Chapter 265: Hannibal's Imitators

Qin Ming was in the observation room, comforting a few people, and said, "Sigh. It was just a joke, why are you guys really so scared?"

Teacher He said, "This kind of joke, better not make it in the future, it's really a bit scary, by the way, what's going on with this cooking."

Qin Ming said, "Boiling, cooking, the actual purpose is to render out the fat, the simplest logic is that the corpse inside has liquefied, but the fat and such are actually still there, so, we decided here to use the cooking method, to find out the corpse's fat, then weigh it, based on the fat, to determine a person's physical build."

Teacher He said, "If I remember correctly, Chen Fan can sketch out a person's form just from the bones, wouldn't that mean cooking isn't necessary?"

Qin Ming suddenly reacted, right, Chen Fan really could do that.

Then what was Chen Fan's purpose in doing this?

Damn, got played, got tricked, this stinky kid just wanted to cook, simply wanted to see what kind of changes the corpse would undergo after being boiled.

Damn, sure enough, Li Tian's instinct was right, this guy is a pervert.

Qu Yiling and the others stood to one side, Chen Fan took the already liquefied remains and tossed them in.

Then he thought for a moment, and said, "Alright, when it starts boiling later, remember to tell me."

A few people stared at Chen Fan.

"I mean, for research, what are you guys thinking? Really, speechless, I just can't figure you guys out."

A few people laughed, looking at Chen Fan, keep pretending then, keep acting then.

"I'm really impressed with Chen Fan this old six, damn."

"I can't take it, sorry, I can't hold it in anymore, I think I'm starting to feel nauseous, brothers, goodbye."

"No, you also didn't say forensic doctors play like this."

"The pressure cooker at my home, I can't even look at it anymore."

On site, the director said, "What to do, you looked at the barrage, what do you think?"

The operations person here said, "Whatever, just slack off, director, this thing, who knows, it counts as a type of forensic work, had I known, I wouldn't have come to do this job, I think I wasn't normal that day, director remember to count this as a work injury for me, thanks."

"Sigh, let's just leave it like this, it's just that looking at this guy Chen Fan, why does it seem like he's cooking?"

"It's not just you who thinks so, everyone thinks so, I feel like if you added Sichuan pepper and spices, Chen Fan could eat a whole meal."

On site, the whoosh of water boiling, Chen Fan here and Old Liu looked, and began weighing.

Then Old Liu compared the woman's knee and long bone.

"Mm, age confirmed, thirty-five years old, uh, this pelvis is a bit loose, mm, if it's natural, then it's nothing, just worried it might be."

Chen Fan here naturally understood what was going on.

"Weighing result, the woman's body structure isn't right, so, estimated to be pregnant."

????

Then the answer fits.

At this moment everyone's fists started clenching, damn, what kind of beast could do something like this.

Then, Chen Fan here began examining the man's body, and after the examination found something off.

"Mm, this man's age is thirty-six, one year older than this woman, do you think there's any connection?"

Old Liu said, "Stop staring, go do the DNA comparison."

Everyone nodded, and started picking up the bone picks.

Chen Fan said, "Here, this bone is cleaner, easier to find DNA."

Then, Old Liu and Chen Fan saw the third set of remains.

This set of remains was obviously much smaller, measuring the long bones, the estimated height wasn't tall, one meter five, calculating the age again, it was a child, about fourteen years old.

A fourteen-year-old child.

And a girl at that, cut open by someone, this doesn't look good.

Such a big case here, Old Song couldn't handle it, so he went straight to Li Tian.

After Li Tian arrived, he didn't speak, waiting for the DNA test results.

Soon, the results came out, and everyone felt a bit withdrawn.

Qu Yiling said, "Mm, the man and woman have a certain blood relation, inferred to be a sibling relationship, this girl has no blood relation whatsoever with these two."

At that instant, a problem arose.

Here, Li Tian said, "Then I know what's going on, this missing persons case, someone reported it before, I went to look for them at the time, later found the note left behind, and the phone number the man gave at the time, indicating the two had eloped."

