Chapter 643

Re Ba just put down her phone,

Then she saw Lin Mo walk out of the study, rubbing his temples while loosening his collar.

"Honey~" Re Ba trotted over, helped him massage his shoulders, "Who were you just on the phone with? You've been talking for so long."

Lin Mo comfortably narrowed his eyes: "San Ye, Director Zhang, and Jiang Wen Laoge, we chatted about the movie."

"Ah?"

Re Ba froze.

Then Lin Mo explained to Re Ba: "I plan to have San Ye serve as executive producer, Director Zhang as artistic director, and Jiang Wen Laoge..." He paused, "He said he wants to be a special consultant, actually just wanting to come to the set for the excitement."

Re Ba puffed out a laugh: "Jiang Ge is still as interesting." Speaking, she picked up her phone, "By the way, Zi Yi Jie and Gong Li Jie have sent messages, saying they want to participate..."

"Really?"

"If they both come, that's great!"

Lin Mo continued: "I've been worried that the Heavenly Court side lacks a goddess role that can hold the scene; having Gong Li play Wangmu Niangniang would be perfect! As for Zi Yi Jie..." Lin Mo stroked his chin, thinking, "She could play a female war god type of role."

Re Ba nodded: "They'll definitely be thrilled." Suddenly thinking of something, "By the way, Qin Lan Jie, Hai Lu Jie also want to join the cast..."

Lin Mo waved his hand: "Arrange them all!"

Re Ba couldn't help laughing: "You're trying to stuff half the entertainment circle into this movie, huh."

Lin Mo shrugged: "Anyway, the scene is big, there are many roles." Saying that, he picked up the script on the coffee table and flipped through it, "Just the Eastern Heavenly Court side alone has dozens of speaking roles, let alone the human world and Olympus."

As they were speaking, Nuan Nuan ran over holding a toy, lunging into Lin Mo's arms: "Daddy~!"

Lin Mo picked up his daughter, kissed her little cheek: "My dear, once Daddy's film starts shooting, I'll bring you to the set to play, okay?"

"Okay~!"

The little one doesn't know what a film crew or a set is; she only knows Daddy wants to take her out to play.

Re Ba laughed while shaking her head beside them: "Oh no, now the film crew will turn into a children's amusement park."

Lin Mo was about to speak when the phone rang again; he glanced at the caller ID, made a Cameron mouth shape to Re Ba, then answered: "James?"

From the other end came Cameron's excited voice: "Lin! Great news! Little Robert Downey Jr. is very interested in playing Zeus!"

Lin Mo raised an eyebrow: "Oh? What's his asking price?"

After all, Iron Man's pay is outrageously high.

"He said the pay is negotiable," Cameron laughed, "mainly he wants to work with you. By the way, Scarlett also wants to play Athena..."

Re Ba listened on the side, eyes wide, silently mouthing: "Black Widow playing Athena?"

Lin Mo winked at her, then continued on the phone: "Anything else?"

"Chris Hemsworth as Thor, besides him there's no more suitable actor..."

Lin Mo smiled: "I think the same!"

Afterwards, the two chatted a bit more before hanging up.

After hanging up, Re Ba eagerly asked: "Iron Man playing Zeus? Black Widow playing Athena? Thor playing... Thor?"

Lin Mo nodded: "Exactly, this is truly a battle of the gods."

Nuan Nuan, listening on the side, looked puzzled, tilting her little face and asked: "Daddy, what does 'battle of the gods' mean?"

Lin Mo and Re Ba exchanged a glance, then in unison said: "It just means a really awesome movie!"

《GodsWar: Reboot》

That day, Lin Mo, Steven Spielberg, and Cameron discussed it.

Considering the film's big scenes, special effects, actor salaries, etc., it would have to start at at least ten billion US dollars.

Although many actors who participate in their film are willing to take a pay cut.

but there are just too many big-name stars we'd like to hire!

We can't possibly ask others to halve their pay just to film it, can we?

After the New Year, in February.

Cameron and Steven Spielberg often flew back and forth between Huaguo and Mi Guo.

Mainly to finish the script, and to discuss various details with Lin Mo.

This lasted until roughly mid-March.

Only then did they finalize the cast, filming locations, script, etc.

You could hardly say it's settled.

After all, while filming, accidents can happen at any time.

Anyway, it's basically ready to start shooting.

Like Cameron and Steven Spielberg, these perfectionists can't wait any longer!

You know, it takes these two a little over a year from preparation to start of shooting when they make a film.

But this time is different.

Even Lin Mo is looking forward to it.

On March 25, Chenguang Entertainment's official Weibo released the full cast list of GodsWar: Reboot, with Cameron and Steven Spielberg simultaneously announcing it overseas.

As soon as the news came out, global movie fans exploded!

#GodsWar: Reboot Cast#

Several topics directly topped domestic and international hot searches, with netizens' reactions described as an epic-level celebration!

"Holy shit, Iron Man plays Zeus? Black Widow plays Athena? Thor plays Thor? This casting is perfect!"

Gong Li's Wangmu Niangniang + Tang Ni's Zeus, who can withstand this aura?

This movie, just thinking about the visuals makes me explode with excitement!

Lin Mo + Cameron + Steven Spielberg, global movie fans will go crazy!

So… when will it be released? My wallet is already ready!

Release? This movie, this cast, must take two or three years to film, right?

Looking forward, looking forward!!!

Netizens also understand.

Such a powerful cast, plus Lin Mo, Cameron, Steven Spielberg…

The shooting schedule will definitely be especially, especially long.

But…

Looking forward!

Now, everyone is waiting for one thing — the start of production!

By the way.

The assistant director lineup for GodsWar: Reboot is also luxurious.

Here in China there are Huang Bo, Ning Hao, Xu Zheng, Feng Xiaogang and others…

Originally.

Lin Mo was still thinking of inviting them to play a role or something.

As a result, the few of them, as if already discussed, asked Lin Mo whether he still needed an assistant director or something.

Especially Huang Bo, when he called Lin Mo he said: "Director Lin, I am your Gate-Closed Senior Disciple, shouldn't this assistant director slot be saved for me?"

Lin Mo, after hearing that, laughed uncontrollably.

What else could he do but agree.

Originally to let them play a role, easy, but they had to become workhorses.

In a private restaurant in Mo Du.

Huang Bo, Ning Hao and Xu Zheng were sitting around a private room.

The waiter just finished serving the last dish, Xu Zheng couldn't wait and raised his glass:

"Come, come, first a shot! The three of us finally got a big leg!"

"Exactly!" Ning Hao tilted his head, downed the drink, wiped his mouth and said, "Huang Bo, that Gate-Closed Senior Disciple claim is really shameless."

Huang Bo chuckled, his small eyes narrowed to a slit: "That's called strategy! Do you understand? My relationship with Director Lin is different from yours, different~!"

Xu Zheng grabbed a piece of braised pork, ate and said, "But seriously, being able to take part in a production of this level, I never even dreamed of."

"Who says not?" Ning pulled out his phone, flipped the cast list, "Tsk tsk… I also have a chance to satisfy the craving for an international director!"

Don't think the three of them aren't famous domestically.

Especially Ning Hao, he is renowned in the Director Circle.

But abroad, they count for nothing.

The three became more excited, unknowingly they finished two bottles of Maotai.

Finally, Huang Bo raised his glass and stood up:

"Come, toast to our Iron Triangle's first participation in an international top-tier production!"

"Cheers!"
