Chapter 616

As the theater lights completely dimmed, everyone gradually quieted down.

On the screen, the signature opening of Chen Guang Pictures slowly emerged—a golden giant dragon churning in the sea of clouds, finally turning into the four strong, powerful characters of Chen Guang Pictures.

This opening animation was personally designed by Lin Mo, so each time it appears it elicits a round of applause from the audience.

Immediately after, the familiar dragon logo appeared.

The golden dragon-shaped logo shone brightly in the darkness, with the words of the public screening permit below especially conspicuous.

After the opening, the screen suddenly went dark.

「Although they withstood the heavenly tribulation, but their physical bodies were destroyed; if their souls have no reliance, they will scatter in an instant, and the Seven-Colored Precious Lotus Lord protects and nurtures... 」

The narrator's voice came through.

The plot of the second part picks up right after the first part's ending, with Nezha and Ao Bing jointly resisting the heavenly tribulation; the so-called 'my fate is in my own hands, not heaven's' resulted in their physical bodies being shattered by the tribulation.

And this narrator's voice—anyone who has watched Nezha: The Devil Boy's Birth will surely recognize it as the voice of Nezha's master, Taiyi Zhenren.

On the screen, Taiyi Zhenren's voice continued: '... so we must use lotus root to reshape our true forms; this cannot be rushed...'

The scene shifts, and the townspeople of Chen Tang Guan spontaneously come to gather lotus root for Nezha and Ao Bing to reshape their true bodies.

While watching this touching moment, the camera cuts to a bald-headed uncle, who is picking his feet while tossing lotus root into the basin!

Nezha's little head pops into the frame: 'Did you just use your foot-picking hand to make lotus starch?'

'Oh, it's fine, just a bit on my feet; I'll wash it off later!'

'I'm not worried about your feet!'

Instantly, laughter erupted from the audience in the theater.

'Hahaha, too real!'

'This detail is awesome!'

'Jiaozi, what kind of nasty taste is this, hahaha!'

Before the laughter could subside, the auntie next door did something even more outrageous—she blew her nose and then tossed the mucus into the lotus starch basin!

Nezha widened his eyes: 'Did you just blow your nose?'

The auntie kept a straight face: 'Oh no, no mucus, no mucus—this is lotus starch!'

She said this while stirring the sticky lotus starch.

Seeing this scene.

The audience in the theater couldn't hold back their laughter.

'Hahahaha!'

At the same time.

At the premiere of Nezha's Mischievous Son Causes Sea Turmoil in Mo Du.

Although Lin Mo wasn't in Mo Du and couldn't come, Re Ba was there.

As the boss's wife of Chen Guang Group, she naturally had to attend on behalf of her husband.

Moreover, the Nezha series is a very important project for the company.

Of course, for this kind of occasion she naturally couldn't bring Nuan Nuan; Aunt Wang was looking after her at home.

Stars in Mo Du were also invited to attend the premiere.

Yang Mi was definitely there, then Chao Ge, Chen He, and them.

Plus Qin Lan, Xin Zhilei, and them also came.

At the Mo Du premiere venue, laughter kept coming from the theater.

Re Ba sat in the exact center of the first row; when she saw the foot-picking uncle scene, she tried to maintain her boss's wife image, only pursing her lips and lightly laughing.

But when the nose-blowing auntie appeared, she completely lost composure, clutching her stomach and laughing as she leaned on Yang Mi's shoulder: 'My goodness! What is this~!'

Yang Mi laughed so hard her mascara ran: 'Director Jiaozi really isn't afraid of disgusting the audience~'

Chao Ge, as everyone knows, is very outgoing.

He likes to go wherever there are lots of people.

He had long wanted to meet Director Jiaozi, so he deliberately sat next to him; before the movie officially started, he kept chatting with Yang Yu about animation knowledge.

Seeing Chao Ge's serious demeanor, Chen He was stunned: 'Wow, Chao Ge, you wouldn't also want to direct an animated film, would you?'

As everyone knows.

Besides being an actor, Chao Ge is also a director.

In today's netizen slang, if Deng Chao's two films were released now, their box office would definitely not be low, because they are too abstract.

Before, audiences didn't buy into his abstract films at all, but now...

Well, Sun Li next to him turned her head to glance at her husband.

Deng Chao laughed and said: 'It's not that I want to learn more about it; in the future we'll also study under Director Lin and make an exclusive animation for our son and daughter!'

And don't even get me started.

Chao Ge really does have this idea.

He has seriously considered this problem; since he's not cut out for live-action films, maybe he could try making an animated movie.

After the Nezha series blew up, China's animation film market began to be valued by capital; then Lin Mo's Robots directly sparked a global animation film storm.

So, do you think Chao Ge could possibly have no ideas?

He's thinking that once Director Lin returns to Mo Du, he'll go ask for advice and also let Lin see if he has any talent in this area.

What if it actually works out?

Although he and Sun Li aren't short of money... who would complain about having too much? You'd agree, right?

As the movie officially began, everyone also watched it very seriously.

Including Director Jiaozi himself.

Although he had already watched it twice by the time the edited film was finished.

But today it's officially released, and he's still nervous.

The premiere of Nezha's Mischievous Son Causes Sea Turmoil — who knows how many people are watching.

Especially these investors.

They all want to see if this animated film actually has any potential.

Although the first Nezha film was a hit, that doesn't prove anything — what if it was just luck?

As for Robots, there's no need to say more.

Director Lin's films always come with their own halo.

I estimate...

Lin Mo could casually pull in billions at the box office even with a documentary.

So, for the second Nezha film, they want to see if it can still create a miracle!
