Chapter 156: Wang Nika and Lucci fighting, losing prestige

A few days later, New York, Lighthouse Country.

At the press conference for the start of "Death Note," specially arranged by Netflix,

Xu Feng sat in the C-position in the middle.

Beside him was Christian 【Name】, who had previously acted in "Bleach: Arrancar Arc."

As for Chow Yun-fat and Alec Su, who were considered big stars in the country, they were squeezed out of the camera.

No way, Hollywood is not so easy to mix in.

Except for Bruce Lee from decades ago...

Jet Li, they probably don't even know who he is.

After struggling with the choice for L, Xu Feng still chose Timothée 【Name】, who played Ulquiorra in the "Arrancar Arc."

This kid's acting is passable, and he isn't completely famous yet.

Uh... actually, thanks to the role of Ulquiorra, he has gradually begun to emerge in the Lighthouse Country.

But he never dared to ask Xu Feng for a raise in salary.

The fact that Xu Feng likes to squeeze actors' salaries to the extreme has already reached the ears of these foreign actors.

【Name】...

"Director Xu, is it true that this movie cannot be shown in the Dragon Country?"

The first to ask was a Dragon Country reporter.

Originally, Xu Feng let him ask first out of respect for his compatriot.

757 Result, he didn't expect him to ask a stupid question as soon as he opened his mouth.

Xu Feng pointed speechlessly at the "18X" mark at the bottom of the giant poster behind him.

The surrounding American reporters lowered their heads and let out gloating laughter.

They thought, is this Dragon Country reporter still in his internship period?

A script that can be rated 18X in the Lighthouse Country—it would be a miracle if it passed the Dragon Country censorship.

"Mr. Xu, we heard that you received an investment of 600 million $ from Netflix, but the salaries for Hollywood A-list actors like Christian and Megan are only 4 million $..."

This reporter babbled a lot; actually, he only wanted to express one meaning:

Are you discriminating against our Lighthouse Country actors?

After hearing this question, Xu Feng shouted "Good guy" in his heart.

If the previous Dragon Country compatriot was just unprofessional, then the American reporter was brain-damaged.

They say that the Lighthouse Country entertainment industry is becoming increasingly exaggerated in its political correctness, to the point where even the Little Mermaid has to be played by a black person.

But I didn't expect it to be so obsessed.

You discriminate against us Dragon Country people, and I haven't even said anything yet, but you directly put a hat of discrimination on me?

However, this question is indeed very eye-catching.

After all, the appearance fee for an actor of Bale's status is basically 15 million $ and up.

Megan 【Name】... around 10 million.

Xu Feng directly pressed it to less than one-third; it's too exaggerated.

Many people in the Dragon Country entertainment industry act like they are the best in the world at home, but they get cowardly as soon as they get to the US.

Obviously, Xu Feng is not this kind of person.

"That's because my script has this value; only bad movies need to rely on sky-high salaries to attract superstars."

Xu Feng said indifferently.

Reagan, sitting on the other side, had a strange expression; he suspected that Xu Feng was scolding Netflix as well.

After all, Netflix's previous superhero movie, which cost 200 million $, spent 100 million $ on the salaries of three Hollywood superstars.

And then it ended up with a score of 6.7.

It's not too bad, but against the backdrop of a 200 million $ investment, it was a total flop.

"Then can you guarantee that this movie will be a big hit? If not, how will you take responsibility?"

This reporter obviously didn't want to let Xu Feng off so easily.

"What? Want to make a bet?"

Xu Feng raised his eyebrows and asked back.

"Can I?" ===== CHAPTER 158 =====
