactus.

Also competing in the Grand Festival, the Dream Song Cactus's strength is no joke—in the first round it used Seed Machine Gun to sketch a skull design.

In the second round it was just as valiant, ultimately facing off against Misty's Bulbasaur.

But in the end it still fell to Misty's Bulbasaur!

Misty also won her fourth badge.

Ash and friends, aiming for their eighth badge, arrived at the Valley of Destruction.

They saw a massive stone Poké Ball on the summit, said to seal a giant Psychic Doll inside.

However, the Team Rocket Trio wouldn't miss it—they rushed over to seize the stone Poké Ball, but accidentally broke the seal.

The giant Psychic Doll emerged and went on a rampage.

The old man said the legend tells of a peerless beautiful shrine maiden who lured the Psychic Doll away and then sealed it.

Ash's group then teamed up with the Team Rocket Trio.

Only Musashi's Wobbuffet drew the Psychic Doll's attention, simply because that beauty looks just like Wobbuffet.

Finally they managed to seal the Psychic Doll, sending it back where it belongs!

Continuing their journey, Ash's party trained Pokémon along the way, with Brock as a sparring partner, and unexpectedly helped his own Lotad find an admirer.

Saruyuri's Big Mouth met the Lotad and took a liking to it, but the Lotad, unlike its Trainer, wasn't interested.

【Xiaosheng: Lotad and Brock are total opposites—one desperately seeking a mate, the other completely uninterested; it's hard to imagine them ending up together.】

【Brock: ……】

【Ash: I think the same, and I even messed up my own Croconaw!!!】

Your Croconaw was always like that—it's got nothing to do with Brock!

Everyone saw clearly and cleared Brock's name.

【Misty: Lotad and Xiaoxia's Psyduck seem alike—both dopey, likely hiding their strength behind that dopey act.】

Xiaoxia's Psyduck kinda fits that, because Psyduck is truly braindead!

White Light Curtain—

Lotad doesn't like Big Mouth, but Ash's Shrimp Soldier does.

The Shrimp Soldier presses its attack on Big Mouth, but Big Mouth still prefers Lotad.

But when the Lotad evolves after touching a Water Stone in the show, Big Mouth loses interest in it and instead takes a liking to Psyduck.

Later they realized Big Mouth likes dopey Pokémon.

Isn't this Big Mouth just a copy of Brock?
