Chapter 5: This Guy Can't Be a Murderer, Right? (Please Support — Fourth Update)

~4 min read 644 words

A few people stood inside the room; some of the girls couldn't hold it in and were hugging a trash can nearby, throwing up.

The boys had slightly better resistance, but their faces were still deathly pale.

Xiang Qinqin, on the other hand, looked at the corpse quite calmly, said nothing, and stood off to one side.

Teacher He said, "Huh? You're not feeling sick?"

"I used to work over at the funeral parlor. Later I self-studied and passed some medical-related exams. Now I'm only just planning to come over here and take up forensic work."

A vocational college student, standing among a crowd of master's and bachelor's degree holders, always looked so out of place.

Liu Laoshi changed into his clothes, walked out, and said, "In a moment, I'll be performing the dissection. Any of you willing to pitch in?"

No one spoke; no one dared step forward.

Boss Yang simply shoved Chen Fan.

The people in the livestream burst out laughing.

"I understand the boss's grudge against this employee."

"She paid good money to support him, and yet this guy keeps stirring up trouble."

"If I were the boss, I'd probably have been driven to the hospital with rage already."

Chen Fan said, speechless, "Boss, you've gone too far. All I did was steal your breakfast, didn't I?"

"And?"

"Like spreading rumors online that you have smelly feet."

Boss Yang's face instantly darkened. She said, "Liu Laoshi, get a set of clothes ready and have Chen Fan put them on. Since it's a dissection, let everyone understand more. It's not great for a professional to do the dissection — letting an amateur do it is the most fitting. That way, everyone can feel the most essential difference."

Liu Laoshi said, "Chen Fan, do you have some grudge against your boss?"

"Probably, yeah."

With that, Chen Fan went off to change clothes.

After a while, Chen Fan walked over.

Liu Laoshi explained, "For basic dissection, there are quite a few knife techniques. The common one is the Y-shaped incision. However, if you've worked on a lot of people, a single straight cut is actually fine too."

With that, he took out a scalpel, ready to make his move.

Chen Fan's hands were itching from the side.

Honestly, this skill made Chen Fan feel like he could cut someone open at any moment.

Boss Yang forced down her nausea and said, "Um, Liu Laoshi, how about you let Chen Fan do it, and you correct him as he goes."

Liu Laoshi said, "Sure. Chen Fan, you come here. Follow the path I've laid out for you to start; I'll correct you. Go ahead and do it however you think."

Chen Fan took the scalpel: "I can really do it however I want?"

"It's fine. Dissection is itself a process of letting others learn. If you make a mistake, it'll be easier for me to guide these students."

Chen Fan said, "Um, I'm really going to go wild then."

"It's fine. Just cut. As long as you can stomach it."

My apologies, everyone — you told me to do this.

The blade went straight down, and in an instant, Liu Laoshi fell silent.

The position, the accuracy, even the angle of the cut — all were absolutely perfect.

After the initial cut, Chen Fan's scalpel never stopped, dancing rapidly.

It followed the lines of the muscle, every move flawless, and the speed was astonishingly fast.

Liu Laoshi instinctively picked up the notebook in his hand, intending to take notes.

But Chen Fan didn't say a single word — he just kept cutting.

It was as if he were dissecting a work of art.

At that moment, everyone felt as though Chen Fan were dancing, immersed in some grand symphony.

The flesh was sliced open, the tissues taken out.

From the scalpel, it became a saw.
