Chapter 377: Qin Lan Stars in a Live-Action Dora, Guaranteed Box Office Smash!

Blooming Flowers crew.

It was originally.

This drama wrapped before the New Year.

However...

Because Wang Dao was unsatisfied with some shots during editing, he called the actors back for reshoots.

People like Hu Ge and Xin Zhilei.

It was their first time acting in a Wang Jiawei film.

Who could have known the reshoots would be this troublesome?

At first, they simply thought...

Reshoots would probably take just three to five days.

But a month has already passed.

They're still filming...

These actors, in private, are probably complaining about Wang Dao, saying this job is truly inhuman.

Click!

Then Wang Jiawei made a click.

Xin Zhilei's scene was finished.

The crew members busied themselves as needed.

Actors changed costumes when they needed to.

No one knows whether Wang Dao is satisfied with this shot.

Fortunately, everyone has gotten used to it.

Xin Zhilei's scene took half a month to shoot.

A week ago, Wang Dao told her it was approved.

But then.

Now he's called her back to reshoot.

Xin Zhilei also asked for the reason.

Guess how Wang Jiawei told her.

He said he had watched the playback several times, felt the weather was off, that the scene should be gloomy with a hint of oppression, but the sun was too bright that day and the clouds weren't thick enough, so the overall feel was off.

What a guy!

And today, it just happens to be overcast...

Xin Zhilei thought to herself, this time it should be fine.

Meanwhile.

Re Ba and Qin Lan have quietly slipped into the crew.

Of course, the staff at the crew entrance recognized them.

Otherwise they wouldn't have let them in.

They just came in.

They immediately saw Wang Dao and Xin Zhilei discussing something.

Probably talking about some plot or shots.

"Xin Xin, that shot just now needs to be reshot because of a costume issue; the color of this outfit doesn't match the scene's palette. I've already asked the costume team to readjust it, so you can try the new one later," Wang Jiawei said calmly.

What else could Xin Zhilei say? She could only nod and reply, "Okay, Wang Dao, I'll cooperate."

Wang Jiawei nodded with satisfaction and turned away.

Xin Zhilei watched his departing back, muttering to herself: This shoot is truly torturous—wrong weather, wrong clothes...

She even wondered if next time they'd have to adjust her walking posture too.

The next second, she turned and saw Re Ba and Qin Lan.

They were smiling brightly at her, and Xin Zhilei instantly broke into a radiant smile: "Ah, why did you come!"

"Isn't it because Ba Ba saw you were too tired from filming, so she specifically called me, saying we'd come to see you!" Qin Lan said with a laugh.

"Xin sister, you were definitely muttering insults about Wang Dao in your heart just now, right?" Re Ba whispered with a smile.

Xin Zhilei made a shushing hand gesture toward Re Ba.

That can't be let anyone hear.

Although everyone behind the scenes is cursing Wang Dao.

But on the surface they all act friendly, even trying to flatter Wang Dao.

Of course.

Wang Jiawei isn't a fool.

He naturally knows that everyone behind the scenes is definitely cursing him.

Re Ba and Qin Lan appeared in the crew.

Naturally it attracted everyone's attention.

After all, their recognizability is high, especially Re Ba.

She stood there.

Everyone could tell, this is Re Ba!

Look.

Wang Jiawei also saw it and even walked back deliberately.

"Re Ba!" Wang Jiawei, wearing his signature black sunglasses, greeted Re Ba.

"Hello, Wang Dao!" Re Ba replied with a smile.

Beside, Qin Lan also quickly greeted: "Hello, Wang Dao, I'm actress Qin Lan!"

Although she often heard Xin Zhilei complaining about Wang Dao in the group, upon actually seeing him in person, Qin Lan still lowered her demeanor.

After all, this is Wang Jiawei!

Wang Jiawei politely chuckled, then said to Re Ba: "Fast and Furious 2 is shooting great, Re Ba. When you see Director Lin later, please pass on my regards, wishing his Fast and Furious sequel smooth shooting and big box office!"

"I will, Wang Dao!" Re Ba nodded with a smile.

"Alright, you guys chat then!" Wang Jiawei said, then turned and left.

After he walked away, Qin Lan finally breathed a sigh of relief and said to Re Ba: "Ba Ba, it's really you after all; this is still my first time seeing Wang Dao, and he's indeed quite imposing."

After all, Wang Jiawei's fame is widespread; not to mention these actresses, even if Zhang Ziyi filmed his movie, she'd have to be on her best behavior.

"Not bad!" Re Ba chuckled.

Xin Zhilei then pulled the two of them and said: "Come on, come on, let's go chat in my RV!"

Outside there are too many people, it's not convenient to talk.

Basically, famous actors in the crew each have their own RVs for convenience of makeup and rest.

Once inside the car, Xin Zhilei finally relaxed.

"You guys don't know, I just filmed this scene, and a few shots were shot over and over for more than half a month. It was already done, but then Wang Dao had me reshoot it yesterday—guess what reason he gave?"

"What reason? Bad weather, or some other problem?" Re Ba asked curiously.

She heard all this from her husband; Wang Dao is especially particular about the weather, especially liking rainy days.

"Exactly, exactly, exactly!" Xin Zhilei nodded repeatedly, "Besides that reason, he just said my clothing color was wrong. I'm wondering if next time he'll find an excuse saying my walking posture is problematic..."

Xin Zhilei let loose a torrent of complaints.

On set, she has few people she can talk to openly; there are too many backstabbing incidents in the Entertainment Circle.

She certainly doesn't want to finish speaking ill of Wang Dao, only to be reported on the spot.

As for why she dares to speak to Qin Lan and Re Ba, it's because they have a good relationship.

After participating in "Flower Youth", she also managed to make a few true best friends, especially Qin Lan; the two can talk about anything.

"Haha!" Qin Lan and Re Ba couldn't help laughing out loud.

"I heard from my husband earlier that Wang Dao especially likes rainy days; you've shot quite a few rainy-day scenes for this drama, right?" Re Ba asked again.

Xin Zhilei directly gave her a thumbs-up: "Director Lin said that absolutely correctly!"

How can one describe the amount of rain scenes in Blooming Flowers?

That's quite a lot.

Afterwards.

Xin Zhilei then pulled the two of them and started complaining about various things.

She finally has someone she can open up to; this month has been suffocating for her!

"I have no filming tonight; later, I'll take you guys out for something delicious!" Xin Zhilei said excitedly.

"Sure, I'm up for anything!"

"No, why hasn't your voice recovered yet? When they make a live-action human Dora film later, I recommend you play Dora—box office will definitely be a hit!"

"Go to hell!!!"

"Haha!"

"......"

These two really are a pair of lovable rivals.

They've only just met, and already they're starting to bicker.

Re Ba watched on, thoroughly amused.

She even took out her phone to record their bickering and sent it to the group for everyone to see.
