Chapter 159

Chen Mo laughed after hearing this: "What are you joking about? We met at the premiere ceremony, it's only been half a month, and I've become more handsome?"

Emma nodded earnestly: "Yes, I believe in my judgment. Eh, it seems your voice has changed too."

Saying this, Emma Watson frowned slightly and looked at Chen Mo, as if she wanted to see something from him.

Chen Mo smiled and ignored the little girl, walking straight toward the tent not far away.

Since he was at the crew, he had to report to Chris Columbus.

After reporting, Chen Mo left the tent, then chatted with some of the child actors in the crew.

The next day.

The crew officially started filming!

Because they had filmed the first one before, and the actors hadn't been replaced, everyone quickly got into character, and they also had experience and tacit understanding, so the filming speed was much faster than before.

Time passed quickly...

Time reached mid-June.

*Harry Potter* was released overseas.

The countries where it was released this time were still several Southeast Asian countries, as well as Germany, Argentina, and a total of more than twenty countries.

The time *Harry Potter* was released overseas was when it was officially pulled from theaters in North America!

In the twenty days from the premiere to now, *Harry Potter*'s box office in North America reached 460 million US dollars.

And the North American box office of this film in his past life was only 360 million US dollars. Because of Chen Mo's participation, and Father Chen spending a lot of money to make better special effects than in his past life, it added 100 million US dollars to the box office.

This box office directly broke the box office record for children's movies set by *Home Alone* that year!

And the lead actor of *Home Alone* that year was also Chen Mo!

*Harry Potter*'s box office and record-breaking performance made the Hollywood Entertainment Daily start blowing it up again.

And under their blowing, Chen Mo's status in Hollywood now could be called the number one teenage actor in the world!

Chen Mo cared about this status, but he didn't pay attention to it.

He was filming with the crew every day.

And on the other side...

Chinese mainland.

Chinese mainland film production company, in the conference room.

At this moment, the famous director Ang Lee and several company heads were discussing the release date of a movie.

The movie they were discussing was *Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon*, directed by Ang Lee and starring Chow Yun-fat, Yang Ziqing, and Zhang Ziyi.

Actually, they had planned to release this movie in June.

But Momo company's *Harry Potter* disrupted their plan.

*Harry Potter* grossed over 400 million US dollars in North America, which made them have to take it seriously.

What if their movie *Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon* clashed with *Harry Potter* in the same slot and was beaten to a pulp?

"Should we change the release date to July? After all, we only did preliminary promotion, but didn't announce the specific release date."

Director Ang Lee hesitated.

Saying this, Ang Lee couldn't help but think of Chen Mo, the actor in *Harry Potter*.

That teenager with perfect, impeccable looks!

Then an idea emerged.

Should he consider letting him star in that play?

Would he act in it?

The company executive sitting opposite nodded after hearing this: "Fine, then set it for release in July, let's make it July 8th. By then *Harry Potter* will be off the screens, and we can just take advantage of this wind to release it."

"Okay."

After discussing, everyone began to make arrangements.

Time passed quickly.

Soon it was July 4th.

The overseas screening of *Harry Potter* also came to an end.

In the twenty days of overseas screening, the total box office reached 810 million US dollars.

Adding the previous North American box office, the total was 1.2 billion US dollars!

And Father Chen only invested less than 150 million!

After deducting the share with the cinema chains and taxes, Father Chen received 600 million US dollars.

There was no help for it; he had to give 30% to the cinemas, and there were the taxes in the free country that made people afraid, so he only got this much.

But this much was already not bad!

July 5th.

The *Harry Potter* crew, Chen Mo asked director Chris Columbus for leave and took a plane to the country.

After arriving in the country, Chen Mo first went to Xiangjiang to visit Mei Yanfang, who had already been discharged from the hospital.

He stayed with Mei Yanfang for two days, then took a plane back to the mainland.

He returned to the mainland this time to attend a premiere ceremony.

And this premiere ceremony was for Ang Lee's *Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon*.

As for why Chen Mo would attend this premiere, it was because a few months ago, at Chen Mo's *Harry Potter* premiere ceremony, Zhang Ziyi had come to show support.

Although Chen Mo couldn't say he liked Zhang Ziyi, he couldn't say he hated her either, but since people gave you face, you had to return the favor.

Just consider it a favor.

So after Chen Mo returned to the mainland, he contacted director Ang Lee.

"Chen Mo?!"

"Ah, good, haha, then you are very welcome, fine, I'm coming over now."

After receiving Chen Mo's call, Ang Lee excitedly called all the leads of the play, and then they took a car together to the hotel where Chen Mo was staying.

Upon arriving at the hotel, the group came to the door of Chen Mo's hotel room, and then Ang Lee raised his hand to knock.

Not long after...

The door opened.

Chen Mo appeared in their line of sight. ===== CHAPTER 161 =====
