Chapter 219: Expelled from the Ancestral Register

The ancestral hall of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Family.

Whenever a major event occurs within the sect, the results are discussed within the ancestral hall.

Yu Xiaogang's personal actions have already seriously endangered the entire family; a solution must be discussed.

Yu Luomian, who was already very dissatisfied with Yu Xiaogang, was the first to stir up trouble: "Big Brother, was it you who gave the Pope Token to Yu Xiaogang, letting him run wild?"

The Sect Masters of the Upper Three Sects are nominally Elders of the Spirit Hall as well, and each holds a Pope Token in their hands.

Yu Yuanzhen shook his head.

Earlier, when Yu Xiaogang revealed the Pope Token, he had already been suspicious of its origin.

He had not expected that the Spirit Hall would still settle accounts after the fact.

But the Pope Token certainly did not flow out from his hands.

After all, ever since Yu Xiaogang ran away from home, he and his son had not seen each other for many years.

The Elders of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Family were not satisfied with his reply: "Sect Master, empty words are no proof."

"If you cannot produce evidence that convinces us, how should this matter be handled?"

Yu Yuanzhen frowned, his finger lightly brushed over his Soul Guidance Device, and the Pope Token belonging to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Family appeared in his hand.

"Esteemed Elders, I know your concerns, but how could I let Xiaogang run wild?"

"You all should consider whose hands that Pope Token in Xiaogang's possession belongs to."

"As for the Spirit Hall's announcement, it is absolutely impossible for it to state the true situation. It is possible that Xiaogang was used by the owner behind the Pope Token, infringed upon the interests of the Spirit Hall, and was thus thrown into prison."

Yu Luomian did not buy it and continued to stir up trouble: "Big Brother, this is just your one-sided story."

"During the Preliminary Tournament, I was at the scene. Yu Xiaogang took the Pope Token out of his pocket; it is clear that the Pope Token was already in his hands beforehand."

"How could that person behind the scenes have predicted that Shrek Academy would kill someone on the competition field, and subsequently handed the Pope Token to Xiaogang in advance?"

"Even if it were given in advance, was it the intention of the original owner of the Pope Token for Xiaogang to go to Wuhun Cheng alone?"

"I don't think so, right? It is clearly that Yu Xiaogang enjoyed the status elevation brought by the Pope Token, could not control the desires in his heart, ran to Wuhun Cheng to act recklessly, and was only then thrown into the Heavenly Prison!"

The Elders, as if they had colluded beforehand, attacked Yu Yuanzhen: "The Vice Sect Master makes sense. Sect Master, the origin of the Pope Token is no longer important; what is important is how to minimize the impact on the family."

"We all know that Yu Xiaogang is your son. Every family has its own difficult problems, and we understand your pain. But family rules are family rules. Yu Xiaogang has brought such humiliation upon the family; this matter must be resolved!"

"I propose stripping Yu Xiaogang of his status as a family disciple. From now on, he will no longer be a member of the family."

Yu Yuanzhen's expression was gloomy.

If they strip Yu Xiaogang of his family status, can they still call each other father and son in the future?

However, the Spirit Hall's announcement is aimed at the entire continent; if they do not stop the losses in time, the losses suffered by the family will only be greater.

Yu Luomian added: "Big Brother, Xiaogang is your son after all. We do not oppose saving him in the name of the family, but everything has a price. This time, you cannot spoil him anymore."

"Stripping him of his family disciple status is only temporary. In the future, if Xiaogang can make contributions to the family, he can still return."

It seemed like he was giving Yu Xiaogang a chance, but in reality, he had completely blocked the path for the other party to return to the family.

One must know, with Yu Xiaogang's lazy and self-righteous nature, who would spoil him?

A person like him, besides clinging to those plagiarized theories, how could he possibly lower his status and do serious work?

If he could really do something for the family, Yu Luomian would have no objection to letting him return to the family.

"Then let's have a show of hands to vote," Yu Yuanzhen said listlessly.

All the Elders agreed with Yu Luomian's suggestion, and Yu Yuanzhen had no choice but to agree.

In the end, before the ancestral tablets, he struck Yu Xiaogang's name from the genealogy.

The Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Family still does not know what exactly happened to Yu Xiaogang.

Therefore, before heading to the Spirit Hall to demand his release, Yu Luomian still had to investigate the situation clearly.

Liu Erlong and the people from Shrek Academy most likely know the reason for Yu Xiaogang's departure, so Yu Luomian brought people directly to the qualifying tournament site.

Today's competition had already ended, and the gates of Shrek Academy's camp were tightly shut; they were thinking about strategies for the next match.

Suddenly, they heard a noisy sound coming from outside the door.

Logically speaking, their camp was located near a garbage dump, and usually, apart from staff, it was impossible for anyone to come here.

And the staff's enthusiasm for work was average; they rarely chatted around here either.

The sudden appearance of the noisy sound made them somewhat uncomfortable.

"Who is making noise at our door? Are people not allowed to rest!" Dai Mubai said indignantly.

Outside the door, naturally, were Yu Luomian and a group of experts from the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Family; their purpose in coming here was to inquire about Yu Xiaogang's whereabouts.

Since the start of the qualifying tournament, Yu Luomian had not yet come to the competition site and did not know Shrek Academy's residence.

Led by a staff member, he smelled the foul odor in the air and could not help but ask: "Is the rest area for Shrek Academy right here?"

The staff member explained patiently: "Replying to Vice Sect Master Yu, under the arrangements of the organizing committee, Shrek Academy arrived at the competition site last and could only choose this camp."

"Their camp also happens to be located downwind; there is no other way, so the garbage dump can only be placed nearby."

"But please rest assured, when the wind blows, the smell of the garbage will blow toward the northwest and will not blow into their camp."

Yu Luomian had no interest in Shrek Academy's residence, but Liu Erlong was his daughter after all; how could she be subjected to such treatment?

"Do you have any vacant dormitories here?"

Upon receiving an affirmative answer, he smiled and said: "Then reserve one for Erlong; she cannot continue to live in such an environment."

How would the staff dare to offend this Vice Sect Master of the Upper Three Sects?

Besides, there were many vacant rooms in the dormitory; these rooms were originally intended for the teachers and logistics personnel of various academies to live in.

Shrek Academy just had too few people, and the rooms in the camp were enough to accommodate them, so they had not applied for them.

Before long, the noise outside grew louder and louder. Unable to bear it any longer, Liu Erlong poked her head out of the camp and cursed: "Who the hell is making noise here? Be careful, or this lady will tear your mouths apart!"

"Erlong, is that any way to speak!"

Yu Luomian knew he was not welcomed; in private, if Liu Erlong made a scene with him, he might not say anything, but at this moment, with the family's powerhouses following behind him, it would not do for him, the Vice Sect Master, to lose face.

Seeing the face of the person who had come, Liu Erlong put her hands on her hips and could not help but curse: "What are you here for!"

An Elder of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Family stepped forward, "Liu Erlong, I am not here for you, but for Yu Xiaogang."

"I hope you can tell the truth, so as to avoid us making a misjudgment!"
