Chapter 598

When Ye Xuan received Murakami Haruki's thank-you email again and learned that almost the entire writer circle in Japan had started raising pigs, Ye Xuan's jaw almost didn't close.

Unexpectedly, unknowingly, he had made such a huge contribution to the pig-raising industry in a foreign land like Japan?!

The butterfly effect is awesome!

In this way, when he came to the pig farm for a walk again, Ye Xuan couldn't help but sigh as he looked at the fat and strong old sows in his farm.

Never thought that these old sows would give Murakami Haruki endless inspiration?!

Not only did he write a new novel, but he also drove the vigorous development of Japan's pig-raising industry?!

It has simply made a great contribution to the reproduction of the pig family!

Just as Ye Xuan was praising the moving achievements of his old sows, the phone in his pocket made a buzzing sound.

Taking it out to look at the caller ID, it was a call from the President of Peking University.

"Hello, Mr. Ye, long time no see…"

Hearing the familiar hearty laughter of the Peking University President on the other end of the phone, Ye Xuan also curled his lips.

"President, what's the matter?"

"Mr. Ye, it's like this: next week, a university expert exchange delegation from the United States is coming to Peking University for multidisciplinary academic exchange, and we were wondering if we could invite you to participate?"

An expert exchange delegation from the United States?!

Just as Ye Xuan was puzzled, the Peking University President on the other end cleared his throat, his face showing a serious expression.

You have to know that universities in the United States have always looked down on universities in China.

Thanks to outstanding scientific research strength and academic atmosphere, among the top 50 university rankings in the world, the United States alone accounts for 80%.

In contrast, China's top two schools, Tsinghua and Peking, don't even have the qualifications to enter the top 50.

In this way, the pride of the universities in the United States has grown even more.

One of the schools even publicly criticized:

"We in the United States just don't like admitting Chinese students!"

Now that the university expert exchange delegation from the United States is coming to China for exchange, it is no different from a weasel paying a New Year's call to a chicken!

It is clearly ill-intentioned and deliberately looking for trouble!

Sweeping his gaze over several professors in the same office with worried expressions, the Peking University President pressed his hand down slightly, signaling everyone to stay calm.

Subsequently, the President approached the microphone again and said slowly.

"The visit of the exchange delegation, in our view, is clearly not pure in purpose……"

Hearing the voice of the Peking University President, Ye Xuan also understood.

Looking at it this way, the visit of this group of experts and scholars from the United States is clearly not friendly.

Just as Ye Xuan was sighing, the next moment he heard the tone of the Peking University President on the other side carry a bit of flattery.

"So, isn't this wanting to ask Mr. Ye to be our backing?"

Backing?

Ye Xuan couldn't help but laugh.

This is clearly pulling him in to fill the scene.
