Chapter 425: Even the Chicago mayor wants to make progress!

The Batman armored car had already been airlifted over as early as two days ago.

Of course, it wasn't just one; Xiaomi over there made several for Lin Mo.

Mainly, if something gets smashed in a collision, it can be replaced promptly.

After all, they still knew Lin Mo's nickname, 'Live-Action Maniac'.

Lei also specifically said that for the vehicle's needs in this regard, just contact Li Qun; he can devote himself to serving the 'Batman: The Dark Knight' crew during this period.

Actually, the demand for vehicles in this film isn't that big, after all, it's not filming a racing movie like 'Fast & Furious'.

Speaking of 'Fast & Furious', besides Xiaomi automobiles, many other car brands have also joined in the second installment.

This is also unavoidable, after all, Xiaomi alone can't eat up such a huge market; multi-party cooperation is the way to go.

Here, Lin Mo gave Chen Xing a look, signaling him to drive the car out to broaden these guys' horizons.

Soon, the staff drove out the Batman armored car.

The crew on set were fine; they'd seen it a couple days earlier, but Jason, Bei Er and the others were all stunned.

Guys, it's rare for them not to be interested in cars.

Come on, when they saw this Batman armored car, their gaze was practically the same as seeing an unparalleled beauty.

Not to mention those men, even Gai Er Jia Duo couldn't help but say, 'This car is really cool!'

Then...

Jason and the others all turned their heads to look at Lin Mo; that gaze, that meaning was too obvious.

Only see, Jason was the first to couldn't hold back; he strode up to Lin Mo and, using his signature British accent, said: 'Lin, this car is simply amazing! You have to let us try it, or I definitely won't be able to sleep tonight.'

Bei Er also hurriedly said: 'Lin, you know, I'm Batman; if even I haven't driven this car, what will the audience think? They'll definitely think I'm a fraud.'

Heath Ledger, Gai Er Jia Duo also meant the same.

Heath Ledger now is still a very cheerful actor.

For the Joker role, Lin Mo had personally discussed with him how to perform it, so he didn't need to research it alone; don't make it like in his previous life, where after the film was released, the person ended up dead.

Take it slow; for this whole film, Lin Mo's biggest worry is Heath Ledger's mental health.

Lin Mo looked at their eager gazes one by one, and he and Cheng Long couldn't help but laugh.

He shook his head, feigning helplessness, and said: 'Alright, alright, you guys are really a handful, but test drives are allowed, as long as we follow the rules—no speeding, and certainly no wrecking my precious.'

Oh!

"LIn, I love you!"

Each of them started shouting like a monkey.

Cheng Long added from the side, 'These youngsters, each one, can't stay calm.'

Hearing that, Lin Mo almost couldn't help laughing out loud.

He wanted to say, 'Long Shu, when you saw this car back then, your excited look was pretty much the same as theirs.'

Even more excited than a person, even more thrilled.

"Right, Mo Zai, the mayor of Chicago has invited us to dinner tonight!"

Thinking of something, Cheng Long looked at Lin Mo and said.

He and the Chicago mayor are acquaintances, so knowing they were coming to Chicago, the mayor gave him a call.

"Mm, I got it, Long Shu!"

Lin Mo nodded.

Coming to Chicago to film, the superiors definitely need to meet in person.

After all, when filming overseas, you inevitably need the help of the local government.

Otherwise, things can easily go wrong.

Don't think just because the crew has Cheng Long, but...

Some gangster organizations, he might not give them face.

On the other side.

Jason, Bei Er, Heath Ledger, Gai Er Jia Duo, Yin Ziwei, and others.

They had already gathered around the Batman armored car, unable to wait, each excited like a child.

Only see, Jason first took out his phone, turned on the camera, and started recording a video of himself.

He has quite a few fans on Facebook, a proper big internet celebrity.

"Hey, guys! Look what this is!" Jason said loudly, excitement written all over his face, 'This is the Batman's battle car! The real Batman battle car! Lin just agreed to let us test drive—I can hardly believe it! Tonight I'm going to become a hero of Gotham City!' After saying that, he deliberately turned the lens toward the car, showing off its sleek body and cool details.

Bei Er wasn't to be outdone either; he held his phone, filming and laughing as he said: 'Hey, friends, I'm Batman, but I'm now cooler than in the movie, because I'm about to drive this real Batman battle car! Lin, you're a genius, this car is simply amazing!'

After saying that, he deliberately struck a Batman pose, causing the people nearby to burst out laughing.

After a few people finished filming the video, they immediately uploaded it to Facebook, adding various excited expressions and tags.

Not long after, their posted video was drowned in fans' comments and likes.

"OMG! Is this really the Batman battle car? So cool!"

"Good heavens, this is way too cool!"

"Ah, has filming already started?"

"I can't wait to see this movie!"

"Lin, his superhero film will definitely be different from others—looking forward, looking forward!"

"This car is really cool!"

"......"

In the evening, Lin Mo and Cheng Long went to keep the appointment.

The mayor of Chicago, Bu Lan Deng·Yue Han Jun, is Black.

When he saw Cheng Long and Lin Mo, his enthusiasm was off the charts.

"Jackie!" Johnson had met Cheng Long a few times before, so they were fairly familiar.

He smiled and shook Cheng Long's hand, then Cheng Long introduced the Lin Mo beside him: "Johnson, this is Lin…"

Lin Mo smiled, nodded, and politely extended his hand: "Johnson, hello!"

Johnson was also quite happy to see Lin Mo.

He knew just how capable this Huaguo director was.

"Lin, I really like your Fast and Furious!" Johnson extended a hand of friendship, smiling as he shook Lin Mo's hand.

"Thank you!" Lin Mo replied with a smile.

The ensuing dinner gathering was straightforward.

Lin Mo briefly outlined his filming requirements; after hearing them, Johnson cheerfully said, "Lin, you and Jackie are our most esteemed guests in Chicago. If any problem arises during filming, I'll definitely help resolve it."

As for the streets and venue rentals Lin Mo mentioned, those are trivial matters.

In short, as long as Lin films in Chicago, everything is easy, and any request can be met.

After all, he also wants to improve!
