Chapter 126: The Tragic Elephant Armor Sect

At this moment, the Azure Bull Python suddenly let out a huge bull roar, as if shaking the entire the Star Dou Great Forest, even Lin Gong felt a chill of fear.

The Azure Bull Python truly lived up to being the forest emperor; with a single bull roar, the Xingdou Da Senlin Hexin Qu fell into silence, and the previously rising and falling beast cries all vanished.

The Azure Bull Python fixed its huge eyes on Lin Gong, and from its mouth came an extremely imposing voice: "Human, are you provoking me?"

Lin Gong felt his scalp tingle at those words, unable to move forward or stay where he was.

At this moment, Yang Xiong, though under great pressure, gritted his teeth and said: "Azure Bull Python senior, we didn't come to look for you; we came to find Xiao Wu."

The Azure Bull Python let out another great roar: "Human, you actually know Sister Xiao Wu; are you planning to persecute her again?"

A hint of a smile appeared on Yang Xiong's face: "Xiao Wu and I are classmates; we came to the Star Dou Great Forest just to see this classmate, rest assured, we bear no ill will toward you."

The Azure Bull Python seemed puzzled, but let out another bull roar, as if making some kind of summons.

Sure enough, after that, a huge roar echoed from afar, also radiating boundless energy.

Soon, the ground began to tremble, and a massive Titan Giant Ape burst from the forest; it stood over fifteen meters tall, its body as hard as granite, exuding great majesty.

A slender little girl sat on the Titan Giant Ape's shoulder—none other than Xiao Wu, who had fled Spirit City that day.

From afar, Xiao Wu looked at Yang Xiong with puzzlement: "Xiao Xiongzi, how did you end up in the Star Dou Great Forest?"

Yang Xiong's face darkened at the address; Xiao Wu was close friends with Ning Rongrong, and also called him Xiao Xiongzi, making Yang Xiong extremely embarrassed.

Now Yang Xiong laughed helplessly: "That day in Spirit City I thought you couldn't escape, but seeing you now I'm actually happy—do you think there's no danger at all in this forest?"

Xiao Wu beamed proudly: "Of course, who in the Star Dou Great Forest could harm me? Da Ming Er Ming is quite powerful."

Yang Xiong said: "Could you get down from the Titan Giant Ape? Speaking like that is quite uncomfortable."

Xiao Wu then looked at the Titan Giant Ape and the Azure Bull Python: "Da Ming Er Ming, this is my classmate; the two of them shouldn't hurt me."

The previously terrifying Azure Bull Python now seemed somewhat gentle, its voice a bit muffled: "Sister Xiao Wu, humans are untrustworthy; this kid doesn't look like a good person."

Yang Xiong's face darkened at those words, while Xiao Wu was nonchalant: "Da Ming, don't worry, Xiao Xiongzi may not be a good person, but he shouldn't harm me; otherwise he couldn't answer to Rong Rong."

At that moment, Yang Xiong was speechless, wondering why he himself wasn't a good person.

The Titan Giant Ape, though puzzled, used its massive palm to gently lift Xiao Wu off its back.

Yang Xiong couldn't help but roll his eyes at the Titan Giant Ape and the Azure Bull Python; these two Hundred‑thousand‑year Soul Beasts looked mighty, yet they acted like lapdogs before Xiao Wu.

Xiao Wu approached Yang Xiong, her face full of smile: "Xiao Xiongzi, how did you end up in the Star Dou Great Forest?"

Yang Xiong laughed: "Xiao Wu, didn't you forget? I was already Level 40 during the Soul Master Competition; I came to the Star Dou Great Forest to obtain Soul Rings, and I've already harvested them all."

Xiao Wu's face darkened at that: "You humans are so bad, only know how to hunt our Soul Beasts."

Yang Xiong replied helplessly: "I can't help it; didn't San Ge also hunt Soul Beasts?"

Xiao Wu quickly said: "San Ge only kills bad Soul Beasts, unlike you, Xiao Xiongzi; by the way, that old witch in Spirit City didn't get you either, right?"

