Chapter 678

You have to know that this wasn't just a few dozen or a few hundred taels of silver.

But a full ten thousand taels of silver!

Seeing Fengjie smiled: "Before, it was because money was needed everywhere, but now, it doesn't matter."

"The monthly allowance is twenty taels of silver, which is Jia Mu's standard..."

In Jia Hui's house.

The standard for his women's monthly allowance was.

Qin Keqing was in a class of her own, with one hundred taels of silver per month.

That was 1,200 taels of silver a year.

Not counting other money received for the New Year and such!

What kind of concept was this?

The highest-ranking person in the Rongguo Prefecture was undoubtedly Jia Mu.

Her monthly allowance was only twenty taels of silver.

Other masters received anywhere from a few taels to ten taels of silver.

A first-class maid received one tael of silver.

In other words.

Qin Keqing directly crushed Jia Mu!

Even Jia Zheng, Jia She, and Lady Xing combined didn't equal Qin Keqing alone.

And Jia Hui's other concubines were in another class.

Fifty taels of silver per month, uniformly!

Which also far exceeded Jia Mu, and was far, far, far beyond the former Lady Xing, Lady Wang, and others!

After learning this situation.

Lady Wang was shocked: "What, that much money."

She calculated.

Qin Keqing alone received one hundred taels.

Then the other concubines.

Now, just on the surface, the concubines were ranked up to the Twenty-seventh Concubine, her own daughter Jia Yuan Chun.

In addition, Mother You was on par with Daiyu.

"This month, just for you masters, it takes 1,450 taels of silver a month, and in a year, that's a full 17,400 taels of silver!"

"Plus other big and small stewards, managers, and servants, just for the annual allowance, it's at least twenty thousand taels a year!!"

After calculating the account, Lady Wang was shocked to death!

This far exceeded the Rongguo Prefecture!

The Rong and Ning Prefectures in their prime could not compare at all.

After all, a mansion didn't just have wages.

There was also grain, oil, rice, firewood, salt, soy sauce, vinegar, and tea, etc., as well as other expenses like social interactions.

With the way the Wushuang Marquis Mansion spent money.

It would take at least tens of thousands of taels a year, or even tens of thousands of taels!!

This was a huge sum of money that far exceeded the budget for both the Rong and Ning Prefectures!

This made Lady Wang subconsciously frown.

Theoretically, this was Jia Hui's family business.

As an outsider, it was inconvenient for her to talk too much.

Even if she was Jia Yuan Chun's mother and Seeing Fengjie's aunt.

But they were not legal wives after all.

This was different.

However, Lady Wang didn't know what she was thinking.

She vaguely treated herself as half a person of the Wushuang Marquis Mansion.

"Mistress, isn't this a bit too much."

"In a year, the entire mansion's expenses must be tens of thousands of taels of silver."

She wanted to advise Qin Keqing.

As a qualified mistress of the house, one must know how to manage finances.

Otherwise, if the Jia family spent money this way.

They would go bankrupt in a few years.

Now it was already very strained.

Jia Hui's Wushuang Marquis Mansion wasn't even a Marquis Mansion, so it should be even worse.

Keqing smiled.

She wasn't mocking Lady Wang; she knew that loyal advice was hard to hear, and the fact that the other party could say this meant she truly cared for her and treated her as one of their own.

The women also laughed along.

Leaving Lady Wang confused but feeling the weight of it.

Therefore.

Keqing explained with a smile: "Lady Wang, don't worry, our Wushuang Marquis Mansion has its own considerations."

"Although it's tens of thousands of taels of silver, it's still easy for our Wushuang Marquis Mansion."

"Easy?"

Lady Wang looked surprised!

Goodness!

This was too opulent!

Even their Duke Mansion wouldn't dare say this!

Lady Wang frowned.

Feeling that Keqing was exaggerating.

【469】 Nine million in profit last month, stunning Lady Wang for a whole year! The showing-off women are blooming with joy.

Although Lady Wang knew.

Jia Hui should have received quite a few bribes and gift money during this period.

Hundreds of thousands of taels should be there.

But she heard Jia Yuan Chun and Seeing Fengjie say before.

They spent 1.75 million taels of silver to buy seven manors from the Ning Prefecture.

Later, they bought three more.

Now there were ten manors!

The money should have been emptied out.

Even if ten manors a year.

Could have twenty-five thousand to fifty thousand taels of silver.

This way of spending, it would be hard to sustain, right?

And as a big family.

If one wanted to pass it down and have long-term stability.

It was impossible to spend as much as one earned!

Earn one hundred thousand taels, save ninety thousand taels.
