Chapter 140

You have to know that this economic bubble is not just in North America, but global!

And under this internet economic bubble, even some entertainment newspapers in Hollywood start reporting on this matter!

Even one newspaper brings up the matter of Chen Fu selling his shares earlier.

At that time, quite a few people secretly mocked Chen Fu, but looking at it now, it is evident how precise Chen Fu's vision was!

December.

In the film crew, Chen Mo, who is filming, receives a call from Cameron.

"Chen Mo, Oscar just contacted me, our film has been shortlisted, and you have also received a nomination for Best Actor."

On the other end of the phone, Cameron's face is full of smiles...

Hearing Cameron's joyful words, Chen Mo also smiles and says: "Congratulations, Director Cameron."

"Haha..."

Cameron laughs out loud.

Then the two chat for a few more sentences, and after agreeing on the time for the Oscar ceremony, they hang up the phone.

Then filming continues.

Another half a month passes.

"Harry Potter" wraps up!

At the wrap-up party on the day of the wrap-up, a group of little actors cry their eyes out.

After all, they are just children, their personalities are simple, and they haven't been polluted by the entertainment industry, so they value friendship very much.

The wrap-up party ends amidst a burst of crying.

The next day...

All the actors leave, and Chris Columbus and Chen Mo head to Los Angeles.

On the way to Los Angeles, Chen Mo asks Chris Columbus if he has any plans to sign with a company.

And Chris Columbus thinks for a while and directly indicates that he wants to sign with Chen Fu's Mo Mo Entertainment.

Because in his view, "Harry Potter" will definitely be made into a series!

And if he signs with Chen Fu's Mo Mo Entertainment, plus he is best at this type, he won't have to worry about work for the next few years.

After getting Chris Columbus's reply, Chen Mo returns home and tells Chen Fu about this matter.

And the next day, Chen Fu goes directly to the company and signs Chris Columbus.

Another month passes...

The Chinese traditional festival, Spring Festival, arrives!

It also indicates that time is about to reach the new millennium!

The new millennium!

An era where a hundred flowers bloom!

On this day, Chen Mo does not spend the New Year at home with his family, but is dressed in formal attire and heads to the Oscar awards scene!

Upon arriving at the awards scene, Chen Mo sits in the car waiting to walk the red carpet.

And while he is waiting, Chen Mo sees several familiar figures.

Cheng Long, Empress Gong, and International Zhang.

At this moment, Cheng Long is walking on the red carpet with Empress Gong on his left and International Zhang on his right.

The two women are wearing tight-fitting cheongsams, not caring at all that it is still winter.

And on both sides of the red carpet, many reporters are holding cameras and taking pictures of the three.

Among them, several Asian reporters are even more excitedly pressing the shutter frantically.

Chen Mo watches the three walking the red carpet, his eyes rolling, wondering what he is thinking.

Another half an hour passes...

For some reason, the weather outside turns overcast.

Chen Mo looks at the weather, then says to Zhou Baoguo: "Uncle Zhou, is there a down jacket in the trunk? Help me get it."

Zhou Baoguo nods, then gets out of the car.

Before long, he walks in with a down jacket.

Another ten minutes pass.

The staff of the Oscar ceremony notifies Chen Mo that it is his turn.

After being notified, Chen Mo gets out of the car.

Just after getting out of the car, the cold wind outside makes Chen Mo shiver. He hurriedly puts the down jacket on over his clothes, and only then does he feel better.

Then Chen Mo walks toward the red carpet.

When he walks to the red carpet, the reporters on both sides see that it is Chen Mo who has appeared, and they hurriedly hold up their cameras and start taking pictures!

Additionally, there are some reporters holding long microphones and reaching out, asking questions loudly.

"Chen Mo, do you have anything to say about your nomination for Oscar Best Actor?"

"Your father, Chen Guohua, sold his shares before the economic bubble, did he get inside information?"

"Chen Mo, I heard that Kate once stayed in a hotel with you, is it true? Have you two fallen in love?"

"Mr. Chen Mo, do you have any plans to return to your home country?"

Chen Mo, who is walking on the red carpet, subconsciously stops after hearing one of the questions.

He looks in the direction of the voice and sees that it is an Asian reporter asking.

Most importantly, the question just now was asked in Chinese.

Having left Beijing for nearly ten years, Chen Mo actually still has a good impression of Chinese reporters.

He turns around and walks directly toward the reporter.

And the reporter, seeing this scene, is excitedly flushed.

You have to know that currently, Chen Mo is the best-performing star from the Chinese entertainment industry in Hollywood!

Even the popular Cheng Long cannot compare to Chen Mo's status in Hollywood.

Many domestic TV stations or programs want to invite Chen Mo, and even want to do an exclusive interview with him, but they have never been able to get his contact information.

"Chen Mo, do you have any plans to return to your home country?"

The reporter asks again hurriedly.

Chen Mo comes to the reporter and says with a smile: "I had this plan before, and I am currently considering it."

The reporter, upon hearing this, hurriedly asks again: "Chen Mo, there is one more question, this question is actually discussed a lot in China, many people say you have changed your nationality, may I ask you..."

Before the reporter finishes speaking, Chen Mo says directly: "I am a Chinese person, the blood flowing in my body is Chinese blood, I have yellow skin, black hair, and black eyes, and my nationality is also Chinese nationality, which has never changed."

Listening to Chen Mo's serious reply, the reporter nods excitedly, forgetting to continue asking questions for a moment.

And Chen Mo nods to the reporter with a smile, then walks toward the inside...
