Chapter 38: Not Worrying About Scarcity, But Worrying About Inequality

Ten ten-thousand-year spirit beasts were born in one day. This matter quickly spread throughout the entire Star Dou Great Forest. Spirit beasts in various areas were very happy. Many eight or nine-thousand-year spirit beasts began to release their cultivation. In the past, the heavenly punishment of lightning tribulation had always been pressing on their heads. When they cultivated to eight or nine thousand years, they began to suppress it. Now the big stone pressing on the heads of all the spirit beasts was finally gone! So there was no need to suppress it in the future!

As time passed, the spirit power concentration in the lightning-attribute area increased again, increasing to about twenty times the original. Of course, it still hadn't caught up with the core area. Originally, there was Life Gold under the Life Lake in the core area, so the spirit power concentration in the air was very high, about forty or fifty times that of ordinary areas. Later, Jerry planted many ten-thousand-year plant spirit beasts in the core area and also upgraded some of the original trees and vegetation into thousand-year and ten-thousand-year spirit beasts, which made the spirit power in the core area reach an astonishing eighty times. Spirit beasts here could simply lie down and sleep, and their spirit power would rise!

After the spirit power concentration in the lightning-attribute area increased, the plant-type and animal-type spirit beasts inside cultivated faster. Plants cultivated fast, and the more spirit power they exhaled, it was simply a perfect cycle. Moreover, in other areas, the spirit power concentration was still five times the original, and some were already six or seven times. The increase was a bit slow, which made the spirit beasts in other areas unwilling. Everyone was originally about the same, but suddenly the lightning-attribute area was advancing by leaps and bounds, and it was because of Jerry. Not worrying about scarcity, but worrying about inequality—humans were like this, and spirit beasts were also like this. It's just that most spirit beasts were more straightforward, saying what they had to say to their faces, not doing things behind people's backs, so the others sent representatives to the core area to seek help!

Regarding the changes in the lightning-attribute area this time, Jerry discovered that ordinary plants would also evolve corresponding attributes after absorbing a large amount of attribute spirit power! The bone fertilizer Jerry made before actually also had other attributes, but because there was too little, no plant evolution phenomenon occurred. Now the lightning-attribute area provided Jerry with an idea!

Other areas had many ordinary plant-type spirit beasts, the most numerous being trees. They had no special attributes, even if they were upgraded to a thousand years, it was the same.

Originally, each area relied on these numerous trees and planted attribute plants to increase spirit power concentration. At first, it increased very quickly, but after reaching a certain degree, attribute plants began to suppress ordinary plants. They had attributes, and ordinary plants couldn't compete! Especially in the fire-attribute area, ordinary plants were almost suppressed to death, so after increasing to five or six times, it was very difficult to increase further!

Jerry thought that there were huge amounts of minerals in the Star Dou Great Forest, many of which had attributes. Spirit beasts didn't know how to forge and use them, and human spirit masters didn't dare to come in to mine them, so they were wasted. Thinking of this, Jerry notified the spirit beast representatives of each area to start mining other attribute ores in each area and transport them to the core area!

For humans, mining is very difficult, but for spirit beasts, it is very simple. Spirit beasts are large, powerful, and obedient—perfect workers!

Then the entire great forest became lively again. There were construction sites everywhere. Spirit beasts dug a batch, transported it to the core area, and then brought back corresponding attribute ores transported from other areas to bury them! However, Jerry let them prioritize burying them under ordinary plants, and everything was proceeding in an orderly manner!

Jerry prepared to build all areas into extreme environments, so that in the future, the ordinary plants inside would also evolve attributes! Although it was very slow, what spirit beasts lacked the least was time. A few years, decades, or centuries would pass in the blink of an eye for spirit beasts. By then, each area would become the top-level mimicry cultivation place!

Seeing that the spirit beasts were developing better and better, Jerry was very gratified and had an idea that it was time to start an experiment! Jerry kept many attribute ores, preparing to do an experiment. If this experiment succeeded, it would change the entire continent!
