Chapter 9: Rose Hotel
"Principal of Shrek Academy!?"
Xiao Wu and Tang San were both startled.
They had expected to meet a high-level official, but never imagined they would encounter the Principal directly!
A Spirit Saint Principal being defeated by a Soul King was not a glorious matter; if word got out, it would surely bring shame upon Flender and Shrek Academy.
"I do, this is a letter my teacher asked me to bring to you." Tang San paused for a moment, took an envelope out of his Twenty-Four Moonlit Bridges, and handed it to Flender.
Flender took it, opened it, and saw that the handwriting was indeed that of his brother, Yu Xiaogang, who had been missing for many years.
After reading it carefully, he looked at Tang San again.
"To be able to cultivate Blue Silver Grass to this extent, you are indeed a monster; you qualify to join the academy."
"Even though I am the Principal, the rules were set by me, and I cannot break them, otherwise it would be difficult to convince the masses."
"Tomorrow, go to Shrek Academy and follow the normal procedures."
Flender said.
"Yes, Principal." Tang San nodded.
Since the other party knew his teacher, he felt a sense of familiarity.
"Principal, why is that guy so powerful even though he is only a Soul King?"
"Why was he able to become a Soul King at twelve years old?"
"Why are his spirit rings fire-red?"
Tang San asked these three questions.
Although the Principal before him had been defeated, there was a reason for it.
Because in their wager, Flender was responsible for defending and resisting.
If it were a normal battle, a Spirit Saint would be very free and would not need to stand there and resist; in that case, the result would definitely be that the Spirit Saint was stronger! That was how it appeared to Tang San.
If this had been a normal battle, even if Ma Hongjun's soul skills were terrifying, if he couldn't hit the enemy, it would be useless, and he would be killed in one blow once the Spirit Saint seized the opportunity! In his view, a Spirit Saint could absolutely not be that weak! "Cough, cough, regarding this, I cannot give you a correct answer either; we can only wait for your teacher to arrive. His theories are the best on the continent, he will surely know." Flender coughed dryly to cover his embarrassment.
"But all of this must have a great deal to do with his martial soul."
"But one thing is certain: those five fire-red spirit rings are definitely not Ten Thousand Year Spirit Rings, though I don't know why they are fire-red; there is only this one case on the continent."
Flender shook his head; he wanted to know as well.
"Someone is coming this way; it's the City Guard, let's go quickly."
He did not want to deal with these people, so after notifying Tang San and Xiao Wu, he left quickly.
Tang San and Xiao Wu also hurried away.
Just after they left, a group of City Guards arrived at the scene.
But when they saw the massive crater before them, their eyes widened.
Even now, they could feel the terrifying, scorching heat remaining in the air, which made them fearful and lingeringly terrified.
"A powerful Spirit Master must have just fought here."
"They've left."
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
If they had encountered such a powerful Spirit Master, they might have been hit by one of those attacks too.
Then they would have been done for.
"Seal the scene, I am going to report to the City Lord!"
The captain said, then left.
This place was also cordoned off by a group of City Guards.
"You are so strong, even a Spirit Saint is no match for you!" On the way, Zhu Zhuqing did not hide her admiration at all as she spoke.
"It was mainly because the other party was the defending side. If it were a normal battle, a Spirit Saint wouldn't be foolish enough to just stand there and defend. In a normal battle, wanting to defeat or kill a Spirit Saint with my current ability might still be a bit difficult," Ma Hongjun said with slight humility.
Zhu Zhuqing rolled her eyes and said, "That's still very impressive; others can't even do that."
"Then what are you considering? Do you want to come with me? I'll lead you to become stronger. Once I establish Phoenix Academy, I'll make you the Vice Principal," Ma Hongjun said, seizing the opportunity.
"You're really going to establish an academy?" Zhu Zhuqing was surprised; she had previously thought he was joking.
"Yes." Ma Hongjun nodded.
"Alright, then I will cultivate with you, but I still have to go see that person." Zhu Zhuqing agreed.
"Good." Ma Hongjun smiled.
Zhu Zhuqing asked, "What is that golden stone?"
Ma Hongjun took it out from his Soul Guidance Device and said, "This is called Sheet Metal. It is very sharp and has excellent ductility, sharpness, and toughness. It is a good material for weapon refining; I will refine a weapon for you later."
"That's great." Zhu Zhuqing felt a sense of anticipation after hearing this. The two strolled through the city as the sky gradually grew dark.
During this time, they asked at various inns, and all said they only had one room left.
So they continued searching and eventually arrived at the Rose Hotel.
"Do you believe me? This hotel will still only say they have one room left," Ma Hongjun said with a mysterious smile.
"Such a large hotel, I don't believe it." Zhu Zhuqing was somewhat unconvinced.
"I want this room, get lost!"
Just as they stepped inside.
A discordant voice came from within the Rose Hotel, immediately causing Ma Hongjun and Zhu Zhuqing to pause and look over.
"Has the plot begun?" Ma Hongjun looked over.
He saw a golden-haired youth in white, holding a shapely sister pair in each arm, disdainfully scolding a man and a woman in front of him.
And standing in front of them, by the front desk, were the very same Tang San and Xiao Wu they had met in the afternoon.
"It's actually them." Zhu Zhuqing was somewhat surprised.
This world is truly small; we've met again so soon.
After all, an unpleasant incident occurred with that youth this afternoon.
"It seems we've even saved the time of going to Shrek Academy," Ma Hongjun said.
Zhu Zhuqing did not understand: "Why?"
"That blond youth, the one with the pair of sisters in his arms, might be the person you are looking for," Ma Hongjun said.
Zhu Zhuqing was stunned: "How do you know who I am looking for?"
She had not told Ma Hongjun at all.
"Intuition, I suppose," Ma Hongjun said. "My intuition is very accurate; whether it is him or not, you will know in a moment."
Zhu Zhuqing was also feeling a bit curious.
"On what grounds? We were here first!"
"If you want it, then let's spar!"
Xiao Wu said unhappily.
The blond youth Dai Mubai said disdainfully: "I don't hit women; I only sleep with women."
"Bastard, you hooligan!" Xiao Wu said angrily.
"Let me handle this!" Tang San stepped forward.
Thus, the battle between Tang San and Dai Mubai was on the verge of breaking out.
"This is the Evil-Eyed White Tiger! It really is him! The Star Luo Third Prince, Dai Mubai!"
Zhu Zhuqing's pupils constricted, her heart filled with surprise.
Looking at the tiger on the blond youth's body, it was especially familiar, and looking again at those two sisters, she was instantly very angry! This bastard, running over here to play with women! He really is a coward who only knows how to run away!
A trace of disappointment flashed in Zhu Zhuqing's eyes.
Watching this scene, Ma Hongjun revealed a satisfied smile.
This was the result he wanted.
Bang! In the end, the battle concluded with Tang San's defeat.
"You are here for Shrek Academy, right?"
Dai Mubai asked indifferently.
"That's right, how did you know? Could it be that you are too?" Tang San was stunned.
"I have long been a member of the academy. Come to think of it, after you enroll, I will be your senior. Consider it me taking care of you; I don't want this room anymore."
"Remember, if anyone bullies you at Shrek Academy, just mention my name, Dai Mubai!"
After speaking, Dai Mubai turned and left with the two sisters in his arms.
However, just as he was about to reach the doorway, his martial soul suddenly reacted, his pupils constricted, and he looked at the young woman in black tight-fitting clothes standing next to Ma Hongjun.
"It's them."
"What a coincidence."
Xiao Wu and Tang San also saw them, revealing looks of surprise.
"Truly, enemies often cross paths!" Tang San thought to himself.
