Chapter 10: Rose Hotel

~6 min read 1,105 words

Five years passed, and they graduated successfully from the Nuoding Chuji Hunshi Xueyuan.

Originally, given their talent, the Nuoding Academy planned to recommend them directly to a Intermediate Spirit Master Academy, and several renowned academies had even sent invitation letters, leaving them ample choice.

But Yu Xiaogang demanded Tang San reject all invitations and apply to a school named Shrek, located south of Soto City.

Tang San and Xiao Wu's relationship had long become as close as that of siblings; since Tang San chose this place, Xiao Wu naturally followed.

She pouted and said, "I don't care—do you agree or not?"

Tang San sighed helplessly and chuckled, "Fine, do as you like. But after traveling so far, aren't you tired? It's nearly noon—let's eat first, then find a hotel to stay in."

"That's more like it."

Since they had established their sibling bond, Tang San rarely defied her, always treating her like an elder brother.

Walking into a "Rose Hotel," they were instantly greeted by a strong scent of roses, a fragrant aroma that was refreshing and carried a hint of intimacy, soothing body and mind.

Tang San walked up to the counter and said, "Please give us two rooms."

The clerk behind the counter immediately stood up, glancing at Tang San, then at Xiao Wu, his eyes filled with a trace of envy: "Sir, are you certain you want two rooms?"

Tang San feigned ignorance and nodded, "What's wrong with that?"

The clerk's expression grew ambiguous: "I'm sorry, but we only have one room left."

"Only one?"

Tang San frowned on the surface, but inside he was ecstatic to the point of pain.

Having lived two lives, he had never felt anything when sleeping with Xiao Wu as a child—after all, he had the desire but no ability.

Now that they were both growing into adolescence, the thought was becoming impossible to ignore.

The clerk repeated solemnly, "Yes, only one! But rest assured, the bed is very large and wide—more than enough for two people."

As he spoke, he gave Tang San a look that could only be understood, never spoken.

Of course, Tang San still pretended not to understand.

Just as he was about to speak and book the room, Xiao Wu declared loudly, "Then one room is fine—we slept together when we were six, so what?"

Hearing this, the clerk couldn't help but give Tang San a thumbs-up, silently admiring: "Bro, you really know how to play it."

Seeing his intentions exposed, Tang San hurriedly said, "Alright, then please book us this room."

Just as the clerk was about to process the paperwork, a sudden voice interrupted him.

"Hey, that room should be mine."

Tang San and Xiao Wu turned around simultaneously and saw three people approaching the counter.

The trio consisted of one man and two women; the two girls were dressed flamboyantly, tall and slender, even slightly taller than Xiao Wu.

Their faces were identical—they were clearly twins.

The man stood about one meter eighty, looked young, even younger than the two girls, with broad shoulders, handsome features tinged with resolve, and long golden hair cascading down his back to just above his waist.

Most striking were his sinister eyes—each bore a double pupil, deep blue irises cold and flickering with malevolent light; being looked at by him felt like being sliced by a blade.

The newcomer was none other than Dai Mubai, the future leader of the Shrek Seven Devils.

The two sides became acquainted through conflict; after a bout, Dai Mubai admitted defeat even before using his martial soul.

After all, he was three years older than Tang San and possessed one additional Spirit Ring—the gap in strength between one Spirit Ring was immense.

Watching his retreating figure, Xiao Wu frowned in dissatisfaction and sniffed, "This guy is totally weird—clearly not a good person. Xiao San, when we get to Shrek Academy, don't associate with him."

Tang San smiled faintly, "Why not? I think he's actually quite decent—cold on the outside, but straightforward inside."

Hearing this, Xiao Wu retorted sharply, "Decent? I think he's utterly despicable. What good could he possibly do? 'Evil Eye White Tiger'? More like 'Lustful Tiger'!"

Tang San, hearing this, lowered his head slightly, embarrassed, and praised, "Xiao Wu, I've noticed you're learning more and more."

After the ordeal, Tang San felt weary and turned to lead Xiao Wu upstairs.

The clerk sighed sincerely, "Today's youth are truly open-minded—how could they…"

Upstairs, Xiao Wu snatched the key from Tang San's hand and walked straight into the room.

Tang San followed her inside, but suddenly Xiao Wu stopped.

His body collided into her back, instantly feeling a soft, elastic resilience.

"Didn't expect… this little girl's body is so bouncy!"

Tang San, at a loss for words, hastily fabricated an excuse.

He quickly changed the subject: "Looks like I was right—no wonder Dai Mubai brought girls here."

The room was filled with elegant vases, each holding bright red roses; the rich fragrance of roses permeated every corner, creating a mesmerizing, intoxicating atmosphere.

Xiao Wu had stopped just because she was stunned by this ambiance, her beautiful eyes brimming with enchantment.

Seeing this, Tang San deliberately said, "Xiao Wu, if you dislike this scent, I'll ask the clerk to remove the flowers."

The innocent Xiao Wu believed him and scolded, "Bro, you're so clueless—who doesn't like roses? If you're this dense, how will you ever find a wife?"

Tang San continued pretending innocence, rubbing his nose as he replied, "It's too early to talk about that now."

Entering the bedroom, both were stunned again.

Indeed, as Tang San had suspected, the room held only one large bed.

The bed took up nearly half the space and was heart-shaped.

Xiao Wu, naturally straightforward, stepped forward, picked up a rose, and sniffed it: "This room is so beautifully arranged—I'm already starting to like it. Bro, can we come here often?"

Everything carried a strong aura of intimacy, accelerating the blood.

Tang San struggled to suppress his excitement, his voice trembling yet feigning calm: "What's so good about it? We're siblings—how can we come here often? Enough. You're tired from the journey—let's get to bed."

After saying this, he pulled the bedroom curtains shut, locked the door, and his face could no longer hide his delight.

Xiao Wu instinctively tugged at her collar, a thought flashing through her mind: Could he be influenced by the hotel's atmosphere? No, impossible. What am I thinking? How could I have such a filthy thought? Though a Spirit Beast, Xiao Wu was more human than Tang San, knowing propriety and shame.
