Chapter 36

As he spoke, Lin Yu backhanded a punch, which also slammed into Yan's body.

Bang!

"Ugh!" Yan felt a slight pain.

But the Granite Rock defense covering his skin was also extremely powerful, barely able to block Lin Yu's terrifying punch.

Yan squeezed out a smile and, imitating Lin Yu, mocked back: "I think you're just scratching an itch for me too?"

"Oh? Is that so?"

"Of course, my Granite Rock isn't something you can break with one punch, right? Hehe!" Yan laughed triumphantly.

But just a second later, he could no longer laugh.

"What!"

"How is this possible! How could my Granite Rock...!"

Yan became terrified.

The moment after the punch hit Yan's chest just now, Lin Yu's earth attribute energy had already permeated into Yan's Granite Rock.

Any earth attribute would be absolutely countered in front of Lin Yu's Ultimate Earth. After his Ultimate Earth permeated, the quality of Yan's Granite Rock was rapidly disintegrated.

In an instant, that hard Granite Rock shattered completely!

"Laugh! Why aren't you laughing anymore?"

"Impossible!"

"Laugh for me again, damn it!!"

Bang! Boom!

"Uwahhh!"

Pfft~!

Yan's scream rang out; he was kicked flying by Lin Yu and vomited a mouthful of blood.

"Damn it!"

Yan crawled up from the ground again.

"Xie Yue, let's use our strongest attack and attack at the same time!!"

"Good!"

"Third Spirit Skill, Moon Blade, Break!"

"Third Spirit Skill, Hell Flames!"

"Go to hell!!"

Xie Yue swung his Moon Blade martial soul, and driven by his spirit skill, his speed became like a phantom, slashing straight toward him.

The Flame Lord behind Yan sprayed a beam of flame light.

The attacks of their two strongest third spirit skills arrived simultaneously.

"Heh." Lin Yu still stood calmly in place.

He raised both hands, releasing earth attribute energy from his left hand and water attribute energy from his right hand.

Simultaneously activating water and earth techniques.

"Earth Control, Earth Barrier!"

"Water Control, Water Ripple Cannon!"

A huge stone wall of earth rose from the ground, blocking Xie Yue's strongest attack.

Lin Yu's hand also simultaneously sprayed a two-meter-wide water element impact, crashing head-on into Yan's Hell Flames.

Water and fire counter each other; fire can evaporate water, and water can extinguish fire.

But when the strength and quality of the two attributes are the same, water generally suppresses fire a bit. However, it doesn't count as a counter. But if one side's strength and quality are far above the other, that is an absolute counter!

And Lin Yu's water is an extreme attribute!

Therefore, when Lin Yu's released Water Ripple Cannon collided with Yan's Hell Flames, it instantly broke through and overwhelmed it, slamming fiercely into Yan's body.

Pfft~

"Ah..." Under this blow, Yan was already severely injured.

"Holy crap! Lin Yu easily neutralized Xie Yue and Yan's strongest joint attack with a casual strike!"

"What's going on! Just how many spirit skills does this Lin Yu have!"

The surrounding core disciples were already stunned and numb.

Ghost Douluo explained in shock: "That's not a spirit skill, but absolute control over his own elemental attributes. Plus, the strength of each of Lin Yu's attributes is top-tier, so the elemental attacks he releases are comparable to spirit skills!"

"This kid is simply a monster!"

Fire Fist, Earth Barrier, Water Ripple Cannon, Wind Blade, Darkness Cage, Space Movement—these are all the moves Lin Yu has developed through Element Control that have the strongest power and effects for each attribute.

There are also a bunch of small elemental moves, but their power is very low, all below 100 years or 50 years.

But Lin Yu discovered that as his spirit power increases and his realm improves, the power and effectiveness of these elemental moves will also gradually increase.

At the beginning, Lin Yu's strongest Fire Fist only had the power equivalent to a 300-year spirit ring.

But with his spirit power increased to level 36, plus the 50% increase in attribute power from the second spirit skill.

And adding the one-thousand-year spirit ring age increase from completing the first trial of the Element God.

All of Lin Yu's elemental moves have now increased several times over; the power of his strongest Fire Fist is already equivalent to a 1500-year spirit skill.

The power of a large number of other small elemental moves has also all exceeded 100 years.

In other words, Lin Yu's casual release is equivalent to a 100-year spirit skill, and a 100-year spirit skill is equivalent to a basic attack!

This is the terrifying aspect of the first spirit skill Element Control combined with the second spirit skill Element Body!

At this moment, Xie Yue and Yan were already somewhat desperate, because they had already sensed that they couldn't beat Lin Yu.

But seeing Bibi Dong's murderous gaze outside the arena, the two gritted their teeth and charged over again with courage and fighting spirit.

"Lin Yu!!"

"Ugh-ahhh!"

Xie Yue and Yan shouted.

In the battle now, Lin Yu finally moved his feet, charging toward the two.

He no longer used elemental moves to attack, but instead engaged in a fierce close-quarters melee and slaughter with Xie Yue and Yan.

Compared to using elemental moves like spell attacks, Lin Yu preferred this kind of melee slaughter between bodies, fist-to-flesh combat.

This kind of battle makes people even more excited and blood-boiling!

Both sides engaged in a fierce melee slaughter.

Crazy fighting!

Bang! Bang!

Facing the fierce attacks of Xie Yue and Yan, Lin Yu fought more and more fiercely; not only was he not suppressed, he even suppressed both of them by himself!

"Get lost!"

Bang!

Lin Yu hammered Xie Yue to the ground with one punch, then instantly grabbed Yan's head and slammed it fiercely against the ground!

Watching Xie Yue and Yan being beaten up, all the onlookers felt deeply terrified.

"Too strong, truly too strong!"

"Lin Yu's close-quarters combat ability is actually so terrifying too!"

This short few minutes of fighting demonstrated Lin Yu's combat experience, technique, awareness, and strength to the fullest, and these were the results of the seven great elders taking turns teaching Lin Yu, as well as his own talent for battle.

Allowing Lin Yu, at less than eight years old, to possess combat ability comparable to what others have practiced for ten years.

"Is this your strength? Simply vulnerable!"

"This battle should come to an end now!"

"Fire Fist!"

Bang! Boom boom boom!

"Ahhh!!"

Xie Yue and Yan's screams finally echoed in the duel arena.

With everyone dumbfounded.

Both were finally beaten miserably, simultaneously kneeling on the ground, and finally collapsing.

Lin Yu walked step by step to Yan, looking down at him: "Kill me? I don't want to hear these words from your mouth a second time. If there is a next time, even the Pope won't be able to protect you."

Yan trembled, feeling deep fear.

"Won... Lin Yu actually really defeated Hu Liena, Xie Yue, and Yan!"

"And it was an absolute crushing beating!"

"Lin Yu defeated Hu Liena, Xie Yue, and Yan; in just one month, he really completed the Pope's first condition!"
