Chapter 409: Is Director Lin's new movie going to be filmed in Mi Guo?

In a flash, time had come to mid-August.

The editing work on The Wandering Earth 2 was nearing completion, while the Speed and Passion 2 shoot in Saudi Arabia had also finished two-thirds of its progress.

Since returning home in June, Lin Mo had already rested for nearly two months.

After Cheng Long's repeated urging, his new film Batman: The Dark Knight was finally about to officially start.

This got Cheng Long really excited.

That day he flew to Mo Du.

"Mozi, where's the script? Quick, let me see the full script!"

As soon as Cheng Long arrived at Lin Mo's house, he started shouting to see the script.

Lin Mo couldn't help laughing, gesturing to Re Ba: "Long Shu, don't rush—first have a drink of water, catch your breath!"

"Long Shu!" Re Ba laughed in response, quickly poured a cup of water, holding it with both hands to hand to Cheng Long, her tone a bit playful: "Please have some water first, the script won't run away."

Yesterday, when Lin Mo spoke with Cheng Long on the phone, he said the new film was about to start.

Next.

Everyone also saw it.

Long Shu couldn't sit still for even fifteen minutes—he immediately flew to Mo Du.

Cheng Long took the cup, glug glug taking a few sips, then casually set it on the coffee table, his gaze fixed on Lin Mo, his eyes full of: "Script? Give it to me!"

Lin Mo found his appearance amusing, shook his head, turned and picked up the already printed script from the desk, handing it over: "Long Shu, take it easy while reading, don't get too excited."

The script had already been printed.

Cheng Long took the script and began reading it excitedly.

He had been looking forward to this film for a long time.

If I hadn't been constantly calling Lin Mo to urge him to start shooting, who knows when we'd have to wait until.

That's also true.

Lin Mo was indeed influenced by Cheng Long.

Calling him every few days to remind him, "The film is about to start, the film is about to start"—if it were you, could you handle that?

Plus, his rest period had indeed been quite long—it was time to get back to work.

Although Morning Light had two big films this year.

But...

What the audience really wants to see most is still a film personally directed by Lin Mo.

Here, Cheng Long quietly read his script.

Lin Mo, meanwhile, took Re Ba out to wander around the residential area.

In a short while, he couldn't finish reading it, so he simply decided not to disturb him.

After going out.

Re Ba then laughed and looked at Lin Mo, saying: "Husband, Cheng Long is just like a little kid!"

Lin Mo laughed, reached out to ruffle her hair, saying: "This person is getting more and more like a child—Cheng Long perfectly exemplifies that!"

Re Ba giggled, her eyes sparkling: "Yes, Long Shu is really adorable!"

Just now, when Cheng Long burst in demanding that Lin Mo give him the script, his appearance made Re Ba laugh.

The two walked and chatted, and without realizing they had circled the residential area; upon returning home, they saw Cheng Long sitting on the sofa, script in hand, his face full of excitement.

Upon seeing Lin Mo and Re Ba return, he hurriedly shouted: "Mozi, you're finally back!"

Immediately, Cheng Long rose excitedly and said: "Your script is fantastic—if I weren't unsuitable for the Joker role, I'd really want to give it a try!"

As everyone knows.

Cheng Long has never played a villain in his films.

So one can imagine how great the charm of the Joker role is in Batman: The Dark Knight.

Lin Mo walked over laughing: "Long Shu, don't rush—sit down and speak slowly!"

As a result, Cheng Long simply couldn't sit still, pulling Lin Mo into a discussion of the script.

Re Ba watched the two's heated discussion, shaking her head with a laugh: "You guys keep talking, I'll go cook, and we can chat while eating later."

Cheng Long quickly said: "Re Ba, thank you for your hard work, but don't make too much—just a simple bite will do!"

Long Shu made a trip to Mo Du.

Lin Mo naturally ought to give him a proper welcome.

Going out to eat would lack sincerity.

The dinner was still quite lavish.

Lin Mo and Cheng Long chatted while eating and drinking.

But the two of them just had a few casual drinks.

They chatted straight from 7:30 p. m. to 9:30 p. m.

Re Ba also specially recorded a video and posted it on Weibo.

"Look at these two, they've been drinking and chatting for two hours and are still full of enthusiasm!"

As soon as this Weibo post went up,

in an instant, netizens became restless.

The video was only a short ten seconds long.

But...

These netizens still clearly caught a few key words.

"This film," "the role I play," "Mi Guo"...

What does that mean?

Are Director Lin and Cheng Long really collaborating?

Moreover, the new movie is also preparing to be filmed in Mi Guo?

Re Ba's Weibo has only been up for less than a minute.

The comment section below was like a blanket covering the heavens and earth.

"Is it the new movie of Cheng Long ge and Director Lin?"

"Wow, I'm so happy, Long Shu and Director Lin are collaborating again!"

"Great, great!"

"@Re Ba, Re Ba jiejie, is this true? Please tell us!!"

"Seeing Cheng Long ge this excited, the script must be good!"

"Upstairs, are you talking nonsense? Director Lin's script, what do you say?"

"@Morning Light Media, hurry up and announce it, Long Shu and Director Lin's new movie!!"

Weibo, Douyin...

Hot list, number one on hot search!

This is Lin Mo's popularity.

At this moment, Yin Ziwei and his wife Xu Dongdong are eating hot pot outside.

Moreover, Xu Dongdong is also live streaming.

Before, when Yin Ziwei didn't have much work, he was always live streaming on Douyin, teaching Xu Dongdong English every night.

However, after he appeared in Fast and Furious and became popular again, he rarely streams now.

It's rare that he streamed a bit tonight.

Xu Dongdong is answering netizens' questions.

Suddenly.

The danmaku on the public screen started flooding.

"Dongdong Jie, look at the hot search!"

"Director Lin has a new movie!"

"Dongdong Jie, ask your husband if he knows about Director Lin's new movie."

"Dongdong Jie, Director Lin's new movie, does your husband have a role in it?"

"Dongdong Jie...."

"......"

This directly left Xu Dongdong dazed.

Ah, Director Lin's new movie.

"Husband, look!"

Xu Dongdong pointed at the danmaku in the live stream, Yin Ziwei leaned in to look, and immediately saw him shake his head.

He really didn't know Director Lin had a new movie.

However.

Even if he knew, it would be impossible to say it in the live stream.

Such things are confidential.
