Chapter 15

Jerry had considered the four plants. Blue Silver Grass had strong vitality and might provide recovery-type spirit skills; sunflowers could absorb sunlight, and plant growth required light, so they might provide a spirit skill that accelerated cultivation; wild chrysanthemums could detoxify, after all, many Spirit Masters' skills were poisonous, and there were many poisonous spirit beasts in the forest; as for ginseng, Jerry didn't intend to absorb it this time and was preparing to cultivate it to a higher age. Absorbing ginseng might cause his martial soul to evolve, so he had to be cautious!

After considering it, Jerry prepared to absorb the sunflower. After all, cultivation is the right path. If the first spirit skill is weak, so be it! After all, everyone rarely uses their first spirit skill later on!

He took out a knife and directly cut off the part of the sunflower, but no spirit ring appeared. He suddenly thought that the roots of plants had to be removed, otherwise, they could grow leaves again after a period of time. Thinking of this, he immediately dug out the roots of the sunflower. It was a large root, and sure enough, it was a hundred-year spirit beast. Jerry put the root on the ground and took out a knife to cut it a few times, and the whole root was torn apart, but still, no spirit ring appeared! What's the situation? Could it be that the cultivation failed, and he couldn't cultivate a hundred-year spirit beast?

Jerry sat on the ground and fell into deep thought!

At this time, Xiao Wu came over, saw her brother sitting on the ground, and asked, "Brother, why are you sitting on the ground? This is a sunflower spirit beast. Is Brother preparing to absorb a spirit ring?"

"Xiao Wu, I failed. I didn't cultivate a hundred-year spirit beast. Although they look like hundred-year spirit beasts on the surface, look, there's no spirit ring," Jerry sighed and said!

Seeing this, Xiao Wu laughed out loud, "My silly brother, this is a hundred-year spirit beast. Plant-type spirit beasts can survive even if they are cut into pieces and buried in the soil. It's common sense that the best way to kill a plant-type spirit beast is to burn it with fire."

Hearing this, Jerry saw the torn-apart sunflower on the ground. Yes, the plant was cut, but it wasn't dead! After saying this, he ran home to find the flint for starting a fire, took some dry wood, lit a fire, and then threw the torn-apart sunflower into the fire. After burning for a while, a yellow spirit ring appeared. Looking at the yellow spirit ring, Jerry immediately sat down and started to absorb it. As the spirit ring entered his body, a large amount of spirit power surged in. Although it came very urgently, it was very gentle. Sure enough, plant-type spirit beasts are easy to absorb!

Soon, the absorption was finished. Jerry couldn't wait to summon his martial soul to check the spirit skill! After perceiving his spirit skill, Jerry was stunned. It was completely different from what he had originally thought!

Xiao Wu hurriedly asked: "Brother, what spirit skill did you get? Tell me quickly!"

"It's heaven-defying! My spirit skill is heaven-defying! This spirit skill of mine can absorb sunlight, accelerate the recovery of spirit power, accelerate cultivation, and also absorb a portion of spirit power into the spirit ring. That is to say, this spirit ring of mine is a growth-type spirit ring, and I can release spirit skills. Others don't need to eat my carrots anymore, although the effect of eating them will be better," Jerry said excitedly and loudly. Actually, sunflowers and Blue Silver Grass rarely grow to ten years, or even a hundred years. They are at the bottom of the food chain and have long been eaten by other herbivorous animals! So, no one in the Douluo Continent has seen anyone absorb their spirit rings. Even if they encountered them, they would think they were too weak to absorb! Jerry can be considered the first person in the Douluo Continent to absorb a hundred-year sunflower!

"Really? Brother, give me a carrot quickly, I want to eat, I want to eat!" Xiao Wu was also a bit impatient!
