Chapter 1393: The Desire for This Is a Bit Too Strong~

Qin Feng said to Reba, "In those videos people see online."

"They are all farmed bamboo rats."

"But the ones we see here are bamboo rats living in the wild."

Among wild bamboo rats,

the spotted bamboo rat, the Chinese white bamboo rat, the small bamboo rat, and the giant bamboo rat

are all state-protected animals under the 'Three Beneficials' category.

"If you catch and eat them, you'll truly need a bowl of prison rice to go with it."

As soon as Qin Feng finished speaking,

Reba stuck out her tongue and said, "Can I take back those words I just said?"

The viewers in the live stream were delighted:

-- 【Good heavens~ Brother Flower Farmer would call this an expert move!】

-- 【By the way, bamboo rats do look quite cute, chubby and innocent-looking.】

-- 【Nowadays, many wild animals are protected species, right? One small slip and you might end up eating prison rice.】

-- 【So in the wild, it's better not to easily disrupt the ecosystem of plants and animals!】

-- 【For nature's sake, and also for your own future.】

The netizens' remarks

could be said to be correct and reasonable.

If you encounter wild animals in the wild,

just to satisfy a momentary craving,

and thereby leave a criminal record for the rest of your life, that would absolutely be a case of losing more than you gain! Therefore

Qin Feng and Reba's half-joking conversation

could be considered positive publicity for wildlife conservation.

Perhaps it was precisely because, earlier, seeing the bamboo rats darting through the forest made Reba recall the bamboo pit viper Qin Feng had mentioned before. These small creatures

can all be found in the Bamboo Sea of Southern Shu.
