Chapter 96

"Congratulations, Ash, you've captured the Crystal Onix!"

A Gong was very delighted, his words filled with sincere congratulations, his eyes sparkling with infinite longing for artistic creation; he only gained inspiration, while Ash had captured the Crystal Onix, everyone was happy.

Ash, hearing this, showed a modest yet radiant smile: "Haha, actually I should thank you, A Gong. Without you, I might not have been able to capture the Crystal Onix."

Ash and his group tidied up and then returned.

Afterwards, Ash and his group made a quick tidy, prepared to leave A Gong's shop to continue their journey on Kumquat Island. A Gong stayed in the workshop, eager to start preparing his glass crafts.

"Ash, you can go around and enjoy the scenery of Kumquat Island first."

A Gong, while busy, said to Ash with anticipation: "Once I finish these crafts, I'll give some to you later."

"Okay."

Ash then took Xiaoxia around to see what fun things there were on Kumquat Island and could buy some to bring back.

Meanwhile, Xiao Jian stayed in the shop specifically to observe the glass-made Poké Ball.

Kumquat Island is famous for its glass crafts, because the island produces high-quality crystal; many residents are skilled glass artisans, and people from all over the world come to Kumquat Island to admire these glass artworks.

"Pikachu, does this look like you?"

Xiaoxia pointed to the glass Pikachu.

"Pika pika~ pika pika~ chu"

Before Pikachu could speak, Celebi already agreed, very much alike.

"Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander..."

Ash saw many glass Poké Ball crafts, and according to the Poké Ball he owned, he bought one of each, then mailed them home.

As for the thirty Tauros, he just bought one to serve as a representative.

Kumquat Island is indeed quite large, with vast area and varied terrain, from dense rainforests to expansive grasslands, from rugged mountains to tranquil lakes, it has everything.

Ash and Xiaoxia decided to first stroll along a small path on the island to fully enjoy the scenery.

Along the path, lush green trees stood tall, their branches and leaves shimmering with green light in the sunlight, as if they were nature's most exquisite decoration.

Beneath the trees, colorful flowers vied to bloom, intertwining to form a splendid scroll; a breeze blew, sending floral scents that made people feel refreshed and delighted.

Occasionally, a few Poké Ball would leap out from the grass, curiously observing Ash and his group, more often observing Pikachu and Celebi; among those Poké Ball were Marill, with the blue sphere on its tail swaying, and the endearing Diglett, nimbly weaving through the grass.

In the sky, flocks of cooing birds soared freely, and occasionally a few scattered feathers drifted down with the wind.

Suddenly, a droplet spider scrambled out of the bushes, looking around as if searching for a pond.

The air was filled with natural freshness; Ash looked at the harmonious scene before him and happily said, "I really want to play with Poké Ball!!!"

A breeze blew; Xiaoxia watched Ash playing with Poké Ball, took out her camera, and snapped a photo!

She greatly enjoyed the time traveling with Ash!

The audience loved the Poké Ball ecosystem on Mandarin Orange Island; each Poké Ball got along harmoniously, the surrounding environment was also great, with no chaos, and no individual trainers coming specifically to capture Poké Ball, matching the environment, giving people a very comfortable feeling.

After enjoying the beautiful scenery of Mandarin Orange Island for a while, Ash and his party returned to Ah Gong's shop in high spirits.

Inside the shop, Ah Gong was concentrating on fiddling with his glass crafts; sunlight streamed through the window onto his works, reflecting brilliant light.

Seeing Ash and his group return, Ah Gong wore a warm smile, carefully picking up a delicate glass piece from the workbench—a piece inspired by the crystal big rock snake, the translucent glass seemingly containing the power and dignity of the big rock snake, with a hint of mystery.

Ah Gong then gifted the crafted item to Ash; feeling inspired, his glass crafts have now improved by several levels.

Considering that they were about to embark on another journey, Ash decided to use the island's delivery service to send back the gift from Ah Gong and other souvenirs bought on the island to Pallet Town.

Because the wave-guiding power sensed danger, Ash and his friends did not go to the whirlpool's location, but merely came to the island where the fossil helmet is.

Upon landing on the island, Ash sensed a familiar wave pattern.

There were many such wave patterns, all around the caves and underfoot, just like when we sensed the wave patterns of those fossil Poké Balls in Big Fool Valley.

In other words, the whole island is made of fossil helmet.

"Are there fossil helmets everywhere?"

Xiao Jian looked at Ash, "This island actually has Poké Balls everywhere?"

Continuing to walk and check the situation, Ash and his group learned about the island from an uncle who had been following them.

The island truly consists of fossil helmet; if forcibly mined, it would cause unimaginable consequences.

The uncle led the way to find the team that wanted to livestream digging fossils; they ignored the uncle's warnings and even thought the uncle was making trouble for no reason.

But Ash believed the wave-guiding power sensed the wave pattern, borrowed their equipment to call Professor Da Mu, and told Professor Da Mu the situation here.

Soon, Professor Da Mu acted swiftly, having no doubt whatsoever about Ash's words; anything related to Poké Ball, he cared deeply about.

Professor Da Mu immediately called the officials, directly ordering these teams to leave the island; the Alliance officials said they would send professors and specialists to come check whether it's true, during which period outsiders must not be allowed in.

Ordered by the Alliance officials, this crisis was directly resolved!

【Brock: This crisis was solved so easily, Professor Da Mu is too amazing!】

【Ju Zi: Old Man Da Mu is an authority on researching Poké Ball, also serving as consultant for the Quartz Plateau Poké Ball Alliance; previously he was a very powerful Poké Ball, later he retired and began researching Poké Ball, many people have heard of Old Man Da Mu.】

【Xiao Jian: I've heard that Professor Da Mu is a legend in the Poké Ball world!】

【Professor Da Mu: Don't say that, I'm just an ordinary researcher!】