Yang Xiong smiled: "At least I'm backed by the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect; Bibidong hasn't reached the point of turning hostile yet."

……

The two discussed recent updates, especially the situation of the Shrek team members.

After listening, Xiao Wu felt a bit sad: "Xiao Xiongzi, you said Uncle Sausage went back to the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect with you, and even Teacher Zhao returned to the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect?"

Yang Xiong nodded: "Oscar and Teacher Zhao are staying with me at the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect, but Oscar should soon go out to train, while Teacher Zhao stays at the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect to teach me combat skills."

A hint of displeasure showed on Xiao Wu's lips: "Only someone as rich as you would enjoy doing this."

"By the way, you're not here to look for me this time, are you? Do you have other business?"

Yang Xiong suddenly grew serious: "Xiao Wu, do you still remember Bibidong from Spirit City?"

Xiao Wu's face darkened instantly: "That woman is my greatest enemy; I'll eventually take revenge on her—what are you saying about her?"

Yang Xiong smiled: "Do you remember Hu Yanzhen of the Elephant Armor Sect? He's Bibidong's number‑one supporter."

Xiao Wu thought: "I think San Ge mentioned that big guy; he should be the grandfather of Hu Yanli we met, and he's said to be no good."

Yang Xiong nodded: "Exactly, the Elephant Armor Sect always backs Bibidong. This time, Lin Gong and I came to obtain Soul Rings and happened to see many from the Elephant Armor Sect in the Star Dou Great Forest's core area, apparently also after Soul Rings. Since they're also your enemies, I wanted to let you know."

Xiao Wu's face showed a hint of doubt: "Xiao Xiongzi, you're always so sneaky—could it be that the Elephant Armor Sect is also your enemy, and you want to use us to eliminate them?"

Yang Xiong smiled: "There's no 'borrowing your hand' business; whether it's the Elephant Armor Sect or the Spirit Hall, they're enemies of our Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect, and also your enemies—our common foes. Shouldn't we stand on the same front?"

Xiao Wu asked: "Then what do you mean?"

Yang Xiong smiled: "The Elephant Armor Sect has deployed three Soul Douluo and nine Soul Saints this time, essentially most of the sect's elites. If they all fall here, wouldn't that cut off half of Bibidong's arm?"

Xiao Wu, angry at the corner of her mouth, said: "You still claim you're not trying to use my hand to eliminate the enemy; I think you're not a good person."

Yang Xiong shook his head: "They are my enemies, also yours; moreover, their large‑scale hunt of Soul Beasts makes them enemies of your entire Soul Beast Clan."

Xiao Wu's expression turned very conflicted, shifting from anger to hatred to doubt.

Finally, after a long thought, Xiao Wu spoke: "What exactly are you thinking? You're not planning to have us act while you sit back like a fisherman, are you?"

Yang Xiong smiled: "The Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect isn't ready to directly oppose the Spirit Hall and the Elephant Armor Sect yet, but we can spend money; consider it a small favor I owe you, which I'll repay in the future."

"This is the Star Dou Great Forest; Soul Grandmasters hunting Soul Rings being attacked by Soul Beasts is normal. If the Titan Giant Ape and the Azure Bull Python strike, you could even rally many Soul Beasts to attack the Elephant Armor Sect's people. Of course, you yourself should refrain from acting, since you may still need to walk among the human world later."

Xiao Wu gritted her teeth: "Fine, I'll avenge Bibidong; since the Elephant Armor Sect is his lackey, I'll wipe them out first."

After their discussion, Xiao Wu stripped Yang Xiong of his Gold Soul Coins and even his food, and only then did she leave satisfied.

Xiao Wu muttered to the Titan Giant Ape and the Azure Bull Python; the two massive Hundred‑thousand‑year Soul Beasts hesitated at first, but upon hearing that the Elephant Armor Sect's men were Bibidong's subordinates, they had no reservations.

