Chapter 129

The release schedule was set for May.

He hoped that in the coming two months, Chen Mo could help with the promotional tour.

Regarding Cameron's request, Chen Mo thought for a moment and agreed.

Therefore, for the next period of time, Chen Mo accompanied Cameron to various events to promote the release of *Titanic*!

Outside.

Some actors, film companies, and even audiences were shocked after seeing the promotion for *Titanic*!

Because the promotion for *Titanic* revealed that the production cost of this film was as high as 200 million USD!

Such a production cost had never appeared in the entire history of cinema!

Additionally, during one event, Cameron stated in front of all the American reporters that *Titanic* was a film that could not be measured.

Such exaggerated promotion could be said to have captured everyone's attention!

Therefore, the name *Titanic* appeared in reports every single day!

"Cameron's New Work! 200 Million Investment! A Shocking Arrival in May!"

"After a Five-Year Gap! Chen Mo's New Work!"

"Can love transcend race and even age? *Titanic* gives you the answer!"

In the time that followed, a whirlwind called *Titanic* swept through all of Hollywood!

And the production teams of some films that had previously set the same release schedule as *Titanic* were filled with panic!

There was no help for it!

The momentum of this *Titanic* was simply too strong!

The promotional intensity was like a massive army!

On the other side.

Los Angeles, inside the house purchased by Cheng Long.

Last year, in '98, Cheng Long earned 225 million USD at the box office with *Rush Hour*, and this film won the Best Foreign Language Film award at this year's film awards.

Cheng Long's status in Hollywood was no longer what it used to be!

If you asked Hollywood audiences to name three Chinese stars, they would definitely say Bruce Lee, Chen Mo, and Cheng Long.

However, compared to the achievements he had attained, Cheng Long felt a bit awkward when compared to Chen Mo.

After all, while he was still happy about his starring film earning over 200 million USD at the box office, 12-year-old Chen Mo was already participating in a film with a production cost of 200 million USD!

The production cost was as much as the box office.

Comparing the two, Cheng Long had nothing in his heart but sighs.

Additionally...

Cheng Long thought about his next film and found Mei Yanfang to ask for Chen Mo's phone number.

Subsequently, he called Chen Mo.

The call was connected quickly.

Chen Mo's voice rang out: "Hello..."

Cheng Long laughed and said: "Momo, this is Cheng Long."

Chen Mo, on the other end of the line, had just finished an event and was sitting in a car, preparing to go to the hotel to rest.

"Brother Long, hello."

Chen Mo smiled.

Cheng Long laughed: "Do you have time in a while? Come and make a cameo in my film?"

Hearing Cheng Long's words, Chen Mo's brows immediately rose.

Actually, when Cheng Long said his name, Chen Mo had already roughly guessed it.

He pondered his upcoming schedule for a moment, and after a while, Chen Mo asked with a smile: "When does Brother Long's film start shooting?"

"Around the end of this year. It's just a cameo; it will take two days at most to finish."

Cheng Long said.

After hearing this, Chen Mo smiled: "Alright, Brother Long, just contact me directly when the time comes."

Cheng Long immediately revealed a smile on his face upon hearing this.

Subsequently, the two chatted for a while longer before hanging up the phone.

After hanging up, Chen Mo put down his phone.

In fact, without needing to guess, Chen Mo already knew what the next film Cheng Long was going to shoot was.

*Rush Hour 2*.

In his past life, Cheng Long started shooting the second installment right after finishing the first *Rush Hour*.

Chen Mo agreed to the cameo because he was actually quite interested in the cast of the second film.

Joining in.

Of course, the current Zhang Ziyi had not yet gone international; she was still just bouncing around domestically.

Last year, she won the Best Actress award at the Hundred Flowers Awards for a film by Zhang Yimou, and this year she participated in Cheng Long's *Rush Hour* to step into Hollywood for the first time, followed by gaining some fame in Hollywood relying on Director Ang Lee's *Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon*, after which she began calling herself an international star.

The most important thing was this person, Daniel Wu.

To be honest, Daniel Wu was still Chen Mo's idol.

It was just that Chen Mo had been too busy these past few years to get to know Daniel Wu.

Thinking about this, the car soon arrived at the hotel.

Chen Mo entered the hotel room, and after taking a shower, he fell fast asleep.

Soon, the time reached May.

*Titanic*, which had undergone two months of promotion, began its release!

This release was simultaneous in five countries, including the UK and the United States!

On the day of the release, all the personnel of the *Titanic* crew, including the leads and the director, all arrived at the premiere site.

Everyone sat in the front, while film critics and media reporters from various places sat behind them.

In other cinemas across various countries, audiences who were following this film bought tickets and entered the screening halls.

Inside the screening hall.

In the best seats in the front row, Cameron sat in the middle, while Chen Mo and Kate sat on either side.

At this moment, Cameron, Kate, and Chen Mo were all feeling a bit nervous.

Although Chen Mo knew the results of *Titanic* from his past life, this version had undergone changes due to the flapping of his own butterfly wings!

Although the plot was roughly the same, the lead had become himself, and the story itself had also changed.

Therefore, Chen Mo felt a bit uncertain in his heart.

"It will definitely be a success!"

At this moment, Cameron's voice came to his ears.

Chen Mo turned his head and saw Cameron clenching his fists, cheering himself on.

Chen Mo couldn't help but smile.

"Hey, Chen Mo, after the premiere ends later, do you have time? Let's have a meal together."

At this moment, Kate, who was sitting on the other side of Cameron, said.

This girl had not yet walked out of the state of falling in love due to the play and still held some fantasies about him. Chen Mo felt that if he expressed something, perhaps this girl would ignore worldly views and throw herself into his arms regardless of everything.

"Uh, no need. It's too late. I have to go home. After all, I'm still just a child, and my family is very worried about me."

Chen Mo smiled.

Hearing Chen Mo's words, Kate nodded in some frustration.

Just as they were speaking...

The lights in the screening hall suddenly went out.

Immediately after, the big screen in front lit up.

The film had begun!

Watching the film start to play, the small conversations in the screening hall disappeared, and everyone began to watch seriously.

At the beginning of the film, several submarines appeared above a shipwreck.

Subsequently, accompanied by the appearance of the shipwreck and the survivor—that is, Rose in her old age—under her narration, the camera shifted, and the scene returned to those memories from decades ago.

The largest and most luxurious cruise ship in history!

*Titanic*!
