Chapter 132

The fourth day.

The fifth day.

In the following period, Titanic dominates the North American box office, and many films released at the same time as Titanic are beaten back step by step, with their box office numbers dropping again and again!

During the screening period of Titanic, Fox and several other companies have already begun to prepare for overseas release plans.

Among them, the release dates for countries in Southeast Asia are set for early June, while other countries are between mid-May and early June.

After launching the overseas release plan, Fox contacts Chen Mo and Kate, hoping that the two can travel to various countries for promotion.

Chen Mo refuses directly.

It is not that he doesn't want to go, but with the impending internet economic bubble of the new millennium, Chen Mo is worried about his unreliable father and wants to stay at home during this time to keep a close eye on him.

Chen Mo's refusal makes Fox disappointed, but they don't say much, so they can only take Kate to various countries for promotion.

Just like that, time quickly reaches early June.

"Titanic" is released in overseas countries, while in North America, after nearly a month of screening, it is officially pulled from theaters.

From the first day of release until now, the cumulative box office of Titanic has reached 1 billion dollars!

It directly breaks the box office record in film history!

Several investment companies make a fortune, Cameron's fame rises again, and the same goes for Chen Mo.

Everyone has obtained what they wanted!

On the other side.

During this time, Chen Fu begins to sell the company shares he holds in batches.

As the leading enterprise in internet search engines at present, countless companies are scrambling to acquire the shares held by Chen Fu.

In short, everything is developing according to Chen Mo's plan!

July.

Chen Mo, who is staying at home, receives a call from Cheng Long.

"Chen Mo, the film crew here has already started filming. When do you think you can come over?"

Cheng Long asks with a smile on the phone.

Hearing Cheng Long's words, Chen Mo smiles and says: "Brother Long, send me the address, and I will come over in a few days."

"Haha, good, give me a call before you come."

After a brief conversation, the two hang up the phone.

Before long, Chen Mo receives the text message sent by Cheng Long.

Chen Mo opens the text message to look at the address, then puts his phone away.

The next day.

Chen Mo does not go to Cheng Long's film crew, but instead goes to Chen Fu's company.

Upon arriving at Chen Fu's office.

Chen Fu in the office is a bit puzzled to see Chen Mo coming: "Why are you here?"

"Hehe, Dad, just came to see you."

Chen Mo says with a smile.

A gratified expression appears on Chen Fu's face; his son actually came to see him on his own initiative, and he feels a little touched in his heart.

"By the way, that copyright you mentioned to me a few days ago has already been bought."

Chen Fu says, remembering something.

Hearing Chen Fu's words, Chen Mo is immediately delighted.

"Did you buy all the heroes?"

"Yes, bought them all. Son, let me tell you, this thing is really not cheap. Guess how much I spent."

Chen Fu says with a smile.

Chen Mo asks: "How much?"

Chen Fu holds up five fingers.

"Fifty million dollars!"

Upon hearing this, Chen Mo doesn't think it's expensive.

Think about how much money this Marvel series earned for Marvel Company!

Just "Avengers: Endgame" alone earned Marvel Company a box office of 2.8 billion dollars!

And the production cost of that film at the time was only 360 million dollars!

What a multiple of profit!

"By the way, son, what do you think your dad should do after selling all the shares in his hands?"

Chen Fu asks again.

"Dad, I'm only 13 years old. Don't you think it's strange to talk to me about this?"

Chen Mo cannot help but roll his eyes at Chen Fu.

In fact, Chen Mo is also thinking about what his dad should invest in.

"What do you think about me starting a film company?"

Chen Fu doesn't care about Chen Mo's words and continues to ask.

"Whatever... anyway, our family has plenty of money now, just don't squander it all."

Chen Mo says.

After saying this, Chen Mo stands up and says: "Dad, I'm leaving now."

"Oh, okay."

Then Chen Mo turns and leaves the office.

One week later.

Chen Mo goes to Cheng Long's film crew.

Upon learning that Chen Mo is coming, Cheng Long personally takes people to wait outside the film crew.

When Chen Mo's car arrives and Chen Mo gets out, Cheng Long smiles and greets him.

"Haha, Xiao Mo, welcome, welcome."

Cheng Long greets him with a smile.

"Hehe, Brother Long, you are too polite."

Chen Mo smiles again.

After saying this, Chen Mo's peripheral vision catches a glimpse of a woman next to Cheng Long.

The woman is not very old, looking to be in her early twenties, with a melon-seed face, big eyes, and an indescribable pride between her brows.

This woman is none other than the world-famous international Zhang.

However, at the moment, she is just an unknown actor who has just entered Hollywood.

"Chen Mo, hello, I am your fan, my name is Zhang Ziyi, and I am also an actor."

Zhang Ziyi extends her fair little hand, a smile on her face.

Chen Mo also extends his hand to shake Zhang Ziyi's, then lets go and says: "Hello."

Chen Mo's attitude toward Zhang Ziyi is neither cold nor warm.

But Zhang Ziyi is very enthusiastic toward Chen Mo.

She looks at the hand that was just shaken and says half-jokingly: "Oh my, I didn't expect to be able to shake my idol's hand. If our fans back home knew, they would be so envious of me."

Hearing Zhang Ziyi's words, Chen Mo smiles again, and Cheng Long, who is on the side, interjects: "Xiao Mo, let's go, let's go inside and talk."

"Hmm, okay, Brother Long."

Chen Mo nods.

Then the group walks toward the inside of the film crew.

Cheng Long's film crew has many Chinese people. Although the staff heard rumors that Chen Mo would come for a guest appearance, now that they actually see Chen Mo arrive, they start discussing it heatedly.

After all, with the release of "Titanic," Chen Mo is now famous all over the world, and he has quite a few fans!

"So this is Chen Mo, he looks even more handsome than in the movie!"

"Look at his appearance, and the key is that his acting is also good!"

"Yeah! I watched Titanic, his acting is beyond reproach, I feel it's even better than those who are professionally trained."

The person who says this secretly thinks of a certain actress in the film crew.

"Alright, say less, if we get heard, we'll be in trouble."