Chen Fan was stunned, originally planning to mull over the cooking matter, but Li Tian's words directly drew Chen Fan's attention.

"You just used the word eloped, right?"

Li Tian said, "Right, eloped, what I used was eloped, these two are siblings, but the relationship wasn't quite right, and the two also knew it was wrong, so they chose to run away, to live in a strange city."

Chen Fan said, "She was pregnant, you know that?"

Li Tian was silent, then said, "Right, pregnant, but this is a matter of morality, you can't handle it, the child's parents didn't know what to do either, the two kids were very resolute in their attitude, had a feeling of insisting on being together, this case, I couldn't handle it either, calculating the age, weight, estimated they didn't run far."

Chen Fan was stunned, and said, "Then what about this little girl? A fourteen-year-old child, don't tell me you don't know this person?"

Li Tian rarely lit a cigarette, and said, "This child was adopted by the two, but later something happened, this child was molested at school by someone, the case was handled by me, because I knew these two, the two could only find me, so I handled it, that person went in, later came out."

His mother's.

Everyone looked at Li Tian, Li Tian said helplessly, "No need to look for the killer, the person is still sitting in prison, getting taken care of by the people inside every day, after this guy came out, he molested someone else, was sent to the police station by people, this time, the sentence is even heavier, however, if this case was done by him, then I can directly pin this person down here."

Chen Fan said, "Then you're going to be disappointed, it's not him."

Not him?

Li Tian was speechless, and said, "How are you sure it's not him?"

Chen Fan pointed at the scale, and said, "The weight isn't right, because a lot of things are missing, these people are missing things on their bodies."

"Maybe eaten by bugs, maybe decomposed by microorganisms, these are all possible."

Chen Fan directly took out the leg bone, and said, "Look at the cut yourself."

Li Tian looked at the smooth, clean cut, and said, "This... very sharp?"

"To get something this sharp, only professional tools can do it. With professional tools, do you think it was that person?"

Damn it.

Li Tian, unusually, truly wanted to drag this case to its death, to have that pervert executed on the spot.

But the truth wasn't like that. A medical examiner is a medical examiner; the Fayibu Society won't talk feelings with you. The truth is always disappointing.

The audience was completely speechless.

Why, why did it have to turn out this way?

What did these people do wrong? Couldn't there be a happy ending?

Li Tian didn't speak, lit another cigarette, and said: "Morally, I don't allow these two to be together, but they went off to live their own lives, didn't bother anyone else. I don't know how to judge it either."

No one spoke, no one discussed the two people's backgrounds.

This kind of thing, better not to talk about it much; say too much and it'll easily cause trouble.

"You said something's missing. What's missing?"

Chen Fan thought it over and said: "Let me think, I'll reconstruct it for you."

"It's already like this, and you can still reconstruct it?"

Chen Fan said nothing, looked at the leg bones, and said: "Mm, I'm sitting here now, looking at this dead person. I really like a body like this. I think this body is delicious."

"Of the human body, the places with the most muscle fibers are the thighs or the biceps. Of course, the organs are pretty good too, especially the heart. To keep the heart clean and make a clean cut, my first cut goes here."

Chen Fan gestured and found the spot for the first cut.

"Mm, can't rush it, have to take it slow."

Then Chen Fan stopped his movements.

"Mm, the second time is over here, but a day has already passed."

Over here Li Tian started to feel nauseous. Old Liu examined the wound and said: "Mm, although there isn't much change, if you look carefully, you can still tell the sequence."

Li Tian said: "Old Liu, you know that's not what I'm talking about."

"Even if you know, keep your Zhang Zui shut. So many problems—this is my apprentice."

"But Chen Fan is really in danger right now."

The cameraman didn't even dare look at Chen Fan now. Chen Fan's eyes were shining, his fingers sliding slowly along the human skeleton.

This guy wasn't performing a dissection—he was admiring ingredients.

For example, Chen Fan picked up the leg bone and carefully gestured with it.
