Chapter 686: The Student in the Back Row

The setting sun dyed Shanfeng gold.

The wind between the mountains.

In the sweltering season, it brought a touch of coolness.

Also blown up.

Was Principal Wang Shouye's hair — sparse, and mostly gone white.

He waved toward the road below the mountain.

Standing on tiptoe, waving.

When Principal Wang raised his hand.

The setting sun stretched his shadow even longer.

Glaring wall__

Qin Feng and Reba, along with Principal Wang.

Walked all the way down the mountain along the steel-pipe staircase.

Qin Feng held Reba's hand.

His silly girlfriend's palm was already drenched in sweat.

It wasn't from the heat.

Only because when going downhill, the line of sight points downward.

Her calves were trembling nonstop.

Her palm too was full of nervous sweat.

Afraid that one careless slip and she'd go tumbling down — rumble, bump, roll~

Qin Feng asked, "Principal Wang, do these volunteer teachers leave in batches every so often?"

Principal Wang nodded and said, "Yes. Even those who don't want to leave, I'll chase them away."

Reba didn't quite understand at first.

But after a brief moment of thought.

She could also appreciate Principal Wang's good intentions.

These lovely volunteer teachers.

Were like torchbearers passing the flame.

They carried the fire onward, crossing over mountains and ridges.

After completing their brief mission.

They ought to go on to challenge the next stage of life, and greet a brighter future.

Principal Wang continued, "This place will be a beautiful memory in their lives, not a place to linger forever."

"No one stays here forever, but there's always someone on the way here."

After saying these words.

Principal Wang Shouye descended the steps.

Leaving Qin Feng and Reba behind.

, the ones who value loyalty and righteousness most!

Gazing into the distance at the road at the foot of the mountain, where a small bus kicked up a little dust.
