Chapter 560

Due to the scouring of the lake water and the accumulation of silt on the lakebed, the refrigerator and the sawmill were extremely dirty.

If further testing is required, it will be a major undertaking.

After sending these two items back for testing.

Chen Fan and Old Liu, wearing specially made clothes, walked to the lakebed.

Although there was a lot of silt in the lake, the deepest part only reached Chen Fan's knees.

Old Liu first found some hair, then found some bones that had not been completely sawn off.

Chen Fan also found one or two teeth that were severely damaged.

These things are unique to humans.

After thoroughly searching the entire lakebed, Chen Fan and Old Liu returned to the shore with the teeth, hair, and some bone fragments they had found.

"These things will inevitably become evidence!"

Li Tian said with solemn assurance.

Old Song shook his head: "No, these things are indeed unique to humans, but there are too few of them. If we don't find more, we cannot determine that all these things belong to the deceased."

The law is rigorous; it will absolutely not convict a criminal based on trivial evidence just because everyone is biased in favor of the deceased.

Once a precedent is set, many people will find loopholes.

"Ah? Finding this much isn't enough? We have to keep looking? We've already searched this huge lakebed; where else can we look?"

"I have to say, sometimes one really needs patience; if it were me, I'd probably have given up by now."

"Isn't this all ironclad evidence? Why do we still need to...?"

The audience didn't understand.

Chen Fan said: "Finding more fragments isn't difficult; I need a similar sawmill and a pig."

"A pig?"

Xiang Qinqin, following beside Chen Fan, didn't quite understand; the body structure of a pig is not very similar to that of a human.

"Actually, the genetic similarity between pigs and humans is 97.8 percent; they can be said to be very close."

"And a pig's skin and bones are very similar to humans'. We can put the pig into the sawmill, then observe the distance it is ejected, which will allow us to determine the approximate range of the body disposal."

Chen Fan's explanation made Old Liu's eyes light up.

Not long after.

Li Tian had someone bring an identical commercial sawmill to the lakeside, then bought a dead pig and placed it into the commercial sawmill along with some wood.

Start the sawmill.

The gears spun continuously, and pork mixed with wood chips was ejected from the sawmill's outlet.

Mixed with some blood.

This scene looked somewhat terrifying; some who couldn't bear it hid behind others.

Many in the live comments also felt it was scary.

"This looks too terrifying; it feels real, like a person was being sawn apart inside."

"Anyone capable of killing in this manner is utterly perverted."
