Chapter 475

He had actually guessed a bit of this result from the very beginning.

After all, he had been a police officer for many years; the deceased had no wounds on his body, and investigations revealed no illness, so a large part of the cause was likely poisoning.

But...

Who could possibly poison a doctor in a hospital full of people and eyes?

Even if people didn't see it, the surveillance cameras would.

"Chen Fan, after questioning the deceased's family, we found that the deceased had a very regular schedule of going to and from work these past few days."

"He was perfectly fine when he left home in the morning."

"And you just verified the scene yourselves; there were no clues at the scene whatsoever."

"So, this case has absolutely no leads."

Li Tian was very troubled.

Was another unsolved case about to be added?

Chen Fan thought for a moment and asked, "What about the patient's family? Or could 107 have been the patient?"

Li Tian had thought of these points as well, and replied, "As a doctor, the deceased was truly dedicated to his patients, so the possibility of medical disputes has been ruled out."

"I have already investigated every possible breakthrough point."

The case had reached a bottleneck.

Chen Fan said, "Just now, while we were performing the autopsy on the deceased, the cyanide residue in the deceased had already reached the heart vessels and blood vessels. According to the time it takes for blood circulation to flow..."

"... it indicates the deceased was poisoned several hours ago, but no one noticed during that period."

Li Tian said nothing.

And just at that moment.

Li Tian's phone suddenly rang.

"Hello? What is it? What... send me the address immediately, I'm coming right now!"

Li Tian's expression became even more serious.

It seemed another new case had arrived.

After hanging up the phone.

Li Tian said, "Chen Fan, you'll have to come with me."

Seeing Li Tian's alert demeanor, Chen Fan instinctively asked, "To the scene again?"

"Yes, someone just reported a case; a family in the residential compound was brutally killed, and five people died!"

This was indeed a major case.

Chen Fan did not hesitate; he called for his apprentice, as well as Old Song and Xiang Qinqin and the others, and set off for the scene once more.

Two cases occurred on this day.

Causing everyone to be in a state of panic.
