Chapter 267: Lin Mo Makes Fans' Dreams Come True!

On the other side.

After the domestic premiere of British Duel ended.

Online, a flood of comments about the film appeared in an instant.

It could be said that the praise was overwhelming!

"The movie is truly great, no dull moments at all, never imagined Long Shu and Shi Tailong could team up; in short, Director Lin is awesome!"

"They say this film was shot mostly on set; no wonder the various explosion effects look so realistic—awesome!"

"Really great, highly recommend!"

"It's on par with Hollywood blockbusters!"

"Ahhh, can't get tickets at all!"

"Question: how many stars appear in the opening of British Showdown?"

"......"

Film‑fan netizens began debating endlessly.

Especially in the comment section.

Many people kept hotly debating how many stars appeared at the start of British Duel.

Here.

After the film ended, it was almost 3 a. m.

After Lin Mo saw off all the guests.

He only then got into the car, ready to go home with Re Ba.

In the car.

Re Ba was continuously scrolling Douyin and Weibo.

Her excitement was through the roof.

"Mo Ge, netizens are all saying the movie is super great!"

"Let me see what they're saying?"

Lin Mo took the phone with one hand and glanced through it casually.

The comments mostly talked about Cheng Long and Shi Tailong's collaboration; Lin Mo made their dream come true.

There were also remarks about the film's awesome quality and the like.

In short, just a lot of hype.

Of course.

Not everyone gave positive reviews; there were negative ones too.

They were just relatively few.

Lin Mo simply ignored them.

Then, smiling, Lin Mo handed the phone back to Re Ba, pointing at the comments: "Here, everyone's praising your acting skills!"

"Hehe, that's all thanks to you~"

Re Ba giggled in response, her face radiating a happy smile.

Exactly.

While shooting this film, Lin Mo certainly gave Re Ba a lot of special treatment.

Director, director, first of all, you have to be able to act.

Just kidding, in his previous life he toiled in the film and television industry for over a decade, and his acting was also quite superb.

"Fasten your seatbelt, we're heading home!"

"Alright!"

On the road.

Lin Mo drove while Re Ba, sitting beside him, recounted the netizens' comments.

Especially when mentioning the stars that appeared at the start of British Showdown, Re Ba laughed so hard she could barely close her mouth.

"Haha, they'd never guess what roles Director Ning Hao and Director Xu Zheng played!" Re Ba said excitedly.

At that point, Lin Mo's mouth involuntarily curved upward.

Actually, when filming that shot, Lin Mo really didn't think that much about it.

It was still the suggestion from Ning Hao and Xu Zheng, saying they could add a little Easter egg in that shot.

Dawei.

He was mentioned earlier.

He is a YouTube blogger.

His most liked and most commented video on the homepage right now is the one where he watched the British Duel trailer a month ago.

So.

Today is the premiere of British Duel, and he has to watch it.

In Mi Guo it is now 2 p. m.

Sitting in the theater.

Dawei noticed that there were many fans coming to see the film.

It was basically full.

And listening to what everyone was chatting about.

Everyone was aiming for Jackie and Stallone.

Soon, the movie began.

The cinema hall fell silent.

Exactly two hours.

Dawei is basically always in an excited and aroused state.

There are quite a few foreign movie fans like him.

Watched British Duel.

They were each wildly excited.

"So spectacular!"

"This is the The. Foreigner I've been looking forward to!"

"Really great, Jackie, my idol!!!"

"OMG, did you notice the special effects? So realistic!"

"I heard that many parts of this film were shot on location…"

"My god, real footage!"

Same as in the domestic market.

After British Duel was released abroad, praise poured in.

It blew up on Facebook and Twitter!

Indeed.

Lin Mo still understands these movie fans well.

He knows what they watch.

Think about it, since Cheng Long, Shi Tailong, and Jason, the three action stars, have all been invited!

They must want to see those passionate fight scenes.

Even if the plot is crappy, it doesn't matter as long as the fight scenes are spectacular.

The fans will gladly spend money to watch!

After all.

Their original purpose for watching the film is to chase the three people's fight scenes, right?

So the Lin Mo‑remixed British Duel is extremely popular worldwide.

The next day, at noon.

At an upscale restaurant, Lin Mo hosted a banquet for everyone.

There were several private rooms alone.

To celebrate the huge success of British Duel's premiere.

Although.

Last night, Lin Mo had already hosted everyone.

But this time is different.

Mainly, Lin Mo's movies have always been scheduled to release at midnight, unchanged from Charlotte's Trouble to the current British Duel.

Not only he got used to it.

Even the movie‑going fans have become accustomed.

If you suggest changing the time, the audience wouldn't be happy.

"Lin, The. Foreigner is really huge in Britain; last night many of my friends called to congratulate me!" Jason said excitedly.

Shi Tailong also laughed and added, "Not only Britain, it's also hot in Mi Guo; I just checked RT, and The. Foreigner's freshness there is 93%."

RT.

Its full name is Rotten. Tomatoes!

And we call it Rotten Tomatoes.

It is a website that mainly provides movie reviews, information and news.

On this site, positive reviews are called "fresh", while negative ones are "rotten".

As for freshness, you can think of it as a rating.

By Douban standards, it would open at 9.3 points.

On RT, if a film's freshness is below 60%, by Rotten Tomatoes standards it's a rotten movie.

Speaking of ratings.

Douban already has over 50,000 users giving British Showdown a high score of 9.1.

Although the plot isn't novel, the cast is strong, the production is exquisite, and the fight scenes get the blood boiling.

As a commercial film, it is definitely top‑tier.

"Jackie, didn't I say it? Top‑level production, top‑level actors, including me, a top‑level director, so I foresaw the film's success!" Lin Mo joked, smiling.

Hearing that, everyone laughed.

As the host, Lin Mo obviously wouldn't only chat with Shi Tailong and the others.

He spent a while in each private room, drinking and chatting with everyone; the atmosphere was very harmonious.

When it comes to interpersonal relations, in this regard, he's got it nailed.
