Peng Xiaoran stumbled drunkenly out of Chen Fan's room and groped her way back to her own room.

The moment she opened the door, she found the light in her room was on.

Walking inside, she caught sight of Ju Jingyi sitting on the bed with a teasing look on her face, staring right at her.

Ju Jingyi smiled and said, "How come I'm here? Of course I came looking for you. When we were chatting I noticed you were gone, and when I walked past Chen Fan's door, I heard something, you know."

Peng Xiaoran said, "Don't go imagining things. I just went to drink with Chen Fan."

"Ohhh, drinking, is it? Then did anything else happen? Isn't there that saying about liquor giving cowards courage? You like Chen Fan so much—did you do anything to him?"

Ju Jingyi pulled Peng Xiaoran down onto the bed with one hand and asked, settling in comfortably.

Peng Xiaoran waved her hand, but in her mind she recalled the scent on Chen Fan's body.

There was none of that sweaty smell on him; instead there was a crisp, clean fragrance.

Peng Xiaoran couldn't help smiling and said, "He smells so good."

Ju Jingyi immediately grew wary. "What smells so good?"

Peng Xiaoran answered with a cheerful laugh, "Chen Fan smells so good. In short, he just smells really good."

"Then you still deny that you did nothing to Chen Fan? You wicked woman—weren't you supposed to stick to your own bottom line!"
