Chapter 298: True Speed and Passion!!!

Here.

Yin Ziwei was preparing dinner for his wife.

As a good family man.

He certainly knows how to cook.

"Honey, have you considered taking that web drama?" Xu Dongdong, his older sister-in-law, suddenly remembered this and shouted at Yin Ziwei in the kitchen.

"Not yet, I'm a bit reluctant to take it, but it seems there aren't any other roles offered to me." Yin Ziwei replied while stir-frying the vegetables in the pot.

Mainly.

He also faces this issue, having a wife now and possibly children later.

So, he needs money!

Don't look at him now, doing daily Douyin livestreams, teaching his wife and netizens English—that's just pointless.

This is also a way to maintain his popularity.

"Then don't rush to decide; I'll help you ask if any production crews need actors."

Xu Dongdong doesn't want her man to take those low-quality web dramas; she thinks Yin Ziwei's acting is top-notch, not inferior to any movie emperor, he just lacks opportunities and hasn't encountered a suitable role.

Just then, the phone Yin Ziwei had placed on the coffee table rang.

"Honey, you have a call!" Xu Dongdong shouted, "It's Old Li calling!"

Old Li, that is, Yin Ziwei's agent.

"Then could you pick it up for me? I'm busy right now!" Yin Ziwei's voice came from the kitchen.

Okay!

Xu Dongdong picked up the phone and answered: "Hello, Old Li, what's up!"

"Dongdong, where's Awei?" came Old Li's voice from the other end.

However, Xu Dongdong could tell he sounded quite excited.

"He's cooking; is there something urgent?" Xu Dongdong said, picking up the phone and heading toward the kitchen.

"It's huge news—quickly tell him, Director Lin, Director Lin Mo's new drama is inviting him to star!!!"

Old Li said that.

Xu Dongdong froze for a moment, and the phone fell straight to the ground.

Because it was on speakerphone, Yin Ziwei also heard it loud and clear.

The young couple looked at each other, both clueless.

Or Old Li's voice from the other end broke the silence: "Hello, can you still hear me? Why are you both silent?"

Xu Dongdong hurriedly picked up the phone, she was so excited.

She waved at Yin Ziwei, signaling him to come over.

Yin Ziwei also immediately turned off the gas, wiped his hands, and felt a bit at a loss.

Just now...

He didn't mishear.

Old Li was saying...

Director Lin Mo wanted him to act in a drama?

Even at this moment, Yin Ziwei thought he was still dreaming and hadn't woken up.

This isn't.

Seeing her man like this, Xu Dongdong directly reached out and pinched his cheek.

Hiss—

Ouch, this is real, not a dream!

"Old Li, you're not joking with us, are you?" Xu Dongdong asked urgently.

"How could I possibly joke about this? It's really just now that Director Lin's assistant called me!" Old Li was laughing at Xu Dongdong's teasing over the phone.

But he can understand, after all, when he first heard this news, he was excited for a long time too.

"And Awei?" Old Li asked again.

"He's right beside me; I have the phone on speaker." Xu Dongdong said.

"Old Li, I... this is just too hard to believe!"

Yin Ziwei didn't know what to say.

Mainly...

He's still a bit dazed.

Afterward, the two confirmed it again—this is true.

After hanging up, Xu Dongdong excitedly jumped onto Yin Ziwei and shouted, "Honey, you're going to be famous!!!"

Yin Ziwei caught Xu Dongdong, and when their eyes met, the corners of his mouth rose, appearing quite calm.

But his hands gave him away, trembling with excitement.

Director Lin Mo's drama!

This this this...

Here.

Lin Mo had no idea that, by having his assistant call Yin Ziwei, the couple would be so excited they couldn't sleep all night.

Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot have already been contacted.

They agreed to participate.

Johnson's pay isn't that high yet, and Gadot's is the same.

The actor salaries for this film, naturally, couldn't be as high as those for British Duel.

As for the actors and such.

It was settled in just a few days.

As long as the main cast actors are chosen, that's fine; as for the other actors, that's not an issue at all.

Fan Di Sai Er and Paul have also been in Mo Du these days.

Lin Mo specially found a guide for the two of them and took them out to have fun.

Meanwhile, Lin Mo made a trip to Yanjing.

He met Han San Ye.

There's also another more important matter.

The sponsor of this film.

After all, he's planning to do real filming, so he needs to find a big company.

In his previous life.

Lin Mo actually took the time to learn about the filming of Fast & Furious 5; he heard that in that movie, dozens of various types of sports cars were wrecked, not counting those sent back for repairs.

Ahem, given Lin Mo's current influence and fame.

As long as he puts out the word.

Various well-known car brands rush over to seek cooperation.

Just kidding.

Director Lin Mo's new film, judging by the hype, is absolutely going to be a huge hit.

Moreover, it will be released worldwide.

This is far more effective than them running ten ads, or even a hundred ads.

As for the provided sports cars and such.

It's not an issue at all; a car costs only a little money.

March 4.

Morning Light's official Weibo and Douyin accounts posted an interview video several minutes long.

And the interviewee.

That is naturally Lin Mo.

In this few-minute video, Lin Mo briefly talked about his new film.

Host: "Director Lin, your fans surely want to know what genre and type your new film is; could you give us a sneak peek?"

Lin Mo: "It's a film about racing!"

Host: "Racing theme? I recall director Han Han's recent film 'Chasing Life 2'; Director Lin, your film and 'Chasing Life'..."

Lin Mo: "No, it's different; I want this film to let the audience feel what true Speed and Passion are!!!"

Host: "Wow, just hearing it makes me incredibly excited!!!"

"......"

Once this video was posted.

It instantly went viral across the net!

The comment section exploded!

"Wow, a movie about racing!"

"'Speed and Passion'? Just hearing that name feels exciting!"

"Sure, sure, I like this!"

"Director Lin's film, just looking forward to it is enough!"

"Ahhhhh, I love racing, I love this kind of movie!"

"True Speed and Passion!"

"Wuwuwu, finally got to wait for Director Lin's new film!"

"Hurry up and start filming, I can't wait!"

"......"

This also counts as Lin Mo announcing to all his fans.

His new film is about to start shooting!

In the coming days.

The main creators of Fast & Furious have all flown to Huaguo.

Lin Mo is now such a big director.

The film definitely needs to be hyped up.

A press conference is a must!

As for the script, it's quite simple; the plot of Fast & Furious 5 actually doesn't have much connection to what came before, the relationship between the two male leads is that they're childhood friends, Tang Laoda's sister likes Paul, and then bringing in Cheng Long's older brother ties it all up.

As for other plot points, just bring them out in flashbacks.

Meanwhile.

The news that Lin Mo's new film is about to start shooting has also spread abroad.

After all, his previous film British Duel was so hot; it hasn't been that long, and many overseas fans still remember Lin Mo.