The two massive Hundred‑thousand‑year Soul Beasts, together with Xiao Wu, Yang Xiong, and Lin Gong, walked toward the Elephant Armor Sect's group; the Titan Giant Ape and the Azure Bull Python even muted their sounds, stealthily moving through the forest.

Yang Xiong was also surprised; given the size of the Titan Giant Ape and the Azure Bull Python, he didn't expect such behavior—truly a high‑IQ top‑tier Soul Beast.

As the party approached, Hu Yanzhen's men seemed to sense something unusual; after all, such top‑tier Soul Beasts exert strong deterrence over ordinary Soul Beasts, and the area around them fell completely silent.

Hu Yanzhen, truly a top‑tier Soul Douluo, instantly detected the anomaly: "Who are they? Could they be planning to ambush my Elephant Armor Sect?"

Hu Yanzhen summoned a massive diamond‑covered mammoth, its Soul Rings—two yellow, two purple, four black—projecting further deterrence over the surrounding forest.

Before he could speak, the Titan Giant Ape burst out of the forest, shaking the ground.

Hu Yanzhen was stunned at the sight of the Titan Giant Ape, never expecting that their Soul Beast hunt would summon the forest's king.

Hu Yanzhen seemed to want to communicate: "Respected Titan Giant Ape, we mean no provocation; please let us depart."

The others were equally tense, swiftly summoning their martial souls and Soul Rings; they all seemed very powerful and well‑trained, truly masters of the Elephant Armor Sect.

But the Titan Giant Ape completely ignored Hu Yanzhen's words, let out a roar and threw a punch straight at Hu Yanzhen; the ground seemed to split open, accompanied by endless pressure.

Hu Yanzhen's eyes widened, and he immediately unleashed the Fourth Soul Skill: Death Suppression; the massive diamond mammoth instantly emitted a tremendous force.

However, Hu Yanzhen's meager power was far too weak for the Titan Giant Ape, which, in terms of strength, had already reached the ninety‑five‑level Title Douluo rank, with especially outstanding force.

With a single strike, Hu Yanzhen was knocked completely airborne, and the others were likewise repelled by the same blow.

All members of the Elephant Armor Sect exchanged glances and, in that instant, summoned their Martial Soul True Bodies; countless diamond mammoths materialized on the spot, looking extremely ferocious.

At this moment they were somewhat angry, for this situation concerned the absorption of Soul Rings, and any disturbance could cause them to collapse.

The Elephant Armor Sect divided into two teams; some continued to guard the Soul Ring absorption, while Hu Yanzhen, accompanied by a Soul Douluo, prepared to resist the Titan Giant Ape with all his might.

But at that moment, an anomaly occurred: a blue light erupted from the shadows, like terrifying thunder, striking the members of the Elephant Armor Sect from behind.

Python snakes are the most terrifying predators in the forest; their ambush ability is dreadful, and even when they approach they are hard to detect, while their attacks are extremely swift, capable of killing with a single blow.

Especially the Azure Bull Python, as a Ten-thousand Year Soul Beast, has even more terrifying attack power; with a single strike, even if the Elephant Armor Sect members noticed the anomaly and fought desperately, several were directly hit by the Azure Bull Python's thunder.

The Elephant Armor Sect members were instantly filled with despair, never expecting even the Azure Bull Python to appear; this hunt for a Soul Beast was terribly unlucky.

The Azure Bull Python moved at lightning speed, spiraling toward a Soul Douluo; even though that Soul Douluo frantically activated the Eighth Soul Skill, the prior thunder strike had already left the body numb, and combined with the Python's terrifying strength, the Soul Douluo was torn into fragments by the Azure Bull Python.

The Titan Giant Ape seemed even more ferocious and powerful, relentlessly pursuing Hu Yanzhen and the others.

……

The assault lasted over ten minutes; the Elephant Armor Sect suffered heavy losses, with only Hu Yanzhen and a few others barely escaping, while most of the rest fell on the spot.
